My husband and I eat at this restaurant at least once a month maybe twice. Every time the food is just outstanding The service is always impeccable as well the waiters take a lot of care to make sure that you’re happy and that your service is fast. And the people watching and Sunday is never boring. The wine menu is always the biggest draw for me as well lots of nice French wines at price points that don’t gouge. the customer. Loyal fan. Always.
Julia is always gracious and welcoming!!!
Lovely outdoor lunch!
Great service and atmosphere
Wine list needs some work but overall experience was very good!
Pleasant atmosfere. Plenning going back. Could have more french options.
So much fun
B19 is back and better than ever! We had the flounder and it was cooked perfectly on a bed of couscous and grilled vegetables.
Great nite - as usual. My favorite restaurant in Houston.
Wonderful as always.
I was shocked by the service, or lack of. That’s not normal. It took a long time to even be served water and we had to ask for silver and napkins. Everything beyond that was late too. When my mom asked for a napkin the waiter made a rude remark. It was shocking. We tipped 20% because waiters need that but he should have gotten 5%. The food wasn’t up to par either. My mom is in her 70’s so a night out is rare these days, I like it to be a good experience for her.
Always the best table side service and the quality of food is still consistently delish after so many years!
Food and drink are typically solid here, but service can be hit or miss. It was a semi miss on this visit. It took a long while (almost 10 minutes) for anyone to greet us at our table despite the dining room having far less tables than it did pre COVID. Then when we were greeted, it was half hearted, not very friendly or verbose and seemed to be by an assistant manager, indicating that a lot of time had passed before he came to bring us menus. When the server finally arrived, he looked as if he wasn't sure if he should even approach us before simply asking "what did you want to drink?" After our considerable drink order, I think he warmed up, but the damage was done to me. We are always cordial when we go out considering our food and drink is being prepared out of our presence, but most servers dont understand that there are a lot of places to dine in this city and patrons look for simple hospitality and enthusiasm when visiting any establishment. That lacked at our latest trip to "19".
Everything was fabulous. At first we were being shown to a table in the sun but were accommodated to another in the shade. The service was efficient and the food was great as usual. This was the first time that our payment was taken at the table (like Mexico City) and that was even better. I was happy to see business was good.
Great space and food
Great service from Jerry ... will definitely recommend
Food was Ok. Mussels needed more broth. Small hen was dry as well and casserole used to serve it looked half empty. Lemon pound cake was dry and not enough crème on the plate. Looks like chef was given instructions to cut costs. Service by Alexander was great. Ambiance was weak due to pandemic, although other restaurants in the area are full and bustling with all their tables occupied.
Very impressed with the food and the food choices. Oysters, oysters, oysters!!
Good wine list and charcuterie / cheese board.
Fairly efficient service.
The terrace could use a better set up, and the interior is a bit too noisy.
The food was so bad and flavorless for the price.
Visiting Houston from Chicago. Great food and great service. We sat outside to eat due to Covid 19. Red ants were present outside that gave us a couple of bites. Other than that it was a great experience.
We had a great time . The food was delicious and we got our food really fast .
Very nice place, good food good service 🧡
My husband and I always look for trout almandine on a menu since it is one of our favorites. Brassiere 19 exceeded our expectation.
Amazing service by Miriam. Fantastic food and ambiance. You can’t go wrong, and their Houston Restaurant Weeks menu made it all the more worth it - even though we also ordered off the main menu.
Always a great experience!
George did an amazing job for us, great food...zest ice and atmosphere! One of the best venues in Houston
Dependably good food and service. Inside and outside service... equally good.
Everything was great. The food was delicious, the waiter was so nice and attentive. A great place to have brunch!
I Really enjoying the trout almandine however it was cooked on the half shell and the meat side of the fish faced the bottom of the plate with all the almonds on top of the skin. I felt it was not presented very well for eating if you didn’t care for the skin. Which both my husband and I do not.
Amazing food! Amazing ambiance! Amazing Service!
I like the atmosphere and service the person in charge of my table was very well aware of the food and region where it came from. Very professional worth the time
Good to be back. Food and service good as before. Always an entertaining crowd.
They made the Birthday very special!!!
A great Sunday Brunch. They are very conscientious about following all CDC rules. Everything was spotless and they were happy, helpful and concerned with not only the service but our comfort as well. Great experience and great food! Octopus was really outstanding!.
My wife and I went to Brasserie 19 for restaurant week. The place is upscale and it was fun to dress up and go out on a Saturday evening. The wait staff took a few minutes to address us after we sat down but once we ordered, things began to rock right along. The french onion soup is one of the best in town, for sure. And make sure you ask for bread and butter. I know, you're on a diet but dang...it's worth it. I also had steak, potato pave and asparagus. Amazing. Also, the warm chocolate cake with hazelnut ice cream is a must. This is a fun dining experience and we'll be back again for sure.
This is one of our definite go to places in Houston and we are never disappointed. Great food and wonderful service make for perfect meal.
Fun lunch and excellent food / drinks. The octopus was amazing
Always great food here. Loved the deviled eggs with caviar and the tuna tartare starters. Great cocktails and wine list. Can’t wait until they’re open for lunch again.
