   I very very much enjoyed Bowmans Tavern. The food is consistently excellent. The prices are reasonable. The ambience is just the way I like it. And they usually have music like they did during this trip. The fabulous Bob Egan was playing the piano. Fun time.

   We ate lunch outside, which was fun, though it was just in a narrow strip of tables. The umbrellas were very useful for the sun! Service was friendly and efficient, a real plus. We had the corned beef Reuben, a burger, and the oyster mushroom po'boy. All tasty. Sides like coleslaw, potato salad, and fries were excellent. Location is perfect if you're exploring WAshington Crossing Park or Bowman's Wildflower Preserve, etc. The bar and main room looked good, but the weather was too nice to be indoors.

   I've been coming to Bowmans for several years. It used to be my go-to place. I've always found the food and service very good. However, as of late, prices have gone up considerably. A glass of Coppola red wine went from $10.00 to $14.00. Pasta dishes are now $32.00. Meat dishes the same or more. I now need to rethink my dining options.

    We go here for lunch/brunch on Sundays. Love the menu and the drinks, also has a jazz band. I have dietary issues and they have no issues giving me a great meal I can enjoy.

    Everyone was so nice and everything we tried was amazing! If they have the calamari... GET THE CALAMARI. We also got the alligator chili (it was one of the specials), duck breast, meatloaf, and chocolate mousse cake (also on special). We'll definitely be back. This was quite the experience!

    Our server Michelle was fantastic. We had my 91 year old mother with us and everyone there could not have been kinder to her (from the valet to the host to the server). Our food was delicious and served HOT which is important! We eat here about every 6 weeks and also appreciate the high quality of the house wines. Love it here!

    This is one of our favorite places to stop on the way to Peddlers Village for NJ. The ambience is great. The food is great. The service is always great and the live music definitely adds to a great experience! Definitely topped off my Mother’s Day!

    Dined at Bowman's Tavern numerous times. Their Meatloaf was exceptional as usual. My Daughter had the Chicken Cordon Blue which she said was overdone. My Wifes salad was great as well as the Calamari. Service was great. We'll definitely return and consider the hiccup with the chicken as a minor issue.

    My husband and I were celebrating our 33rd Wedding Anniversary and decided to try something new. We had never been to Bowman's Tavern, and thought try something new. Food was delicious, our waitress was delighful. Definitely want to go back and try something different. I had Matloaf, and my husband had Schnitzel Chicken Cordon Bleu.

    Our server Michelle was outstanding. She walked thru the menu with us and told us what was popular. We just had burgers and salads and they were very good. The burgers were hot and cooked as requested. The onion rings were great. Very pleased with the pace of the meal. It was very busy but we did not wait long for our food.
