Enjoyed the friendly and accommodating service provided by the entire staff at bar and dinner table. Entire meal was excellent. Thank you for an enjoyable evening out with friends / family. We’ll be back for sure!

Really cozy, upbeat atmosphere, excellent service and reasonably price menu items. Full bar too! We came for the Great burgers but ending up also loving the French onion soup & the amazing Asian salad( I cant wait to get it next time we visit - really tasty and healthy too).

Great dinner at service at Bowman's. Can't wait until they bring back live music.

Bowman's Tavern is always a special occasion. We are Central New Jersey residents but love crossing our Delaware River to visit Bucks County.

Professional, knowledgeable, courteous staff (servers, hostess, manager). Delicious meal. Whipped ricotta appetizer and Scottish salmon over fennel, lentil, sweet potato mash.

The venue was lovely, service staff pleasant and helpful, food quality very good, and drinks great. The manager on the other hand was an absolute jerk. After we’d been there for a while and finished diner, with no previous warning, no indication of a problem, and immediately after ordering our after dinner drinks (after a substantial pause in the service with no sign of the wait staff but, also no complaints on our part) the manager storms out the door and informs us in an angry tone that “the next guests have arrived for our table”. We politely informed him no one had advised us of any time limit (by the way he personally checked us in and said nothing) and his staff had literally JUST asked us for a dessert order, at which point he proceeded to throw a fit like a 2 year old and mumble about the next party “just having to wait” (as if that was our problem) while storming back into the restaurant. He then, even more embarrassingly, yelled at the staff in plain view of all the guests and proceeded to make a scene breaking a number of glasses while cleaning another table in an embarrassing display of hurried frustration. We were then served dessert WITH our check and and stalked by the staff for our credit card while trying to enjoy our dessert and coffee. We found it horribly embarrassing and disappointing for both us and our waitress. The manager was embarrassing, rude, mean, and ruined an otherwise lovely evening for us and our guests, not to mention the other nearby diners. It’s a shame but, we won’t be back to a restaurant willing to employ someone so inconsiderate and rude.

The service was excellent and the restaurant does a very good job of keeping guests apart and keeping all areas clean. But the food was just meh. The mushroom biscuits were hard - they had obviously been cooked hours ago and the just reheated (in the microwave?) which was a bad sign. The scallops were perfected cooked, but were absolutely swimming in a salty sauce that truly tasted and looked like it was canned cream of mushroom soup. I just didn't see anything to justify the great reviews this place gets.

We usually love the food here but my friend and I chose the mushroom sandwich and it was not even edible ! we both did not eat ours. But the beet salad and Bowmans salad were both outstanding as was the service. We will be back hopefully when the menu has a few more meatless options like they did pre covid !

My main constructive comment is that the beer is served to cold. Everyone is a beer expert but I would like to see both the bottles and drafts slightly less cold.

We were greeted by a friendly staff and our seating was within 5 minutes. Our table was in a cozy corner . Our server was attentive and helpful. Our beverages were brought promptly and were of good flavor and ample. The Pork Belly Tacos, excellent , we shared a bowl of hearty onion soup with a side of biscuits that were perfect to share with the soup. My diner of corn beef and cabbage was a bit different than what I am used to. The meat was tender and flavorful but the cabbage was overdone and the potatoes where grilled instead of boiled. I must admit i am partial to boiled potatoes. My wife's diner of Gnocchi's with a lite brown sauce was excellent. All to full for dessert we left for home and rated our diner a 9, and we will go back

Food is excellent I had the best burger and wings I’ve had maybe ever. While at Bowmans I feel like I’m at home in my living room just hanging out and relaxing. Michelle our waitress was fun, engaging and happy to serve us. We’ll go back a lot. I understand why it’s so booked up on Friday & Saturday night.

They have a wonderful menu. Daily specials are excellent service as always right on Accurate and fast. I miss the music that had to be stopped because of the pandemic. Hopefully it will return soon. Plenty of parking.

All ways eat their specialty dinners and deserts.

We had a great meal here! Everyone we came in contact with from the hostess station to the waitstaff were just terrific. Drinks delicious! Food super good! Will be back again soon.

Great friendly, comfortable, casual place for consistently great food and a good time with friends. Good assortment of beers - tap & bottle - full bar, and short but reasonably priced & accessible wine list.

It was nice to get out. We had a great time.
