   We've eaten here several times in the past and generally been happy, but this time I felt kind of ripped off. They offered a "cocktail du jour" of a Plum Old Fashioned, but neglected to mention that it was $18, which is more than almost any other cocktail, and it was tiny. I ordered a Steak au Poivre that was supposed to be "Prime" (and was priced like Prime), but it didn't seem like prime beef, and when I asked if I could have frites instead of the potato puree, they said sure, but then added a $4 upcharge to the $40 price. Finally, neither the menu nor the server mentioned that there were vegetables accompanying the Salmon that my wife ordered, so we ended up ordering a side vegetable that was totally unnecessary. In all, we each had one drink, shared a salad, each had an entree, ordered an unnecessary side of Brussels Sprouts, and shared a dessert and the total with tax and tip came to $192. Not worth it.

   Good day Michael, I am sorry that you did not enjoy your experience at Brasserie on your latest visit. When running specials it is not typically our policy to recite pricing unless a guest asks for us to, the cocktail is a industry standard as to size, with the proof of alcohol used we would never jepordize our guests by overpouring a cocktail. Again I am sorry that you didn't feel it waranted the price. As for the vegetable, most of our dishes are "garnished" with a small amout of "vegetable" as to add color to the plate but not equivelent to what most would consider a full portion of vegetable which is why we offer sides of vegetables. I will reachout to you to follow up.

   I always love and enjoy coming to the Brassiere. The waiters and waitresses are always so sweet and kind and knowledgeable on the specials and they work so hard to accommodate everyone in the restaurant. The Brassiere truly is a personal favorite spot to go to for any occasion!

   Great service and amazing food. Our two servers were very attentive and we had a wonderful time. Didn’t realize they closed at 9 and we weren’t rushed out at all. Will be back!

   Great service and great food every time! The specials pork chop was perfectly cooked. And the blue point oysters with the mignonette were amazing! Our server was attentive, answered all our questions, and made some great recommendations. Try the beignets with nutella!

    Great menu, good food. Server was so knowledgeable and efficient. Duck breast needed sauce but still good. Recommend the lobster bisque and beignets for dessert. Delish!
