What an amazing experience! Great food and impeccable service!! The restaurant shuttered on Wed, May 10th after 9 amazing years! Kudos to the team for making it a great destination for so many years...
steak superb-------------------------------------------------------
Me and my wife dined here on May 1st and celebrated my birthday.
She had the pre fix menu with the Filet minot and we both shared the calamari and also the cheesecake dessert at the end and both was probably the best we've had.
I ordered the Ribeye and it was cooked right and tasted very good.
We had Brian as our server and he knew the menu like the back of his hand, details on everything, answered all questions perfectly!
Food was really good and priced as it should.
I would recommend this place for special occasions.
We always visit Brand when we visit Vegas. Unfortunately they are closing in a week. We will miss it. The service is great. It was a hidden gem in Vegas. Sorry to see it go
The variety of cuts not so common today
Especially the porterhouse for six!
We all should try.
Lobster nice and fresh
Food was amazing for the price! Great quality overall
Let me start by stating that our server was great and the decor was nice. My partner and I frequent Vegas multiple times a year. Brand was one of the places we would walk by all the time and finally decided to try it. We were craving steak and Brand popped into our heads. Unfortunately this was not a memorable experience. Both of our steaks seemed to be pre-cooked, dry and tasteless. We were simply disappointed after high hopes.
The food was really good and the service: excelent! Very good choice.
Our meal was delicious from the cesear salad, appetizers, main meal to dessert! Our steaks were exquisite!
The level of food quality was fine, it was in preparation that was lacking. The executive of excellence wasn't there. The lobster was tuff and tail curled and texture wasn't appealing. The steak was cooked to my liking, but lacked in flavor and seasoning. For 189.00 I expected alot more.
We came for a birthday dinner and were seated promptly for our party of 19. Our waiter was amazing! It took a while for drinks but the overall service was excellent! The meals were mediocre for the price and I wish the "hot rocks" came with more slices of meat. It was delicious but hard to share as an appetizer.
The service was great. I got the T-Bone steak and it was good, but not great. My server was excellent. She was expecting but gave us great service. My biggest complaint is seating. We had a table for two and we were literally right next to another couple. Our table was so small, when they brought the steak along with our three sides, they had to bring another table for us and connect them. Me and my date had to laugh. The bathroom was a little unkept, but very modern. Overall, I thought the Brand was ok, not sure if I'll be visiting again. Oh, the rolls were fantastic!!
My husband was in Vegas celebrating 28 years of marriage. We decided to dine here and it was a marvelous spot. Our waitress was very nice and even took our picture for a memory. Thanks for the great experience and food.
In our quest to try as many steakhouses Brand is now on the top of our list in our top 5. The best part was our Server Brian. You really need to ask for him, his knowledge of all the meals and the preparation process is incredible. We recommend the ribeye which is very good and the crab cakes which are the best in town.
I have been a regular yearly customer for almost 20 years. This year for the first time it just seemed to me that the standards have been lowered. The steak was good but smaller, we always get the tomahawk rib eye. The sides were small. No lobster bisque. The price for two of us was $241.00. I think my long lasting custom of dining with my buddy at the Brand may have come to an end. Best wishes.
No complaints. The steaks were perfectly cooked and delicious. Small wine selection but the cocktails were very well made. A quality steakhouse, we will definitely return.
The food was better than expected and the service staff did a nice job taking care of us.
Service was not good and neither was the food. We waited and waited for our server from the get go and then numerous mistakes were made throughout the meal. The food quality wasn't good either. Steaks were mediocre at best. The GM got involved and reduced our bill to accommodate us at the end. For the price, there are many other steakhouses in Vegas to consider.
Service and food was excellent
My group of three reserved a quiet table prior to a Classic Cher performance last Saturday night. Our 2nd server was Randall. After introducing himself, the menu, and asking if we had time restrictions, our first server seemed to get reassigned to the large group in the private room. He returned later to ask how we were doing but we had moved on to Randall, who seemed more relaxed with us than our first waiter. Randall was accommodating, courteous, helpful, professional and very pleasant. As for the food, all dishes were delicious. My companions had the pork chop and short ribs. The sides including the $14 extra of a dressed baked potato were delicious. I had the filet mignon which was the tastiest piece of beef I might ever have had. However, there were bits of unchewable gristle that I had to spit out. The dessert of coffee mousse bite and chocolate ganache cake was spectacular. With a tip of $50, our total came to $300 for the three of us. Dessert was gratis for our friend's birthday. We each had a glass of wine. My companions had salads and I had roasted vegetables which were honey-glazed carrots. The negative to my review is there was no quiet place to sit. We were in a booth way in the back and per the first waiter, the music volume could not be turned down. We were directly under a speaker but in the booth next to us, the volume was nearly as loud. In summation, the food was excellent and the service was almost excellent. For the price you pay, the ambience was not what you would want if you were dining outside of a casino. From where we sat, the noise from the casino was fine. The problem was the volume of the music. I prefer hearing conversation of those with whom I am dining. Unfortunately for diners like me, having loudness in a dining room of this caliber of a restaurant seems to be the new norm. I dine regularly in the SF Bay Area and I consider myself pretty knowledgable as to what to expect for this kind of experience.
Aside from our waitress and the manager attempting to 'make it right,' our experience was HORRIBLE! Out of ALL the restaurants we could have eaten at in Vegas, we chose Brand Steakhouse. BIG MISTAKE! According to the reviews, it was given 4-4.5 stars and it was perfect for convenience prior to the Cher Concert at the Park Theater. The service was slow, the appetizers were slow and the salads were brought out at the same time as the meals. I also did NOT appreciate the waiters reaching across the table whilst serving. We all ordered Steak, medium well. All were undercooked to the point of being rare to medium rare. My girlfriend sent hers back twice and it still wasn't cooked properly! The baked potatoes were hard and cold. The food was NOT CHEAP and our meals were totally unacceptable! We appreciated the manager taking care of our bill, but this could not fix the disappointment of our last night in Las Vegas. We hope the kitchen staff was having an 'off night,' but please consider this review prior to eating at Brand.
My husband and I have eaten at Brand a few times over the years, and in the past we were happy with the food quality and service. This time however, we were disappointed. I ordered the French onion soup and filet mignon. My husband ordered the wedge salad and the New York. We shared an order of gratin potatoes and scallops (special plate for the evening). My soup came out Luke warm, which meant the cheese on top wasn't melt-y enough. When I stuck my spoon in the bowl it moved the cheese in one solid-ish state. So I asked that my soup be warmed up, they took it away and brought it back much warmer. My husband wasn't thrilled with his salad, but it was ok. Next they brought our steak, scallops and potatoes. The steaks were cooked perfectly, just as we'd requested. However, my filet was so smoky that it completely overpowered the meat. My filet was 8oz and I probably ate half. My husband's New York was no better, but instead of being smoky, his was chewy - almost grissely. It was not a pleasing texture. The potatoes we shared were altogether terrible. The sauce was extremely thin and runny, almost flavorless, and the potatoes weren't cooked quite long enough. I will say that the scallops were prepared perfectly - delicious flavor and perfectly cooked. I don't think that redeems a $300 meal, but I think it's important to mention it wasn't all bad. The waiter was a nice enough guy, but he spilled our sparkling water upon pouring it, twice, and only bothered to attempt cleaning it up the second time. At the end of our meal we sat for a long time, not eating, and not receiving our bill. It wasn't what I'd call attentive service, and I do expect that at the price point Brand is asking. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this restaurant and I won't be visiting it again in the future.
The food is excellent! They really know how to make a delicious meal. One of my favorite places! If you are in Vegas and want to go to a nice dinner, I highly recommend Brand!
Great spot right in the Monte Carlo! Service is helpful and not intrusive. A decent variety in choices on the menu and well prepared.
The apetizers were delicious and the entrees were excellent. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable of the food wine and desserts (menu). I would definitely recommend this restaurant to those who crave a fine dining experience.
Brand Steakhouse has "Date Night" ambiance with lovely service to boot. We began with red wine suggestion by our server. For starters we ordered UNFORGETTABLE LOLLIPOP WINGS: served with their Signature Sauce, Blue Cheese, Carrot & Celery Sticks. We wished we could have ordered a trough of these they were so good. Our server alerted us that these are also served in the bar for happy hour at half the cost!
For entrees we ordered the CABERNET BRAISED SHORT RIB served with Whipped Potato Purée and also Pickled BONE IN NEW YORK* 14 oz, 28 Day Dry Aged. My short ribs stole the show.
I'd return here again and also many times for the lollipop wings.
Wonderful food, our only complaint besides the cost was it took 45 mins to bring drinks to the table.
The steaks were really tough. The steaks came out over cooked. The 40 oz porterhouse was cold ... I would not go back ...
Ribeye was very good. A little pricey at $57. The baked potato was a complete rip off at $14. Avoid that!
My daughter and I had accompanied my husband to Las Vegas for the CES and since my daughter loved the hot rock special appetizer so much we dined here twice during our short stay. Also the burrata was excellent!
Our waitress Christy was especially nice to our daughter and we had a great time.
We will defenetly be back.
Brand was awesome! NYE special dinner and a milestone birthday party as well. service was spot on! Food was great! i did feel it was a little pricey. Dinner for 2 with only 3 cocktails was $500 including a healthy tip. Ouch! But it was NYE & our service was so great it took away the sting of the price a little. I would go back again for dinner or even take advantage of a happy hour special offer they had.
Bit over priced! Further, $35 for corking fee?!?!
I cant even begin to tell you how bad the service was, Items forgot to bring to table, The manager is a Joke, not sure how he has a job, after I spoke to him about the issues, he shrugged his shoulders and could of cared less, Slow Service, very very unorganized , The Steak itself was Very good, thats the only positive, I wouldnt go back
It took 45 minutes after being seated to have two martini's delivered.
The temperature of all food was tepid.
The steak was tender and cooked as requested, but had no flavor.
The sides were overpriced and undersided and had no flavor.
I did not order dessert because we had already spent two hours at the table when we finished our main course.
I asked our waitress if the restaurant was understaffed that particular night and she said no. Therefore there was no excuse for the extensive delay in service and temperature of the food.
This restaurant should not be allowed to call itself a steak house.
We had a reservation on Sat the 24th. Everything was excellent.
We had a reservation for 6:30 but did not get seated until 7pm. We ordered immediately because we had show tickets at 8pm. Our food finally arrived around 7:35pm. We sent back the French onion soup bacause it tasted bad. The one chicken dish was good but my filet was over cooked and dry. Our server was nice and apologetic but was surprised that they offered nothing for the late seating.
Great service, great food and an overall awesome ambience, it's why we eat here every time we're in Vegas
Service was phenomenal, Maître D and waiters were very personable and really made my visit worth my time. They went out of their way to make sure I had an exceptional experience although the food was "ahhh...ok." Of course that was only for the appetizers as I was already full from a late lunch NYNY Tom's Urban
Brand has a great tomahawk ribeye and some of the best mac and cheese in the world. Brand is a great place to eat that is not too fancy, yet classy. Don't forget the lemon pie, it is off the hook.
Great service and staff is very friendly and helpful. Great hang out bar as well with friendly bartenders.
