Angel good cake was short on chantillí and strawberries. And the waiter listened and corrected it quickly, nicely! Other than that, great as usual!
Bramble and Hare is terrific! Fun atmosphere, great food, creative cocktails, friendly and knowledgeable staff. I can't wait to go back!
Very unique. Food was right off the farm!
Really wonderful small plates (which could easily be turned into full meals) and delicious entrees. Nothing fussy. Warm, comfortable atmosphere and excellent service. We kept it simple with beer and wine, but the bar definitely looked like they knew what they were doing.
The best meal we had in Boulder.
For my birthday celebration, we feasted on an incredibly fresh, innovative and delightful meal at Bramble & Hare. It's my favorite restaurant in Boulder -- hands down. You just can't beat the ambiance and the food is always incredibly delicious.
The food was good! Loved the Farm to Food restaurant for sure. All who served us were wonderful.
Our food was excellent and the service was more than accommodating. Wait staff went out of their way to: substitute a wine for one they did not have; providing bread from Black Cat, Offering beurre blanc sauce sauce as a substitute for butter and Chantilly cream for our coffee.
The value was great!
Thanks, Bramble and Hare!
Nice overall meal. Almost too much food served, only 1 of our 4 table mates finished their plate. Cookie a la mode for dessert was fantastic.
Very cozy atmosphere, intimate but not awkward. The service staff was amazing, everyone there was willing to help however they could.
The food was delicious, and every dish felt handcrafted. Both of the salads we got had the perfect ratio of ingredients, and every other part of the meal was just as well made.
Great restaurant overall. I had salmon with lentils. Lentils + sauce was ultra salty- I couldn't eat more than a bite of it. Salmon was perfect at medium-rare. Wait staff did offer to swap the meal, excellent service. This restaurant has room to improve and I have confidence it will.
Small dishes are outstanding. Best carrot cake I've ever had.
We enjoyed the most attentive, friendly service (Sam and the entire crew), great wine, and each of our four dinners was outstanding!
We thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant. The food was outstanding and the service attentive. Can’t recommend it highly enough.
Great food, great atmosphere, great service . Would recommend.
We had a lovely time!
Amazing drink before dinner, we both tried something new and loved them both. Wine pairing with Valentines set menu for us both. Great service and friendly, cozy environment. Both of us ordered the Filet steak which came medium temperature when we ordered medium rare, so that was a little disappointing. Lobster bisque was good, but not great. Amazing Syrah and after dinner wines paired with the meal. Overall, a great experience but a tad on the pricey side. Highly recommend if you are not concerned about price.
I’m not a foodie, but this restaurant was impressive. The food was great and the wine and alcohol selection was extensive. The wait staff was amazing and offered excellent recommendations and wine pairings. I will definitely be returning.
Fabulous, as always. Our favorite place in Boulder. We always feel like family in Bramble.
Thank you for holding our reservation and securing the table requested without a fuss, and without changing things up on us. The food and drink were great as always. We're grateful.
We loved our meal at Bramble and Hare!
Fabulous large and small plates, beer, wine and spirits. I strongly recommend Bramble and Hare.
Bramble and Hare was wonderful. Most of the entrees and appetizers are farm to table. I had the carrots with pistachios for appetizer and the poached salmon for dinner. Delicious! My husband had the butternut squash soup for a starter which he said was amazing and the pork entree also plentiful and yum. The service is gracious and the ambience cozy and inviting. The place is small so reservations are needed. The menu changes regularly to accommodate the fresh farm ingredients. This place impressed. We will be back.
Cozy space reminiscent of small restaurants in Europe. Excellent farm to table food from Black Cat's local farm in Boulder. The menu is small, but this helps keep the price down. Local, organic, gourmet food for the same price you'd pay elsewhere for lesser quality.
Food, as usual, was superb. Dani, our server was special ... enthusiastic, knowledgeeable and friendly. Excellent wine list. Bottom line, a steadily reliable source of outstanding food and in a great environment. Thanks. We'll be back soon!
One of our favorite late night spots! Bartender’s Choice cocktails are always on point - creative and delicious! Thank you, keep up the good work!
We went to B&H for the third time for our anniversary and it was as great as always. David has been our server each time and he's fantastic -- knowledgeable, professional and nice.
Slow slow kitchen and service. Food was good but not special. I have eaten here before and thought it was exceptional. Not any more
Love this place! Food, drinks, ambience - never disappoints.
Amazing service, food and specialty cocktails. I have gone to this establishment just about everytime I visit family in Boulder. It is our go to fine dining destination. Consistently good is the recipe for success!
Good food, good service, and fantastic cocktails. A truly exceptional restaurant fit for any occasion.
This was our second visit and both times everyone loved the place, the food and the service. (David was our server both times and he's great.) First I brought friends from out of town before a show at the Boulder Theater and this time we celebrated my son's 22nd birthday with family. The vibe is great, and we've agreed this will be one of our favorite go-to restaurants.
Thanksgiving special was overall very good. The pumpkin squash soup was a bit bland, the fish was excellent. The dessert sampler was great, but not really for someone who has a sensitivity for simple carbs, being VERY high is sucrose.
This is the second year that we have spent thanksgiving with Bramble and Hare. They are consistently excellent in food, service and ambiance.
The bass was spectacular. If the rest of the meal had been up to it, the lunch would have been memorable.
Both the cocktail menu and the ever-revolving food menu are surprising and inventive. The cocktail I had - "My Mom Listens to Slayer" - had tequila, beet, lovage, blueberry, and sour gastrique, and it was a brilliant and weird combination of flavors, earthy and bright and surprising. Mac and cheese with fermented jalapenos was the ideal mac and cheese. But the carrots with black garlic and a pistachio cream were the standout dish for me. Perfect showcasing of flavors. Thank you, Bramble and Hare!
Thoroughly enjoy Bramble & Hare every time. Overall, I think I've enjoyed the food more on previous visits, but regardless, I'll be back. The mac & cheese was phenomenal as always as well as the cocktails.
THIS has become My new favorite in boulder. I’ve never had a bad experience and the servers/bartender/managers never disappoint. The service is wonderful and the food/drinks delish.
Always cozy and yummy. We love the seasonal fare and the unusual bar concoctions. And the 3-course, fixed price menu is a true bargain!
Bramble & Hare was a let down. I've had fantastic bistro/neo-bistro food both in the US and abroad, and I'm also in the food industry, so my hopes were high. However, Bramble & Hare really only delivered with the cocktail, which was stellar (My Mother Listens to Slayer). It hit just the right notes of sweet and bitter, not going too far in either direction. I had the $35 tasting course while my husband had an appetizer along with an entree. The amount of food we received was plenty for the price, but the quality was lacking--mediocre food that was somewhat tasteless and nothing that screamed of "well made classic" or "new twist". My cod and potato salad first course was ok, but nothing stood out about it. It was a bit blah, seeming like it could benefit from some salt even, although the presentation was nice (though it needed a bit of colour--too much white on the plate). My entree was the pumpkin seed risotto, which was oily and too crunchy. I know risotto should be al dente, but this was just crunchy and lacking in flavor. And although the squash was fine, it too needed more flavor. The beet slaw on the platter seemed old and dry.
Dessert was good in some ways and not so in others. I had a wonderful americano, and the espresso/amaretto flan was acceptable. However, the presentation made it seem like I was receiving a tiny amount of flan when in reality it was a perfectly adequate amount. The flan needs to be in a smaller mason jar to make the mind's eye think it is fuller. It was too sad-looking and was a bit awkward to eat, digging into that jar. Also, the chopped up almonds and chocolate were a trite afterthought in plating and flavor. The crunch, rather than enhancing the dish, drowned out the smoothness of the flan. The chocolate also overpowered the flavor of the flan. All in all the dessert was very unimpressive and I would not be happy to have paid $8 for it should I have come in just for that as a treat one night.
Always a treat! Will be back again soon for another great meal.
