What a disappointment and rip off. I had been anxiously awaiting coming here for months, to celebrate my birthday. I chose the Sunday brunch because it sounded special. I wanted to come here for the meats and I couldn't be more dissappointed. The two cuts of tasteless, bland beef they served had so much fat and gristle, they were inedible. The sausage was dry as a bone and the chicken was not only dry, it also had half cooked bacon wrapped around it to make it even less appealing. The rest of the brunch was just okay. Nothing wow, nothing to write home about. There were six of us, which included two children. The cost for the brunch was $24.95 for adults and $12.95 for children. They advertised complimentary champagne or mimosas, but failed to mention only one would be complimentary. I didn't find that out until I asked for a second one to help wash away my overwhelming disappointment. It wasn't even good champagne, as it was a sickly sweet and pink champagne. Then to add insult to injury, they tacked on an 18% gratuity. I'm a very good tipper, but this was not full service, as the majority of the food was buffet style, which I obviously served myself.
I am so sad that I chose to celebrate my birthday at this restaurant.
Good place and good meat
Way overpriced, $49, for a bunch of different cheap cuts of tough meats and an extravagant salad bar to fill you up before the meats come along. Money is better spent at a local fixed menu restaurant.
We had 2:00 reservations for a business meeting but still were not seated until 2:30. This was very disappointing, as 25% of our meeting time was spent waiting at the front of the restaurant.
Our server, once we finally did get seated, was excellent.
Brasa was amazing. The atmosphere, the service and the food were top notch. It is worth every penny. We will be back again.
First time to Brasa celebrating our Anniversary. Enjoyed the meal, and ambience. Good food!
Went to dinner to celebrate a birthday and had a wonderful experience. Looking forward to going again.
My wife and I celebrated 1 year of marriage and chose to eat at Brasa. We really loved to food and the environment. The service was great! It was a great way to spend our evening. We will definitely be back.
Usually we really like Brasa, the food is good, the service is good, and we feel like we get a lot, even if the cost is high. This time wasn't as good. They put us in the back room likely because we had two young people (9 and 10) but who were dressed for a special occasion. It was our daughter's birthday, she picked this restaurant. We told the front desk when we came. They also seated some underdressed men who appeared to be coming from a job site and wore jeans and flannel shirts and had caps on. So the not well dressed or people with children were basically shunned. There were toddlers and babies in the main dining room who clearly cause more noise or distraction. Yet, we were placed in the separate area, which we never have been before with our 10 yr old. When our waiter asked us about dessert, he did not say anything about it being a birthday and what we could choose for that. So after he told us the desserts (saying there was no menu, nor did he bring the display over that showed the desserts available) I had to ask him what do you do for birthdays? So no surprise there for our daughter. He then told us the last 4 items were all that they do for birthdays, not the better dessert options. That's fine, but I should not have had to ask. And they should have put a candle in the cake we did order. It was pretty lame all around. Will not go back for an occasion.
Restaurant needs to add more chicken items to hold selection. The mushrooms don't taste the same as before. The cold shrimp needs to be deveined😷(cleaned)
Service for meats started slow but after we asked it was fine. Otherwise everything was great !!!
This place is way overpriced. The hot and cold bar had nothing outstanding on them and all the meats brought out were dry and most were tasteless. The pineapple was really good. I liked the wine list. The bar atmosphere was much nicer than the dining room. However I did not feel i got what I paid for and we will not be going back.
Went above and beyond our expectations!!! Waiter and meat carvers made date night with my wife spectacular
Our waitress Merideith (like the college) ;) was AMAZING. she knew the wine menu like an expert. Was so friendly and so nice. I was proposed to and she made our night more memorable. 20 stars if I could rate her and the food! Cj was also very attentive and made sure when our rocks turned green we got any meat we wanted. Amazing place. Thanks again for helping make my big night one a girl never forget extra AMAZING!
The meats were very tough and dry. I think because the restaurant did not have a large crowd the meats dried out. Brazilian steak houses need a crowd to keep fresh food and that was not the case here. Very disappointed.
Speciality meats were excellent - salad bar was less than fresh - like when they have been in refrigerator with onions and peppers for a few days. Service was ernest but in desperate need of training for a 700 dinner -
We love this place and have come our last three anniversaries. Food is delicious and plentiful!
Great food and a wonderful brunch.
This was my first visit and it was an Awesome experience!!!
My husband and I went for a late Valentines Day date for Lunch. Food was AMAZING. Great Staff. Highly rec this place!
The Service was top notch. The food not so much the meats were very salty. I liked the food on the buffet. Was not really worth the money.
Food was great. Atmosphere was good. We were celebrating our daughter’s 18th birthday and she had requested to eat here. We had an awesome waitress and meat server and the food bars were always refilled in a timely manner. We enjoyed our special occasion here and will definitely do it again. Our waitress even brought Allison a free dessert that was also delicious.
This was our 3rd visit to Brasa and we will probably not return. The food was dry, especially the chicken and some of the beef. I had notified that it was a birthday celebration when I made the reservations. This was not conveyed to our server. She had to be told. Not what I expected. This may have been an off night or a new chef but none of us were impressed.
I was rather dissapointed that my Reservation #: 1082451545 was not prepared to receive my party of three. THE FLOOR WAS VISIBILY FILTHY WITH TRASH AND FOOD ALL AROUND AND UNDER OUR TABLE. I was appalled that my quest was lead to and seated at this nasty area while I parked the car. Had I been present at the seating I would have immediately demanded another table!!!!!! My other complaint is that our waitress was rather rude and not warm. Her attitude was not pleasant but yet rather snobbish. Her unpleasant attitude is not what we would expect from the restuarant, in fact it was definitley a deal breaker regarding any return visits. What saved the day was a young Male Witer approached our table and ask how we were doing and if we needed anything. I pointed out the trashy floor and he said he would take care of it. He did and right away. He brought our waitress back to our table and pointed out the trash to her. Again her attitude and nasty remark, "Oh, it's just paper" upset me. The trash was a large strip of gray tape, paper and food (not crumbs) on the floor. Thankfully this young man cleaned the trashy area restoring a better expectation of BRASA BRAZILIAN STEAKHOUSE. It is because this male waiter saw and addressed the problem that we may try this restuarant with a second visit.
My motto is : If you are not a people person, you should not be hired as a waitress!
I have only been to Brassa for lunch (once) and dinner (once) several years ago. I really enjoyed both times. This time we had an early afternoon reservation for 5 for Sunday brunch. We were seated in the far dining room. There were so many tables and chairs crammed into the room it was hard to move around. I couldn’t move my chair back without bumping into the chair behind me. I didn’t need to do that much because after going to the buffet once, I had no desire to go back. The selections for brunch were not as good as I had remembered from my previous visits. The meats they brought around were OK, not anything I would go back for. The service was good and all the servers were very nice.
Me and my husband really love Brasa , the food is very good , the service is great , we recommend it for special occasions.
Although I gave a rating of good, I was disappointed in the limited ingredients for a salad. No carrot, cucumbers, onions, or pickles. Also the meat; it was too rare. I eat my meat medium well in which we told our waiter but when the meat was cut and put on the plate, the blood started running on my plate. Some of the meat was too tough, mainly the end pieces. I would also suggest getting our side dishes either before or closer to getting our meat. Two other servers had made the comment that you can request sides to go along with our meat. Well, that was how long we was waiting for the sides to come out. It too so long that other staff members thought we didn't request any. I was a little disappointed in that but I still think this is a unique and different place to eat giving a different experience.
Brasa is always an excellent place for a date night. My wife and I had an awesome time tasting the variety of meats and appetizers on the menu. The service is always friendly and not a long time on the wait. Our waiter was very attentive and checked on us often. Would definitely recommend you make the an advanced reservation as they fill up fast.
The food and service are always great! This is a great place for any occasion!
Always an A+ experience plus outstanding service...
One of my favorite restaurants! Came here for my birthday. The cuts of meat were amazing! The salad bar was very good! The servers were very attentive. Love it. Will definitely come back!
Great place overall I would tell anyone to go here and eat and have a great time. Love this place
Food was awesome, will be going back again
Very good food! It was very crowded for Valentines day, and even though I arrived early for my reservation, I was still seated very quickly. Great offerings.
A very unique experience for a special occasion, a valine time night out.
Our Valentine’s Day dinner was disappointing, especially considering the price. The food quality and service used to be much better. Maybe this they were just having an off night. Regardless, I won’t be going back.
Hadn’t been there in years so thought I’d give it a try. Food quality has really done down. Tough unseasoned meat. Not a lot of choices. Not a lot of salad bar variety either. No more Brazilian cheese rolls either. Big disappointment. Especially at $55 per person.
We had a wonderful experience! Everything was perfect!
5 Star all the way great place to take a date. Noise level low so great place to have a conversation over dinner. Service only got a 4 because I had to remind the staff twice about dessert. Still one of my favorites in the Raleigh/Durham area. I lives hour away and it’s worth the drive every time.
