Absolutely fantastic experience - Micheal took great care of us and was very knowledgeable about all of the menu items. Everything was super tasty and you could tell the quality was top notch. Highly recommend and we will be back!

Great food as always. The Bowdies Old Fashion was wonderfully crafted. Steaks were prepared perfectly. Great wine selection and I was surprised to see a 2015 Bordeaux available by the glass. Shrimp cocktail was amazing and worth the cost.

Amazing service and phenomenal food. Celebrated our anniversary here and the overall experience just made our night. Everything was prepared to perfection. We had the filets and the wedge salad is the best I have ever had. Cocktails were delicious! Highly recommend for a special occasion. Our server was a delight!

We normally frequent the EGR location, but this was a great experience! Lawerence, who was the bartender and server, did a phenomenal job. The manager, also was quick to bus our table, pour wine. Everything was exceptional, as always.

Our experience here was fantastic! Elijah was our serve and he made the experience a 15/10! The cocktails were strong and impressive, the potatoes were out of this world and the Brussels sprouts were superb! Our steak was wonderful and Elijah cut it for us at the table, as we shared. The highlight for us was the wedge salad. I wish I could bottle the homemade blue cheese dressing! Elijah was informative and extremely friendly, a true professional waiter. We were visiting for a long weekend form Chicago and we can’t wait to visit again!

Great experience. Service was personalized and very helpful when selecting our choices. It was a special occasion and we were treated accordingly. Our table was reserved in a quieter area of the restaurant and information on sides and salads was invaluable. Desert was no charge as a gesture of appreciation for selecting Bowdie's Chophouse as our destination.

This was our first time at Bowdies and we chose it because of it's convenient location to where we were in Saugatuck. The entrance was cramped, as there was no formal hostess area, just a stand by the door amongst tables with patrons eating. I even thought maybe we'd come in the wrong door until someone came over to get us seated. The weather that day was unseasonably warm and a little humid. I'm mentioning this because there was a mild smell in the restaurant that wasn't very pleasing and we thought it might be due to that. It wasn't bad enough that we wanted to leave, but it was off-putting nonetheless. However, the food definitely made up for any issues. My husband and I both ordered the filet and, despite requesting different temps, both were done perfectly. The side of potatoes au gratin was delicious and big enough that we had leftovers. We didn't have dessert, but what we saw looked very good.

The wife and I had a enjoyable night. She had her salmon specially prepared the way she likes it’s by the chef which was highly appreciate. She enjoyed it very much. I ordered the bone in New York strip med and it was cooked perfectly as well. After the second bite I had a 6-8 inch blond hair attached to my steak. I could no longer enjoy but did take a steak to go. I know it wasn’t the chefs hair but a server that walked by the hot plate from the kitchen or pass window. I just believe there should have been a complimentary drink or dessert ( just some form acknowledgment of this mishap). Or the manager stopping by. Knowing the cost of steaks and that I took one home I wouldn’t expect the Steak to come off but nothing seemed like the get what I can now mentality than this Guest returning and having a better experience on the next visit. Thank you for the overall good experience but could have been outstanding.

Steaks were amazing! Au Gratin Potatoes to die for! Escargot severely oversalted along with the seasonable veggie (squash). Server very knowledgeable about menu, drinks & wine list. Very attentive early then more scarce when busy. Free birthday desserts were appreciated. Sum it up- Great Prime steaks cooked to perfection, wine/drink list impressive. Server knowledgeable, friendly but lost focus at end. Chef needs to taste some of his dishes and lighten up on salt amount. Nice location. Unique lower level dining room. Would def recommend.

Made reservations months before arrival. First date the Open Table allowed me to reserve. Worst table in the house sandwiched between the back of the bar, next to the restrooms with a direct view of the servers' bar station and the kitchen less than 10' feet away. Patrons lined up next to the our table to use the restooms. Noise level unbelieveable especially the drunk woman at the bar who "worked" the bar area engaging with any one and every one in LOUD conversation. In fact, the worst table I have ever had, EVER. Not exactly what I was planning on for a 50th wedding anniversary. Hostess made NO EFFORT to assist. She NEVER returned to the table after seating us. Take it or leave it. Didn't even comp a cup of coffee or a dessert. The server asked if we wanted an "anniversary" dessert so he was aware of the situation and he did nothing to try to improve our dining experience.

This is a difficult review to write as our experience at Bowdie’s was mostly very positive, with the exception of the cowboy ribeye steak. The atmosphere was great, the service was excellent, and the cocktails were wonderful. The escargot and shrimp bisque were delicious. The roasted Brussels sprouts were slightly undercooked, but tasty, and the au gratin potatoes were exceptional. The steak was a complete disappointment. It was fatty and extremely tough, particularly for a dry-aged steak. I would go back to enjoy the appetizers, side dishes, and cocktails.

My husband and I came to Bowdies to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary and the experience was amazing. Our server Jordan was so friendly and knowledgeable. The food was perfect. Melt in your mouth filets and the sides were also delicious. We had a truly wonderful experience and can't wait to go back!

We ordered the scallops for our appetizer which were delicious! Also split the shrimp bisque which was good but it didn’t have any shrimp ☹️ The tomahawk steak was delicious along with the au gratin potatoes. The prices are very high
