Extremely over priced, poor quality meat. It's offensive they consider that "wagyu", it's more along the lines of chuck steak or london broil. Spinach was trash also, looked like it came out of the frozen food aisle at the local supermarket. The special that night, prawn, was fishy and the dish was a mess, poorly executed. Save your money, go somewhere else. Hey, BMC, if you want to charge this level of pricing you better get a new meat supplier or your days are numbered.
By far best restaurant over all on this trip’ my hubby is pretty picky. He freaked out!!!!! Everything deserves a 5 star!

The atmosphere was wonderful, the servive was superb. I enjoy and appreciate being treated with dignity and respect. The food was some of the best I have ever eaten. I've recommended this to my family and to numerous friends. Perfect...thank you.
Visiting NYC for the weekend and came with my husband for date night. Made our reservation in advance. Service was good and so was the food but definitely over priced. Everything is a la carte. Nice experience and glad we tried it. But this is a one and done for us.
Awesome. Try the bacon. All the steaks were cooked to perfection. No place better. Bon appetit.

Overall the dining experience was great. Hostesses and wait staff were great, despite it being super busy they always attended to us promptly. My husband ordered the wagyu beef and I got the bone-in filet mignon, both medium. Mine was a bit on the dry side, his was delicious! They also gave us a complimentary side. Overall would recommend as a good steak restaurant.
Second time there, second time with the exact same feeling as i walked out- the ambiance and service are second to none. The appetizers, side dishes, and wine list all are top notch outstanding. The only thing that leaves something to be desired is the steak (1st time had tomahawk and ribeye, this time just ribeye). For such an amazing place, i wished the steaks lived up to the rest of the experience. The shishito peppers are unnecessary and don’t add anything to the basic tasting ribeye. It makes me think you HAVE to order one of the sauces that they charge a lot for. I don’t mind paying for anything else on the menu but the steak itself was not seasoned adequately (twice now) and when it should be the star of the show it was the only low point of the entire night.

Excellent dining experience here. Brought my meat-loving dad here and we both had incredible meals. Cocktails are also great, as are the side dishes. Fair warning - it’s A LOT of food. Will be back!
The steak was over cooked
This was one of the best meals I’ve ever had in my life! Absolutely incredible service and food. My husband and I had an amazing time!
Really enjoyed BMC. We were drawn to make a res to try the duck lasagna. We started with Eggs & Eggs (deviled eggs with a healthy mound of caviar on top) and they comped us some kung pao duck wings as well. Both were excellent. The eggs are a small order with just two pieces but they pack a huge flavorful bite. For entrees we got the lasagna and a ribeye. The lasagna was delicious and very rich. It wasn't as moist and saucy as I usually like lasagna but the flavors were amazing and it was packed with tons of lean duck. The ribeye was perfectly cooked though my friend thought the meat and two sauces were slightly under seasoned. One last note about the room. We really liked the ambiance and the crowd, and considering it was a late Saturday meal we were pleasantly surprised that the noise level was low.
Really, really overpriced. Wine list especially egregious. Excellent food and service, but definitely not worth the price. Also, OpenTable reservations are seated only in the bar, not in the main (and more attractive) dining room.
The meat (rib on eye) was fantastic. The salad was worse but acceptable

Good New York steakhouse. Bone in filet was a little overcooked, but still good. My wife liked the home made ricotta appetizer, but it was too sweet for me. Service was very good. I like that the steaks didn’t come out on sizzling hot plates that keep cooking the steak. Decor was not special. My son liked his Wagyu strip. Rolls were fantastic! Good fries. Mashed potatoes were runny. Peppercorn steak sauce accompaniment was great.
Most amazing food I’ve had in NYC!!! The executive chef killed it and the service was amazing! My new favorite place to eat in the city!

Food is exceptional. Bacon and ricotta appetizers were excellent. We had salads and that was just too much food. The steaks were gigantic and perfectly done. Only complaint is wine list is outrageously marked up. No good choices at lower price points. How many $800 bottles of wine does a list need? Who’s buying all these $800 bottles of wine at restaurants?
Overall, our meal was solid, however, my wife and I both felt that the service tapered off a bit. We would have appreciated more attention from our primary server.
It’s not a stodgy old steakhouse if that’s what your looking for. It has a fun yet upscale vibe with good music and friendly service. The food was excellent.
Something has really gone wrong here... meat is not supposed to be cooked in butter, you know..it gets to your stomach if you do ..... wagyu should be a kiss in the mouth....
ambiance is ok, service as well. All in all: to much fat for the European stomachs... apologies.
The ambience was great, the noise level was great we did not have to even raise our voices to hear one another.
Our server was great, attentive and really looked after our experience.
The only issue I had with my visit was that the steak that we ordered was just not cooked properly. It was supposed to be medium rare, but I would say that it was blue rare to rare. Also the crust was more on the burnt side than an actual crust.
Also the for a steak that costs over $100 the silverskin and sinew should definitely be removed.

Terrific, delicious meal of wagyu steaks, served by attentive and friendly waiters. Calm and elegant interior. Great place for a cozy but cool dinner. Will definitely go again!!
Always enjoy their steaks. I had the bone in ribeye and it was delicious. My favorite NYC steakhouse.
Could use some more dessert options. Key Lime pie, and more chocolate desserts would be welcome.
The food was amazing and paired perfectly with the wine. If you go and do not get the duck lasagna then you have missed out on a culinary masterpiece.
Excellent Steakhouse, the room is very pleasant, nicely laid out. The steak selection was fantastic, including Waygu selections. Some unusual side dishes which were very good. Superb service. Highly recommend

Food and service is great. Second time here and Bowery Meat Company did not disappoint. We had a few appetizers including the bacon, meatballs, and heirloom tomatoes. A few free treats were also provided such as the risotto balls and duck lasagna. Our group really enjoyed all. I had the bone-in filet which was delicious, while my dad & sister shared the Tomahawk. Great meats and lots of flavor to all. Will be back again.
Great food, great service, General Manager Devone Wise was great too. Introduced himself and just wanted to make sure all was good. I highly recommend.
Great steak and sides with wonderful service. Good wine list by the bottle and glass. Unfortunately, I prefer non IPA beer, but that is the trend elsewhere and at BMC.
I rarely comment on desserts, but both I tried were delicious.
I would definitely go again.
