The chef/owner, Steven Botta, grew up in Brooklyn and learned many of recipes used at Brando's from his mother. Raised in this welcoming tradition, he believes when you enter Brando's, whether its your first time or your one hundredth time, you should always feel like they are dining with family.

It's both cozy and classic interior, nice ambiance, perfect music background, not too loud, acoustics overall hide the chatter of others that you feel alive in your own environment even in a full restaurant. Service is excellent. Seafood was incredible, delicious scallops, grilled Mahi Mahi, and absolutely incredible brownie, served a la mode, thin brownie and with a slight crust but warm and the texture was just right. Sweet but not overly sweet. Blood Orange martini was great, good wine selection. The only reason it's 4 stars for food is because pistachio risotto was not great, texture was off, it was probably undercooked, a bit runny, and rice in other Mahi-mahi entree was also not good at all. Deep fried avocado was great. I liked that the crowd overall was also diverse. I will come back because main key points of a great restaurant are there.

The dining experience at Brandos never disappoints. Enjoyed our favorites, grilled octopus, meatballs & Caesar salad then continued on with a delicious tomahawk steak & stuffed bronzino…wow just delicious! Service was stellar as well. Can’t forget the yummy zeppolis😋
This restaurant was unbelievable. The service was fantastic, and our waiter was incredibly informed about the entire menu. We asked for plenty of recommendations and he steered us in exactly the right direction! I will 100% be returning again.
The Brando’s staff, from the moment we arrived went above and beyond. It was my fiancés birthday, so they put little confetti on our table which was adorable. Our waiter was so nice and funny, definitely a plus. He brought out a free dessert for us, and everything we had from beginning to end, including the bread and the spread that came with it was incredible.

Beautifully decorated, quiet for a Tuesday night, excellent service, food was beyond superb, servings are generous also. It was my birthday and the table had sparkly Happy Birthday confetti, what a thoughtful touch!!
Food and wine as well as service are always outstanding . Noise level is up there. Gotta work on the acoustics but they have the rest of it bringing us back.
We were happy with all of our meals including eggplant tower, spaghetti with seafood, pork chop Brando’s , chicken scarpiella and branzino. My friend wanted a sub for her fish dish from beans to greens and she got what she wanted. Wine was decanted, a nice touch.
This was the first time at Brando’s for me and my husband. The friends we were with recommended it as their favorite, and we all really enjoyed the evening. The food was really great. We started with.Calamari for the table and it was tender with a light batter, and not at all greasy. I am eating my leftover bolognese (next day) and it’s still so fabulous and very meaty. The pasta was al dente last night and still holds up after re-heating. My husband’s entrée was a veal dish with mushrooms topped with frizzled potatoes -so flavorful, lean and tender. No leftovers for him, cleaned his plate.
Service was great, too. We shared a salad and they split it in the kitchen for us, which I always appreciate- you’d be surprised how may places won’t do that. Plates were cleared as soon as a course was done. For dessert, I had the famous pistachio ice cream cake - but maybe I didn’t read the fine print, because it wasn’t cake at all, but only ice cream with a lovely topping and thin crust. It was still so yummy. My companions are very fond of the brownies and tiramisu, all great choices.
My only complaints, and they are minor, is the tight table spacing, which surrounded us with large parties of 6-8, and consequently, the noise level, which made it hard sometimes to hear our companions.
But that won’t deter us from returning. So much more on the extensive menu we need to try!
Birthday Dinner and celebration!

Always good. Use to go more frequently but haven’t been there since 2019 before going last night. Veal parm is excellent, atmosphere is calm and welcoming, tiramisu was out of this world. Highly recommend
Food was delicious. Was turned off by the fact that a note was placed on the table stating that our table had another reservation at 8:00. The food was brought out very quickly. We just finishes our appetizers and our main dish came out immediately after. Over $200 and we were out of the restaurant in one hour. This level if dining should not be rushed. On another note, the waitress was fabulous and the ambiance was great
One of the first dates my wife and I went out on after our daughter was born. Food was phenomenal and the menu is great. There is something for all, simple Italian dishes, more fancy dishes, and some chef specialties. We were in the dining room. The bar in the front looked pretty fun. We are planning on giving it a try for a happy hour date in the future
Everything is always exceptional. Food it perfectly prepared and timed nicely between apps, main course, dessert. This continues to be our “go to” for entertaining.
I was pleasantly surprised! Upon arrival at out table it was decorated with Birthday confetti. Such a nice touch. The one and only complaint we had was with the cesear salad. TOO DRY!

Brando's is my go to restaurant when looking for more than the repetitive offerings currently found on many local menu's. The stuffed veal chop can not be beat.

We went for two of our birthdays. Chilean Sea Bass was excellent! So was beet salad, octopus, fried zucchini and veal parmigiana. Cheese cake for desert delicious! Service perfect . Noise level way too high!
