Brasserie 19 Ratings and Reviews
I picked this place for our anniversary lunch, Adrian was our waiter, him and the rest of the staff is super friendly, we went there for lunch, had tuna tartare, onoin soup and soup du jour (it was cauliflower cream) lunch filet mignon and nicoise tuna salad all together with a bottle of Stags Leap CabSauv.
ambiance is the best, quiet, my younger son loved the oysters, will try to go back soon.
I had the Seafood salad which was wonderful, but the Green Goddess dressing left a lot to be desired. My friend had Seafood Risotto & it was an A+. Have been here before and will definitely return!!! We also had Creme Brûlée & Blueberry Bread Pudding, and both were excellent.
Slow service. Getting a glass of wine was slow. Getting our food was slow. The restaurant was hardly 25% full. My wife's salmon was quite ordinary. My grouper had been salted way too much. Our waiter was very cordial and attentive. The blueberry bread pudding was delicious. For us you are competing with the former Tony Mandola's restaurant which we went too often. It is far from the same.
Way too expensive for the experience and the food.
We went to this restaurant on NYE. We had a reservation and were sat right away. It took the waitor at least 20 minutes to come to our table and ask if we wanted something. The restaurant was not even full. Once the waitor came by he was very attentive. My steak was slightly over cooked and I received another steak within 5 minutes. The 2nd filet I received was cooked medium rare which is what I ordered.
My 3rd time here and still not sure what to order off the menu, its limited. I ordered the Fish & Chips, and they were very oily, the fish was like an oil sponge and the fries looked old. My husband ordered the Toast w/Salmon, which I ate half of given my oily fish was so horrible. The Toast w/Salmon was really good, best dish I've eaten there, but not for the price. Regardless we left hungry and a oily taste lingering in my mouth from the fish. The atmosphere and location are great, however the restaurant needs a new menu and cook.
Enjoyed our Christmas Eve dinner here. The food was excellent. I had the special menu and enjoyed every course. Others had the tuna, trout amandine and filet w/oyster and we all enjoyed our meal! Our server, Dominic was phenomenal and very attentive. He didn't miss a beat with us! Definitely recommend Brasserie 19!
I eat at this restaurant often-and I love it. Our waiter, who I think his name was Gary, drove us crazy! He talked entirely too much and he thought he was a comedian. We are there to visit with our party, not him! You can check to see who our waiter was....Sunday at 11:45 am!
We visit this restaurant once or twice a year, when we are in the area. It has never disappointed. The food has always been excellent. The service has been equally as good, except for one time when our waiter was preoccupied watching a soccer match in the back.
Very average meal and inattentive service. The mahi special entree seemed uninspired and lacked any appealing presentation I’d typically expect from an upscale restaurant. The decor is dated and the restaurant could use a modern update while keeping the European vibe. The least appealing thing is the tablet they give you to look at the cocktail list. It seemed like something you’d get at a chain restaurant. The Part and Parcel cocktail was good though. The tiny baguette was certainly smaller than anything I’d seen in France.
Overall not very impressed with the quality or value. The pear cobbler lacked flavor.
I was so looking forward to going for our Friend Christmas Luncheon. But sadly our waiter changed that feeling. We were definitely treated ambivalently. There was no enthusiasm, professionalism, and care taken in his job. We watched the other waiters and wondered how we were lucky enough to get the slowest person on the staff who obviously didn't care about our pleasure during our visit. His clothing and appearance confirmed our displeasure in our service. Our food was good but the wine list is the STAR here at this restaurant.
