Server was not very informative. Had to remind her to tell us about specials.
She had no idea about wine.
Nose level was horrible. Very noisy
We had a $10 reward and server did not know how to do it and had to go get manager. Manager said she had never did one before. We told her instructions were on the bottom of reward.
The food was excellent! Love the brussel sprouts and crab dip appetizer! Salmon was very good too!
We were fortunate to get a reservation only a few hours before we arrived at Branchwater. We like the menu because there are great dishes that are quiet different from the restaurants in our area. The red snapper was very good as were my scallops. Our son got the beer cheese pretzel, and I could have made my entire meal with it! Delicious! We will definitely go back.
We visited on Mother's day and did not know it was a buffet only. The buffet was not kept well stocked, selection was poor and the food was cold. We were very disappointed.
We were a little disappointed that there was a buffet ( which we did not know about) and no other options. We didn't know the price until we got the bill and my kids ate about two bites so we would have just not ordered for them.
Food was great as usual. Crowd in on this evening was super loud and the front room’s structure amplifies all the noise. Our server was nice but not extremely efficient.
Good meal. Took a while to get food as they were busy but service and food were good
We were slowed down by traffic and figuring out where to park so we were 15 minutes late. As a result they cancelled our reservation and told us we only had the option to sit outside. This turned out really well as the noise level was not as high outside as it was inside and the temperature outside suited us all more than inside. Well worth the trip. Enjoyable and delicious.
Food, service was amazing. Will definitely be back.
First time visiting Branchwater. Food was delicious! I had the beef tenderloin. Our server, Grant, was phenomenal. We’ll definitely be back.
This was the second time I have eaten at Branchwater. The brussel sprouts are amazing! I would have them as my entree - so good! We all enjoyed our food and had a great time.
Excellent food, served beautifully. I enjoyed the sea bass and my husband the scallops. Servings were plentiful and nicely presented. Pricing was what you expect for excellent food and service.
Food was very good, nice to sit outside. Beautiful restaurant. Recommend.
Was not busy at 6:30.. service was slow.. took 2 hours to eat from the time we sat down. Food was decent but way overpriced. I got a 14oz New York strip and it came with small side of mashed potatoes and veggies and was $35. Plating of food was sloppy for the price.
Setting is nice but wont be going back
I made reservations through OpenTable and indicated that it was a special occasion, celebrating a birthday. We arrived 10 minutes early and were seated in the first large room to the left at a booth. The booth tables were set at an uncomfortable height so we asked to move to a table. There were 2 other occupied tables in the room and the hostess said they all were taken. Keep in mind we had reservations too! After our server came by, we asked her if we could move to a table and she checked with the hostess and she directed us to a new table. The food was expensive but the salmon and Brussel sprouts were very good. I had a birthday card and present on the table but the waitress never asked if we were celebrating. Not even a "happy birthday, thanks for celebrating with us" - disappointing. So overall, very expensive, very loud, very tasty but not very friendly.
It was our anniversary. Since they asked when I made reservations if it was a special occasion, I was thinking we would be offered complimentary dessert or something. Not a big deal, loved the restaurant!
From the moment we walked in we were greeted by the hostess. She was lovely and informed us that she was training but would try to take care of us the best she could. Upon being seated our server, Wendy approached the table in a friendly manner. She was attentive but not overly attentive. She paid attention to when we needed refills, etc. Our food came out timely & all at the same time! A miracle for most restaurants these days. The food was also nice & warm. Thank you!
I enjoyed the Pecan crusted unicorn fish, wish asparagus & golden mashed potatoes. It was delicious. Not one complaint from anyone at our table.
Do yourself a favor and try Branchwater.
Excellent food and presentation.
Would highly recommend.
I was disappointed that dessert had no birthday decor as I had requested beforehand for a 84 th bday dinner. Minor flaw; but, was requested at time of makingreservation
Fabulous food, as always! Chef Todd and his staff are always friendly and happy to accommodate any request. Love our evenings at Branchwater!
Great service and atmosphere. Very accommodating to dietary needs :) will be going back for sure!
Fabulous food, great service, enjoyed by all!
Excellent Experience, highly recommend trying
Great food and service! Jackie was superb and helped with recommendations. I'll definitely return.
Great service and food.
Great evening. We sat in the patio and the weather was great, along with the food. Service was slow and the server seemed a bit overwhelmed. Nice kid though -
The neighborhood place to go with the best food in Cumming!
We went for a 5pm dinner for early baby bedtime. It was quiet, great service, great food.
Service was slow and they were not busy, plus the salad entree was average at best
I had beef short rib with beans and smoked Gouda Mac n cheese. Everything was perfect !!
The food, as always, was delicious! I have never had a bad meal here and highly recommend this restaurant.
First time visit and will be back. Food was very good. I had the porkchop and it was fantastic.
Others had the Scallops and said they were awesome. Dont forget the Pineapple upside down cake.....
This is priced above everyday fining choices. $30-40 beef choices priced me out of the market. settled for a hamburger for me and salmon for my wife. Both unremarkable
We have eaten at Branchwater many times and always enjoy the food. This time there were a few negatives. The first was a very loud table next to us that made it difficult for us to talk. We ordered our meals. Two of us had the salmon and asked what we could substitute for the mashed potatoes and asparagus. From the numerous choices we chose the sweet potato hash. My husband had the filet and substituted the asparagus with green beans . He got a whole side of green beans. We were all charged extra but he didn’t want to argue it. (Even tho he should have). There shouldn’t have been any charges but if so should be explained.
Our experience at Branchwater was an overall disappointment. Had the charcuterie board with seemed like pork belly (good) and a random cold cut from the grocery store (flavorless). My wife had a NY Strip steak which was 33% fat. Have had similar tasting NY Strips at chain steakhouses with less fat for half the price. My BBQ short rib was somewhat overcooked and tasteless.
The server didn't seem to know much about the menu and had to go back to her notes for specials, etc. Not that anything was terrible, but for $120 for 2 diners, one would expect better food and service for the price.
The noise level is so bad there's no way you can enjoy your meal. Seems as though neighbors were gathering to catch up instead of dining. Many were moving from table to table to talk. Very, very loud no matter where you sit. We asked our waiter about the noise and he said it's always like that. We won't return.
Food was very good and the server Alli was excellent.
The service and food were very good. We were sat at a booth in the bar area so the noise was quite loud but we had a really good experience and will definitely be back soon. We are looking forward to trying more items from the menu.
We had a such a nice night out at branchwater. We haven’t had an adult night out in a while and wanted to try something new and we are so glad we did! The waitress was wonderful the food was some of the best we have had since moving down to GA from NY and the price for our dinner was not crazy at all! We loved the Brussels sprout appetizer, I had the chicken cutlet and my husband had the pork chop and they were all cooked to perfection. We also had drinks, and old fashioned and a strawberry fizz which were delicious and we shared the bread pudding dessert which was great! To get all this for under $100 and be the quality it was we will definitely be back next date night we get out to!
Great environment with friendly employees and service. The atmosphere was perfect as well. Great food that is moderately and well priced!
