Brando's was founded on the premise of great food made from quality ingredients, excellent service, and a warm atmosphere which we believe are the three elements of any enjoyable dining experience.

The chef/owner, Steven Botta, grew up in Brooklyn and learned many of recipes used at Brando's from his mother. Raised in this welcoming tradition, he believes when you enter Brando's, whether its your first time or your one hundredth time, you should always feel like they are dining with family.

Soulful Italian is the best way to describe our menu. Our culinary team has been trained at the finest culinary schools, and has over fifty years of combined experience. From our fresh pasta, to our line-caught fish, to our thirty-five day dry-aged steaks, the difference is discernible

As Shore residents always searching for upscale dining, we truly enjoyed our experience at Brando's. We would recommend it to others and look forward to getting a spot at the bar for an evening meal.

Since the moment we walked into Brando’s we were greeted with a warm welcome by the hostess. We mentioned we had a reservation and they immediately seated us. The helpers immediately poured us water and brought us bread. The waiter then introduced himself and mentioned all the specials and took out drink orders. My wife had the Chicken Francaise that had such a wonderful taste especially with an amazing risotto ball to pair with it. I had the Seafood Fra Diavolo that had an amazing taste and the seafood that it contained was absolutely amazing. The whole dish had a great flavor to it that even though I got full I still wanted more. After our entrees we decided to look at the dessert menu and the Italian Cheesecake for two is what caught our eyes. It’s not your usual cheesecake that’s typically made with cream cheese this one had a ricotta filling that was too die for. Overall I would recommend Brando’s to anyone that wants a special place for that special occasion. My wife and I will definitely be coming back. Keep up the great work!

We went for Valentine's Day when you typically can not adjust from the menu. We were able to substitute veal instead of chicken without any problem.
Abraham was a terrific waiter. Can't wait to go back

Walking into Brando's was very much entering a different world from that of Main Street, Asbury Park. Brando's has the look and feel of a New York Italian steakhouse. Warm and inviting. Appetizers through dessert the food was prepared with skill and professional presentation. The entire experience made a return visit a priority.

Delicious from start to finish ! Thoroughly enjoyed grilled octopus appetizer . Husband had pork chop and said it was the best he ever had. I had the seafood stew , plentiful and tasty. Can’t wait for return visit.

Great experience!! This is the 2nd time i have been here for a special occasion and by far i am impressed. We ordered the sunday pasta special, the white truffle brick oven pizza and the veal. All great!!

The food here is delicious!! The only thing that stinks is parking although on Saturday nights there is valet parking. Great place!

The waiter was very pleasant and helpful when my date couldn’t figure out what to get for dinner. The meal came quickly and was delicious. The noise level was a little high .

Took my husband here for his birthday. I’d indicated it was a special occasion/birthday when I reserved. We were seated on time. Enjoyed a fabulous cocktail each. Our appetizers were specials, grilled octopus and lobster salad with bursts. Amazing! My husband had the veal chop Milanese which he loved. I had the pappardelle Toscana, with shrimp and scallops which were super spicy. We shared the pistachio ice cream cream cake and zabaglione desserts. Both special. Love the service and the atmosphere too.

We love Brando’s for atmosphere and ambience. Beet salad and Ceasar salad were delicious. Broccoli rabe and sausage pasta was incredible! gnocchi three ways, flavorless, gloppy and boring.

Our first time here. Very nice place, service was excellent. Not impressed with food, my pasta very salty and sausage pocket appetizer was over done and boring.

We were greeting immediately and seated without having to wait for our whole party which was a plus. Our waiter started off good but as the night when on he kind of forgot about us. He would come by the table and take away an empty drink glass and never ask if we would like another drink. The food was mediocre at best. We had an order of the baked clams casino which were so tiny they barely fit on half the plate. They tasted ok but weren’t hot.
For the entree, I ordered the veal chop parmigiana which was tasty but also not hot just warm. My sister ordered the Sunday gravy over pasta but the pasta was undercooked by at least 3 minuets to even be called al dente. My husband ordered a pasta dish with fresh seafood that was so loaded with garlic that he couldn’t even finish it.
For the price I think we should have walked away more satisfied. Overall it was just OK.
