Husband enjoyed short ribs. I had chicken Marsala which was very bland. Whipped potatoes tasted like they were from a box.

A busy night as it was Valentine's Day, but the hospitality by the hostess, the owner and our waitress were very sincere and not overplayed.
The food was very good, particularly the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer.
This was our second time there and we will definitely be going back!

My daughter and 2 grand daughters returned for Valentines Day after visiting 3 nights before with my son in law. We were seated in an ‘over-flow’ dining room and waited 35 minutes to be brought water and a drink menu requested twice. We had to ask for bread at that point. When returning for our order we informed there were no dishes available for children -though we were provided a kids menu by the hostess when seated And there were no entrees available to suit my allergies-nothing. We should have left then. After 2 trips to the kitchen they were willing to grill a piece of salmon to add to my half pear salad and make my grand daughter mac n cheese. I asked specifically that my salmon be medium rare and it arrived cooked dry and the Mac n cheese was completely tasteless as were the special crab cakes my daughter ordered as an app. The highlights were her lobster bisque and short rib entree which was great. After 1 1/2 hours for poor service and dull food we decided to forego dessert. 4 apps, 1 entree and 3 wines were $93 before tip. Worst Valentines in memory. Like many good restaurants they were completely incompetent on a busy holiday.

We were put in an area I’d call “overflow”. Had dined there a few times and was always in the other room which was much nicer. Food was good but found it overpriced. $145 including top is quite pricy for two people even on Valentine’s Day.

Extremely noisy - needs acoustic tile in the concrete walled room. Food was just ok. Not what you expect for the high prices.

All the food was very good and came out within a good time. The only "problem" was that I did not see any mention of the fact that they would only be serving from a specific Valentine's Day menu on their website or anywhere. I was planning on spending around $35 for us and ended up well over $70... We could not simply leave as we made reservations and were already sitting down. Definitely felt a little tricked.

We couldn’t wait to return to braised onion since visiting last year when in town for the HITS horse-show. Once again they were conscious of my food allergies. The appetizers were wonderful again- lobster bisque, onion loaf, lobster crab salad, pear salad and the kids sliders were great. Sadly our fish entrees Salmon and Cod were both lacking flavor. We’re looking forward to returning on Valentines Day.

Trever was our server and he was extraordinary! He was professional, knowledgeable of the menu offerings, courteous, an excellent communicator and efficient.
