Loved the food..it was excellent and the variety of menu items was great too! Our waiter was awesome. We will definitely be back again.
Very pleasant. We sat outside and enjoyed the band on the lawn. Drinks were good. Goat cheese appetizer was a bit disappointing, as there was a only a tiny blob of goat cheese for approx. 10 triangles of pita. (I am a goat cheese fanatic and had asked the server for extra.) Brussels sprouts appetizer was absolutely delicious. My son and I polished off the whole plate! We both had steaks for our entrees, which were pretty bland. The peppercorn sauce didn’t have much flavor either. An au poivre would be a good addition to the menu. Service was terrific, as always.
First time there. My wife and I had a wonderful experience. Food was great. Service was great.
Wonderful as always!
At the recommendation of a surgeon, I ordered the pork chop. It was very fatty. A poor cut ; will not order it again. Otherwise, the food was okay.
My daughter (50+) ordered chicken, but left half of it. I don't know if she liked it or not.
The next question was: would I recommend Branchwater? I never recommend any product, restaurant, etc. , even if it was outstanding. The surgeon's recommendation is a good example.
We enjoyed the food and the service. You never disappoint. All though, I would have loved sea bass!!
We sat outside for our dinner. It was nice, except for the bees! Can't help those, I know, but it was disconcerting.
We were provided with a complimentary appetizer of the Brussel sprouts, which were very tasty! We ordered the burgers, which we thought were good. The "special" ketchup was good but reminded me of cocktail sauce.
Service was good.
We thought the prices were kind of high for a burger, but that's just us.
Dining room needs some rugs or wall coverings - way to Loud in the dining room /.
Food was great
Entrees were way too bland. Risotto served with scallops had a metallic flavor that made it nearly inedible. My biggest gripe though was with the seating. We had an early reservation and asked to sit outside. Hostess said all outside tables were spoken for, although there was only one occupied when we arrived. Hostess then wanted to seat us at a table next to two loud groups when other sections of restaurant were nearly empty. We had to ask to be seated in a quieter section. And when we left, nearly all of the outside tables were still empty. Very annoying. Needless to say we will not be going back to this restaurant.
Always great food and service!
Always an amazing meal with great service. Thank you.
Fantastic food, wonderful service. Great people. Great bar.
Service was slow. Our drinks were empty and waited a long time to get a refill. The ahi tuna was horrible very fibrous and the hoisin slaw was too spicy.
Very disappointed as we have always thought of Branchwater as our Special occasion restaurant.
Our server, Angel, was very helpful and cognizant of our needs for this family birthday celebration and did not rush us at all. We all enjoyed our entrees from brisket, chicken cutlets, colossal shrimp, grouper and the branchwater burger. Seating was perfect and a spot we had before. The fans of brussels sprouts in the family said theirs were the best they've ever had. Enjoyed lemon drop martinis, wine and nice to find Tropicalia on tap. Overall a great evening.
Great experience. Food was awesome and staff was very friendly and accommodating.
We have been to this restaurant a few times over the last few years, but this was by far the best. The food has always been good, but it was outstanding tonight. Service was very good, our corner booth was good. The only detractor was the live music, but compared to most places it was better. Most of the time it's so loud you can't converse well. This time we were far enough away it wasn't an issue.
I have been to Branchwater multiple times, and it has always been great. Last night, it was not a good experience at all. I had a reservation and had to wait. We were seated for a while before anyone took our drink order. There was a table of folks that were so loud and obnoxious that it was hard to enjoy our meal. We said something, but no one at the restaurant did anything. We ended up boxing up our food and leaving because it was just not conducive to a relaxing evening out. Might be awhile before I try it again.
Good was ok. Server was over worked but she was good. Inside is Very Noisy!
I sent my drink back twice. First time it was 2/3 full in a rocks glass. Second time they made it with water instead of Sprite. Calamari was way oversalted. Egg rolls were amazing. Waitress did her best and was pleasant. Manager was miserable. After sending a drink back twice bc their error they still charged me which i thought was poor taste. The flies were terrible on patio so we moved inside and it was better. Not too loud. We come here a lot and I think it was an off night for them. This is not typical. Must have been the Friday 13th vibes in the place. I'd still go back
Good food, good service
Good was great but a little overpriced !!
Every time we've eaten here the service has been really slow. This time, we arrived around 7 for our reservation, ordered around 7:30 and had to flag down the waiter at 8:30 and ask where our food was. Our waiter, Landen, was kind enough but not attentive enough and kept disappearing for long periods of time. He may have been new because we asked him some questions about the wine menu and the food menu and he had to go ask someone else. When we asked where our food was at 8:30, he said he would go check. He came back and said there was just one order ahead of us. I responded with, " Really? We've been here since 7 and ordered at 7:30." He said he'd go check again...no apologies or anything. Our food magically came out in the next couple minutes. Still, no apologies from anyone about the wait. The couple we were with said they never sit in the dining room or patio because they struggle with service. The bar, however, serves quickly. If we decide to go back, we'll be at the bar. Too bad though, because the bar is not ideal for a 'quiet dinner'.
Pretty place. The food we had was great. Service was exemplary. But the place is waaaay to noisy. We were at a table for two, so we’re sitting close to each other, but we practically had to yell to communicate. If we go again, we’ll sit outside, but the noise would keep us away if inside is the only seating available.
Apps were awesome. Couldn’t stop eating the maple glazed brussels. The jalapeño poppers were also a treat. Pimento cheese deviled eggs… well, more pimento cheese than egg. Not my favorite.
Wife had the blackened mahi and couldn’t eat it—too dry. But the sweet potatoes were great. I had the sweet taters with my fried lobster tail which was good. A bit salty, but still good. I would’ve loved some drawn bitter and a lemon… slaw was fine.
Had the strawberry shortcake for dinner. I just cannot resist this one. Love it.
Drinks good and well mixed. And overall good value. We love this place.
Took over an hour to get serviced. No communication from server as to what was the problem.
I cannot say enough amazing things about my first experience at Branch Water! Our server Kailin gave us the best service we’ve ever had anywhere!!! Seriously she was very attentive, sweet, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu and specials. The food was incredible! My husband is hardly impressed with food, and said that it was the best dining experience he’s ever had! I will tell everyone I know about our awesome dinner at BW!!
Austin is the best server we have had there. Fantastic service.
Our server, Austin, was just the right amount of attentive but not overbearing, always to the table on time. Food and drinks were both good and there was a good acoustic guitar player adding to the ambiance. Good experience.
I’m very sad to say the food was not great, especially for the price. I ordered the chef’s steak special and it was just not great. The truffle potatoes were awful, there was so much truffle oil on my potatoes that my mouth just about went numb. Unfortunately the vegetable medley was the best part of the meal. It was a very loud atmosphere. The server was amazing but that’s about it. I was really hoping it would have been a better experience but was definitely let down.
Great location in Vickery, great food, and food choices. Covered outdoor seating and even works well in the rain. Angel gave us great service! Definitely recommend!
Very good service from Austin.. Not rushed. Very good selection of food and all well prepared. The desserts selection needs more chocolate options like a heavy chocolate cake. Not overly crowded for a Friday night which was a delight! Recommend some power washing of the patio and more general cleaning and touch up inside. Maybe some brighter tones inside. Just suggestions. We will definitely be back!
Great live music, delicious food and good company!
Great meal. Will be back!!
Great food, good selection of beers and wines. We had the pimento devil eggs, chicken eggrolls, Cesar salad, flank steak special, scallops, and the pork chop. Everyone loved their main courses. The pork chop was amazing!! Highly recommend!! Only suggestion would be to add more options to the cocktail drink menu.
Our server was great and the food was excellent. What surprised me was some people were dressed very casual for such a nice restaurant.
Great atmosphere both inside and outdoors. Service was exceptional.
Always a great experience!
Server waited a little long before taking our order but we were in no hurry. The food was prepared perfectly, the server was engaging and pleasant. We certainly enjoyed ourselves and will return!
Another wonderful meal. We enjoyed the chefs feature fish- Sea Bass over a summer medley rissoto. We also enjoy the Ribeye with Yukon smash potatoes and the vegetable of the day. Excellent service, beautiful ambiance and exquisitely prepared food! Five stars!
Very nice atmosphere. Surf and Turf was excellent!
Was not happy that there was a $2.00 up charge per entree for exchanging mashed potatoes for sweet potatoes. This was not told to us ahead of time.
Felt like the meal was a bit over priced.
