I AM SOOOO DISAPPOINTED! The salmon dish I was so in love with was taken off the menu in early January! I will not be back unless and until they bring it back!
We got there a half hour early and was seated. Serviced water, and 30 minutes later, nothing. Our waiter forgot about us, so we got up and left. Nobody noticed. It was Valentine’s Day and the the place was not crowded. I tired to book another restaurant but open table app wouldn’t let me unless Bourbon Street reservation was cancelled. The only way was to call the restaurant but they didn’t t answer their phone. I learned something new which was annoying. Around 8:45, trying to find another restaurant to book, I called Bourbon Street again to get them to cancel the reservation and told the gal what happened and all I got was a sorry. I couldn’t use Open table to book, so I was able to book using google when we finally found an okay place in Brea. We sat down to eat dinner at almost 10pm! I’ll never go back to Bourbon Street ever! Open table needs to fix this issue with their app!
We had a reservation, but were seated by the back door. There were cracked seafood shells in the jambalaya, but the flavor was good. The rest of the food was decent, but presentation was lacking.
Bourbon Street reminds me of a neighborhood restaurant with drinks...comfortable but not fancy. The Jambalaya was spicy, but not overly so...the Blackened Sole had a large side of very nice vegetables that my wife really appreciated.
We don't come to Bourbon Street often, but will keep coming back because it feels comfortable and has good food.
The food and waiter were great. I had fish and chips and the fish was perfect and moist- couldn’t eat it all. The band was a three piece and were good, especially the singer/guitar and the harmonica player!
Reservation not honored no food no service
They were out of a lot of good and it was only 645pm
The Bavarian pretzel and cheese was good. The bacon burger that my son had was also good. I had the shrimp and grits which was good but had an excessive amount of grits and could had had more shrimp in it. The side salad had mostly lettuce and only a few tomatoes and onions. The service was good and friendly. Nice place but they were showing music videos from the 80's that weren't quite kid friendly. There was another family next to us at the time.. could have been saved for a later time so kids didn't see them.
Awesome as always
This place is extraordinary! Great food good value great staff!
Very good, everything was amazing!
When we go out to dinner we expect to have a nice relaxing evening. Well on the night we chose to go to Bourbon Street they were playing the Democratic debate on every TV with the sound up. If I wanted to watch the debates I could of stayed home. Not a great evening out.
Joe always makes our Bourbon Street experience great he knows what we like and what we don't 😉
This was a great place to grab a late Sunday lunch. Service was fabulous, great music. I had the jumbalaya which was average but the bread they served with it was excellent.
This was my second time at this restaurant... I went back because the food was good. The service was just as slow as the first time. Both times we weren't approached by a server for at least 25 minutes after being sat at a table. Both times we had reservations. It felt like we were invisible. I don't think we will be going back.
Live jazz music started at 7pm on the Friday night we were there. Big servings of fried steak and waffles and baby back ribs $20 each . Gumbo was spicy. Food wasn’t all that great. Not coming back
Larry was wonderful in serving us tonight. The food was excellent! Ordered the grilled cheese plate, pork chop and French dip and we were very impressed. Dessert was Bana’s foster and beignets. No disappointment there either. Friendly staff. Would definitely go back.
Was not very impressed with the fried chicken, it was ok
The decor, quality of the food and service were superior. The place smelled bad which seriously detracted from the experience. If they fix the bathroom odor that we experienced we’d be regulars because EVERYTHING ELSE WAS SUPERIOR. Food, service, decor, music all awesome. Fix the bathroom odor and you’ve got a winner.
Best jambalaya I’ve ever had!!
The food was not good. We had 2 servers and each one gave us wrong information if we had a question about the food. We ordered the fried chicken which came with mashed potatoes and creamed corn and had to send it back. The wings were not good. They were soggy and just tossed in buffalo wing sauce.
Live music was great. If you are visiting the Anaheim area. I highly recommend this place. Food was awesome.
Great date place, especially if you appreciate jazz. We were out-of-towners who were well taken care of by staff. Seemed like lots of locals too which means a lot to us as we search for non-chain, very unique places to eat, drink and mingle.
They are very accommodating & friendly. Food are big servings its worth the money spent. Will go back again.
Great, caring service and prepared food.
Music needs to GO BACK TO TRADITIONAL MARDI GRAS -during the day at least. :)
We had a team dinner at Bourbon Street on a busy Friday night. Parking can be a little tough, but there are enough spaces in the surrounding parking structure. Service was great all around, it was a team approach. Our dinner portions were generous, some plates are meant to be shared! We would come here again!
Waiter was awesome! Food great!!
Had another great night outstanding music great friends but tried a new dish the bruschetta chicken sandwich without the bread it was delicious
It's a casual dress restaurant. Food and service were excellent.
The restaurant had more of just a bar feel. Themed but only by name and drink names.
I ordered a drink, had to ask for It three times and still never got it. At least I wasn’t charged for it.
I placed and order. No less then 35 minutes they told me it’s on it’s way out. The wrong dish, not what I ordered. Had to go in and reorder. Needless to say then rush cook for the dish I ordered was not a good thing as the rice was not cooked fully and crunchy.
Awful food and poor service
Amazing theme. good food and bottomless mimosas
The food was outstanding. The rack of ribs was amazing. Nice live Jazz music and you got the feel you were in New Orleans.
Highly recommend Bourbon Street
Arrived in Fullerton on Friday, Feb 15th. Looking for good food and we found it!
We had the special Cajun shrimp potato skins and N’awlins burger (big enough for two).
Wonderful service, great food and we were treated to a wonderful jazz group.
I would highly recommend this fun, casual place.
Great service by our waiter Tristan, and the food was excellent. I had the Pork Chop.and My wife have the Fried Chicken. Great Beer Selection as well.
I loved the food and the service. During our visit they had a very loud band that wasn't very good. Not the restaurant's fault, but I suggest that they should be more picky about which bands play.
We really went to hear the live music, we did have dinner. Generous portions, service was good, food ok.
Great Time on Friday Night - Service/People we amazing - great food - great music - close to home we walked - lovely evening - highly recommend! Have fun!
Had a great time good meal good friends good music this place reminds me of Cheers ...Kristy & Nick are the best
We had a party of seven and all ordered something different. Everyone in the party enjoyed their dish. The Sole was seasoned perfectly.
