Our party came for Sunday dinner. We found the atmosphere to be pleasant and there was live music. Service was very attentive and the food was nicely done. We began with the calamari. The aioli added an extra punch of flavor that we loved. We followed up with the golden beet and watercress salad. The blood orange and dressing were a nice addition and made it extra refreshing. For dinner we had crab cakes, the soft shell crab and the duck confit. The portions were generous and very appropriate for a summer solstice dinner. The presentation of the soft shell crab was quite fun. The little crab looked to have a tall grass hat. Nice job from the staff at Bowman’s Tavern. One and only criticism, the chairs are hard on the tush! They should find something a little more comfortable.

My first time here, I had the burgers and they were great! I was looking for a central location for Sunday brunch and remembered our good experience. We enjoyed our meals, and the service was great, thanks to our server and the valet staff.

I’ve been to Bowman’s Tavern before first with my oldest daughter; my second time was with my family. My third time at Bowman’s Tavern was with a Friend. Bowman’s Tavern is an Upscale, Tavern/Restaurant ,that offers High Quality Food And A High Quality Dining experience. The Food selections on the Menu are a bit Diverce; and the Quality and Quantity Are Very Good. The Service is Adverage; and the Prices for Menu Items are a bit Higher than an average Tavern or Restaurant. In my opinion, I feel that it’s worth the Higher Cost or Price, because you are getting Elegance and a Higher Quality Dining experience, while you’re there. We were delighted to experience a bit of entertainment during our Dinner Time. They often on the weekends, have a Piano Player and a Singer. The noise level is medium, to relatively average noise level. The Musical Entertainment is Delightful, with in the Song selections, and with the Sound. I would definitely recommend anyone who is in and around the New Hope PA area, to come and experience Bowman’s Tavern for A High Quality Dining Experience. You Have To See For Yourself and find out what they have to offer. When I took my friend with me for my last visit to Bowman’s Tavern she was amazed at the whole experience and she enjoyed her meal, especially and thought it was very tasty and made with care and quality. My friend would definitely like to come back again sometime if she ever can as well.

The soft shell crab appetizer was delicious. The Kansas City strip steak was very good, although a little grizzly. The accompanying mashed potatoes and green beans were excellent. Our drinks were delish, a cosmo and a glass cannon specialty cocktail. Then we headed to the bar to listen to the Phylis’s Chappell duo. We actually booked dinner when we learned that they were going to be playing there. It was a perfect evening!

We (2) were early for a 5:00 reservation and seated at a table next to a party of 5 and the swinging doors to the kitchen. There were lots of tables open that provided a more intimate option. We asked to be relocated and were kindly accommodated. We find Consistent good food and drinks and a most pleasant wait staff and bar manager Lucas.

Cozy atmosphere, food does not disappoint and the staff are very pleasant and attentive. I definitely will be back!

Usually we love bowman's but this was not a great experience. Seems like a big staff turn over and we we placed next to a large noisy table - even though many empty tables in restaurant. Our service took forever to show up. Drinks came after appetizer. My order was messed up. Salmon and swordfish both were overcooked. Server never asked us for a cocktail refill? So not sure what's going on. We will try again and hope it is better. It is one of our fav spots to go.

My husband and I both loved our entrees! Our waitress was terrific and as always, we had a wonderful night at Bowman’s Tavern!
