The chef/owner, Steven Botta, grew up in Brooklyn and learned many of recipes used at Brando's from his mother. Raised in this welcoming tradition, he believes when you enter Brando's, whether its your first time or your one hundredth time, you should always feel like they are dining with family.

I celebrated my anniversary Last night (Tuesday night) and everything was amazing. When we first walked in the friendly host who I believe was the manager aswell greeted us and wished us a happy anniversary and showed us to our table which had rose peddles on it. We were greeted right away and shown the extensive wine/cocktail menu. Our server don was friendly, professional and attentive. The food and ambience was superb and the home made pistachio desert was the best I ever had . Definatly will be coming back
Brando’s never disappoints. Staff is excellent and the food is superb!
We went on a Saturday night at 6PM- somewhat noisy crowd at bar and tables. No yelling just conversations. After taking our order, the waitress mentioned that because the food was prepared fresh and the kitchen was backed up there might be a wait. We had ordered a bottle of wine and didn't mind waiting. Food came much faster than I expected. It was delicious!! From entree to dessert everything was outstanding. It is a bit expensive but you get what you pay for. The worse thing about going to Brando's is finding nearby parking.

This is fantastic place to either enjoy a great dinner or business meeting dinner. It got everything you could want. Wine list is wonderful and selection of Entrées is all across the spectrum!

I frequent Brandos quite often and love their food. Unfortunately, tonight, Valentines Day, was a HUGE let down. This streak pictured, was a $110 "Dry Aged" Porterhouse. I asked for it to be medium and specifically told our waitress to make sure it was medium. The steak we received was rare. I normally wouldn't mind, as I typically enjoy my streaks cooked medium rare, however, my fiancé at 1 Piece of the filet side which was cooked to a medium temp. Also, the strake has no flavors of the dry-aging process which made me wonder if the steaks were aged at all. I've eaten at some of the best steakhouse in the world, so I can taste the notes of a dry aged steak.
When the manager came by and asked how everything was, I told her we were unsatisfied with the temperature of the steak, she responded by saying that the kitchen would normally remake it if we told our waitress, which we did, and she kept it moving.
Also, I had a special request on our reservation which I made 2 months ago which was not acknowledged by the staff.
$200 later and a hungry fiancé we paid our check and left. We now have mixed feelings about Brando's. Prior to this visit we absolutely loved everything about Brando's and would frequent at least once if not twice a month. The value of tonight's dinner was terrible and the quality of the food and service we received was sub par to say the least. I wish management would have stepped in and offered to remake the steak.
Amazing as usual. It’s are go to spot for special occasions and date night. This was a fourth year in a row for Valentines Day.

So amazing! Delicious as always. Went for 20th Anniversary, Hostess decorated table so sweetly and they brought an adorable anniversary dessert to surprise us! So great!

The food and service was outstanding. Definitely recommend this restaurant. However, it is on the pricier side, but priced appropriately and fairly for the exceptional level of food and service provided.
We love Brandos and believe I've written a review before. The service is great, the food is served hot and delicious and the atmosphere is just right. We usually order the Veal chop parmigiana...amazing. They always have delicious specials and choices for those who prefer steaks, fish or pasta. The only constructive criticism I could give is to have the bar use Luxardo cherries rather than the bright red ones. Luxardo = quality. Tks :) Lastly I think you may want to make an exception for men wearing hats (not baseball caps) Some men who are bald need their hat to keep warm.

We went there for my 40th birthday. We were seated at the table which had birthday confetti on it. We ordered cocktails and the octopus. Whenever the octopus is available at Brando’s, you MUST order it - phenomenal! We each ordered something different for dinner and I had the lobster arrabbiata. I loved it. The flavors were wonderful. My brother had a pork chop that was almost larger than the plate. Brando’s is never a disappointment.

Always have excellent food and service. Never had a bad meal here and I go often. Filet mignon appetizer is a special on weekends and is great, pistachio ice cream is a must! Make reservations it's well worth it!
