    Our server Trevor is the best! We enjoyed the French onion soup crab cakes, lobster bisque the most. Next time I will ask for more remoulade sauce for crab cakes as base of plate is drizzled but I wanted more! The mango relish accompaniment was good but the NOLA in me prefers the remoulade. Like that it is a cozy house feel to the seating and decor. portion sizes are good and there is a full bar available w cocktails beer and a good wine selection. We went for lunch and there was a wide range of menu selections. We will return for dinner at some point! Cheers!

    Not as good as first time we went. Service was unprofessional at best. Crab cakes smaller than first time. Server came to table with overpowering perfume affecting to taste of meal. First time was terrific and this time really not good.

    Onion Soup is a MUST! Our entrees - Grouper and Salmon were perfect and switch out the potatoes for the risotto which is absolutely delicious.

    Great food, bad service. Waiter only came to the table 3 times. 1) to take the order. 2) to drop off the order and 3) to drop off the check. Never even got a refill on my beverage.

    We had a party of about 11 people. They got tables ready for us right away. The server Alex was phenomenal. Food was delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant.

    Everything is made from scratch and delicious. They need better blue cheese olives for martinis. When I asked for them they confirmed they had them, but took a olive with pimento in it and add a bit of blue cheese at the end. That was the only downside!

    Our first time at The Braised Onion - and it won't be the last! VERY nice New Year's Eve dinner experience!! Delicious food-perfectly prepared and timed courses and serving by Desiree-and the manager kindly checking on us several times! Can't wait to return! G&M from Ocala

    The food was just marvelous! Onion soup was divine. Braised short ribs were delicious and the crème brûlée was outstanding. It’s not supper fancy, service was not very good but the food was so worth it as far as quality and value!!

    Christmas Eve dinner was awesome! The food was excellent, the dessert was even better and the service was fantastic. Desiree was our server and she did an outstanding job. We enjoyed the variety on the menu and everything was fresh and hot. I would highly recommend The Braised Onion!

    We had the braised beef ribs and Berkshire pork. Both were amazing as usual. We have never had any thing that wast fabulous here.

    Never had a chance to taste the food waited 1 hour for food to come out. Questioned the manager and his answer was everyone is waiting. So much for customer service he should not be a manager. He could of at least apologized and explained they were overwhelmed with 2 large unexpected parties. As a result we left and will not return.

    It took 1 1/2 hour to receive our main course which was not hot. I didn’t feel it was our waitress fault. At the time we were there one table was tired of waiting on their food and left. It seems they were understaff in the kitchen and over booked for the tables. If you can't handle the volume of the reservation, the reservation should not be accepted. The tables were to close together. Making anyone difficult to get up from their seat and we did notice on the other side of the restaurant there were empty tables.

    Delicious lunch. There were four of us for a late lunch yesterday. Terrific service, we were not rushed at all. Wonderful Maryland Crab cakes with very little, if any, filler. Everything ordered was delicious. Cannot wait until our next visit. This is now our favorite restaurant since moving to the area from Seattle, WA.

    We held our annual holiday dinner there this year. It was top notch from beginning to end. Our server Alex was very welcoming, knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. I will certainly return for dinner!!

    We all Loved the Onion Soup. We were not rushed and the whole staff was attentive to our needs. Our visit to the Braised Onion was just the Christmas cheer we were looking for. Thank you to Sherry our waitstaff.
