Brant Point Grill at the White Elephant Ratings and Reviews
We went their on the Nantucket Christmas stroll weekend which is basically the last weekend of the season . That being said the restruant was not too crowded at the the time we sat down so I do not understand why the service was so lacking. The menu was sparse but I attribute that to the end of season. The location is great and we had a great view of the harbor from the heated terrace. As we come here yearly and this was our worst experience we would likely give it another try next season hopefully we experience better service.
We have been to Brant Point in the past and loved it but, this time, everything was off. Our server was wonderful and tried to make everything better for us..The soup, while delicious, came out lukewarm and even when it was sent back, not much better..It was a very limited menu since it was the Christmas stroll weekend, so we assumed all of the choices would be outstanding but we left underwhelmed..We were celebrating a birthday and they did bring out a bottle of proscecco as a comp for our disappointment..There were 8 of us so it was just a little taste and nothing else was done to accommodate us..With all of this said, I think we will still go back in season and give it another try..
Great resort, first class service, wonderful ambiance, nice menu which offers something for everyone.
Major kudos to both Bob the manager and to Aphneal our server who went above and beyond to make my wife’s birthday and anniversary such a special evening from champagne to dessert. These gentlemen could not do enough without being intrusive throughout the entire evening.
Would highly recommend this restaurant and if your lucky, you’ll have the opportunity to make both Bob and Aphneal make your spevial occasion oh so memorable.
My husband and I dined here for our anniversary and it was wonderful. The staff was courteous, friendly, and accommodating. The food was delicious! My filet practically melted in my mouth. I also loved the deck seating with the heat lights above. Even with the cool breeze coming off the water, we were nice and warm with a gorgeous view of the harbor. We would definitely go back again!
Good restaurant. Unfortunately, it was a rainy night so we did not get a view of the pretty outside. A lot of noise since there was a party behind closed drapes next store and there were toddlers running around the chairs. No wine that fit our liking but the cocktails were nice. Went with the prefixed dinner and enjoyed the soup and loved the banana bread pudding.
We live on Nantucket and actually haven't been to brunch at the Brant Point Grill for quite some time. I must say, it was absolutely fabulous. Such great selections and the service was very good. The only negative was that our table was missing items from two place settings which were provided upon request. Can't beat the view of Nantucket Harbor
The food was awesome and delicious!!! Very diissapointed with the service. It was a slow Sunday night, few tables occupied and enough waiters. Service was slow and even slower at end when empty plates sat at table for 15 minutes and then another 7-10 minutes to get the check.
Located at the beautiful elephant inn - this is a great restaurant with wonderful service and view. However the food is only ok - no wow factor as with the price. I had the striped bass special for the evening which is fillet with a tomato sauce. My stomach was queasy for 2 days after this meal. We
- We return every year, not because the food is outstanding (it's very good, for sure, but not the best that I've ever had), but because everything else checks the box - great service, views, ambiance and a menu that offers something for everyone - including a decent kids' menu.
We've waten here many times over the last four years and this was another wonderful meal! Our seafood and steak orders were perfect. I could sit and stare at the gorgeous view all evening! My only remorse is that we were not staying overnight at the White Elephant so eventually our evening came to an end.
Children's choices are on point. My 3 loved their meal. The adult menu is limited in choices, especially if you don't want lobster or beef.
Our waitress was exceptional, as were the rest of the staff.
We have come here yearly as an end of vacation celebration of our extended family, but I feel this year will be our last, due to limited menu choices.
