Great service and atmosphere. Very accommodating to dietary needs :) will be going back for sure!
Fabulous food, great service, enjoyed by all!
Excellent Experience, highly recommend trying
Great service and food.
Great evening. We sat in the patio and the weather was great, along with the food. Service was slow and the server seemed a bit overwhelmed. Nice kid though -
The neighborhood place to go with the best food in Cumming!
We went for a 5pm dinner for early baby bedtime. It was quiet, great service, great food.
Service was slow and they were not busy, plus the salad entree was average at best
I had beef short rib with beans and smoked Gouda Mac n cheese. Everything was perfect !!
The food, as always, was delicious! I have never had a bad meal here and highly recommend this restaurant.
First time visit and will be back. Food was very good. I had the porkchop and it was fantastic.
Others had the Scallops and said they were awesome. Dont forget the Pineapple upside down cake.....
This is priced above everyday fining choices. $30-40 beef choices priced me out of the market. settled for a hamburger for me and salmon for my wife. Both unremarkable
Our experience at Branchwater was an overall disappointment. Had the charcuterie board with seemed like pork belly (good) and a random cold cut from the grocery store (flavorless). My wife had a NY Strip steak which was 33% fat. Have had similar tasting NY Strips at chain steakhouses with less fat for half the price. My BBQ short rib was somewhat overcooked and tasteless.
The server didn't seem to know much about the menu and had to go back to her notes for specials, etc. Not that anything was terrible, but for $120 for 2 diners, one would expect better food and service for the price.
We have eaten at Branchwater many times and always enjoy the food. This time there were a few negatives. The first was a very loud table next to us that made it difficult for us to talk. We ordered our meals. Two of us had the salmon and asked what we could substitute for the mashed potatoes and asparagus. From the numerous choices we chose the sweet potato hash. My husband had the filet and substituted the asparagus with green beans . He got a whole side of green beans. We were all charged extra but he didn’t want to argue it. (Even tho he should have). There shouldn’t have been any charges but if so should be explained.
The noise level is so bad there's no way you can enjoy your meal. Seems as though neighbors were gathering to catch up instead of dining. Many were moving from table to table to talk. Very, very loud no matter where you sit. We asked our waiter about the noise and he said it's always like that. We won't return.
Food was very good and the server Alli was excellent.
The service and food were very good. We were sat at a booth in the bar area so the noise was quite loud but we had a really good experience and will definitely be back soon. We are looking forward to trying more items from the menu.
We had a such a nice night out at branchwater. We haven’t had an adult night out in a while and wanted to try something new and we are so glad we did! The waitress was wonderful the food was some of the best we have had since moving down to GA from NY and the price for our dinner was not crazy at all! We loved the Brussels sprout appetizer, I had the chicken cutlet and my husband had the pork chop and they were all cooked to perfection. We also had drinks, and old fashioned and a strawberry fizz which were delicious and we shared the bread pudding dessert which was great! To get all this for under $100 and be the quality it was we will definitely be back next date night we get out to!
Great environment with friendly employees and service. The atmosphere was perfect as well. Great food that is moderately and well priced!
Good date night. The brussel sprout appetizer was delicious. Enjoy a nice steak and my wife got the salmon. Both tasted very good.
Great service. The food was outstanding. We had the corn and crab dip with pita and fried oysters. For dinners we had the shrimp with pesto, rib eye and surf and turf. There was not one bad dinner at all. The coffee as hot and fresh. For dessert we shared the key lime cake and chocolate cake. Again everything was fresh and outstanding
Food and service were very good, little noisy had difficulty carrying on a conversation at our table.
Can't wait to go back! Everything was amazing. The food was divine, service was perfect, and the atmosphere was very enjoyable. Prices are very fair. Overall it was a wonderful experience. Highly recommend. This was the perfect place to celebrate my husband's birthday.
This was my first time at Branchwater and it was a great experience! We were celebrating my birthday with my husband and parents and requested a table away from the noise and off on the side. They honored my request with the perfect table! The restaurant was crowded and busy, but Conner was an excellent waiter and patiently handled my father's poor hearing and slow responses. We each had a different entree and four appetizers and every single dish was out standing! We had brussel sprout, cheese crab dip, goat cheese with pita and Calamari. The entrees were steak, sea bass, scallops and seared tuna. We finished with amazing key lime pie, molten cake and gnosh cake. Everything was awesome! Can't wait to go back!!
Excellent food and service. We went at prime time on Saturday night, we had a reservation. My wife had the NY strip, I had the swordfish special, both meals were excellent. We started with salads and wine, finished with banana walnut bread, also great. We spent about $150 including tip for the 2 of us, so it's not cheap, but worth the price. Highly recommend.
Great service & thank you !!!
The whole experience was wonderful. The good was delicious and the wait staff engaging.
Food was outstanding! Everything we ordered was delishious! Only negative would be it was super loud! Could barely hear my husband talk and we were sitting directly next to each other! But, food was so good, we will be back!
Our food was good - we had raw oysters and the crab au gratin for appetizers. They brought club crackers for the oysters instead of saltines, which was weird. I had the grilled herb pesto shrimp - they were good. My husband had lobster and he really enjoyed it. We had 8:00 reservations and they didn’t seat us until about 8:20. Then they started cleaning around us as we finished about 9:15 - like stacking chairs and cleaning up the beverage station. It felt very rude and like they were rushing us off. And it was SO LOUD. Our service was not very good. Not sure we would go back for dinner... maybe drinks and an appetizer.
First, I wasn't a fan of our table. It was a 2top in the middle of the room and we both felt awkward. I was unaware that I needed to request a booth when I made the reservation-- maybe add that as an option or at least suggest it. Lighting and sound was fine. Our server was very quiet, didn't explain any daily features and wasn't really trying to sell us on the experience (I heard and saw how the 2 other servers in the immediate area interacted with their own tables). Ours was nice, but I would've liked more interaction; timid comes to mind. The brussel sprouts were heavenly. My husband's ribeye was the best thing we ate. He upgraded to the gouda mac, and we were told it was an upcharge-- ok, totally fine. But it ended up being a $5 charge, which seemed a bit much. I ordered the sea bass. It was good, but I should have ordered the ribeye instead. We ate about half of our meals and waited for quite a bit of time before our server returned to ask if we needed anything. He offered to box up our food and presented the check. We were sat, ate and paid in less than an hour.
I would come back but would make sure to request a booth and order something else for dinner.
Pork chop was probably the best we've ever had. Lisa was a great server.
Had reservations for a Valentine’s Day dinner with my daughter. The service from Angel and food were excellent. Will return for sure.
Our server was excellent. He was knowledgeable and friendly but not at all intrusive. And he kept my water glass filled! The menu selection wasn’t as extensive as it could have been but all of the choices sounded great. We ordered a flatbread, the seafood special for that night, and split a dessert. Each dish looked fantastic. The taste didn’t disappoint, with a very appealing flavor profile and great cook.
Excellent choices for both food and cocktails. Steak, salmon and scallops were fabulous! Cozy atmosphere to visit with friends.
Great date night location. Food is always good but gets very loud on Saturday nights.
First time dining at Branchwater, and I was not disappointed! I had heard good things about the place, so I was expecting good food but my expectations were surpassed. Everything we ordered was delicious! The brussel sprout appetizer was perfectLyft cooked and crispy on the outside with nice thick bacon. The goat cheese was also spectacular. The toast points that came with it were just the right amount of crispy and salty. Finally, the scallops definitely did not disappoint. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Great meal for a birthday celebration. Restaurant is not an everyday place. Food and service are exceptional but it is pricey.
Good was average, nothing great or special. Service was very good. Very noisy inside, making it hard to carry on a conversation. The food was over priced. Could have had much better food at a less expense for sure
It was an amazing dinner, although I was not too hungry which saddened me deeply. It was very pricey is my only complaint.
The food was AMAZING. We live 2 miles away and hadn’t been there in a couple of years. With the rainstorm we decided to stay local on a Saturday night instead of going to the city....we were so happy we did! Every detail of the meal and dessert was well constructed and on-point.
