   I just got back from vacation and was craving a Bowdies steak. This place never disappoints! Steaks are ridiculous, drinks are always delicious and service is always outstanding.

   Our server Lee (Leigh) was excellent! Filets were cooked perfectly and delicious. Charred broccoli was yummy. Birthday celebration at the bar got a little noisy and made conversations challenging. Look forward to returning!

    Cozy dining atmosphere with adequate lighting. A plus to have a restroom on the second floor where we ate. Server was informative about menu choices and pleasant to communicate with. Food was remarkable and presented beautifully.

    Very good meal and outstanding service. Loved their take on the French 75 cocktail. Shrimp Bisque was excellent and the filet and ribeye's we had were good quality and perfectly prepared....so was the creamed spinach...and so were the truffle fries...

    We were seated right next to the entrance door and bar. So it was a little noisy…but not really disturbing. We noted throughout the meal ( which was excellent) we noted that their choice of background music could be refined a bit…not that we wanted opera or heavy classical…just a little refined. Their prices were impressive but the “goods” were delivered. Would go back again no question! I would imagine, considering the location, that during the high season (summer) it might be a chaotic around there.

    Awesome food, at the TOP of the list in Saugatuck, Douglas, Holland, Grand Haven area! Emma, our server is knowledgable, fun and excellent at her profession, knows the products and excels at steak carver!

    Food and service was spectacular. As a new diner, I was surprised by the ambiance. The main level felt more like a bar, which seemed off for a date spot. I will return, but will request to be upstairs (which I assume is more lowkey).

    Bowdies Chophouse is amazing. Great steak, my fiancé and I both got steak and were very pleased. Service was excellent. A great restaurant if you’re looking to celebrate anything or looking for a much needed date night. I definitely recommend going!

    The team at Bowdies is always wonderful. My wife and I always enjoy sharing the best Caesar and "Tomahawk" in SWMI! We have been bringing our latest newborn for as long as they have been open (last night #4 was with us) and the team always goes above and beyond to ensure that we have a great time. See you all soon!

    Excellent service. Ambiance nice. Very disappointed with the crab cakes. Have had them in the past and were excellent. This time they were runny and a bit too salty. Bone marrow was amazing as was the bisque.
