When we go out to dinner we expect to have a nice relaxing evening. Well on the night we chose to go to Bourbon Street they were playing the Democratic debate on every TV with the sound up. If I wanted to watch the debates I could of stayed home. Not a great evening out.
Joe always makes our Bourbon Street experience great he knows what we like and what we don't 😉
This was a great place to grab a late Sunday lunch. Service was fabulous, great music. I had the jumbalaya which was average but the bread they served with it was excellent.
This was my second time at this restaurant... I went back because the food was good. The service was just as slow as the first time. Both times we weren't approached by a server for at least 25 minutes after being sat at a table. Both times we had reservations. It felt like we were invisible. I don't think we will be going back.
Live jazz music started at 7pm on the Friday night we were there. Big servings of fried steak and waffles and baby back ribs $20 each . Gumbo was spicy. Food wasn’t all that great. Not coming back
Larry was wonderful in serving us tonight. The food was excellent! Ordered the grilled cheese plate, pork chop and French dip and we were very impressed. Dessert was Bana’s foster and beignets. No disappointment there either. Friendly staff. Would definitely go back.
Was not very impressed with the fried chicken, it was ok
The decor, quality of the food and service were superior. The place smelled bad which seriously detracted from the experience. If they fix the bathroom odor that we experienced we’d be regulars because EVERYTHING ELSE WAS SUPERIOR. Food, service, decor, music all awesome. Fix the bathroom odor and you’ve got a winner.
Best jambalaya I’ve ever had!!
The food was not good. We had 2 servers and each one gave us wrong information if we had a question about the food. We ordered the fried chicken which came with mashed potatoes and creamed corn and had to send it back. The wings were not good. They were soggy and just tossed in buffalo wing sauce.
Live music was great. If you are visiting the Anaheim area. I highly recommend this place. Food was awesome.
Great date place, especially if you appreciate jazz. We were out-of-towners who were well taken care of by staff. Seemed like lots of locals too which means a lot to us as we search for non-chain, very unique places to eat, drink and mingle.
They are very accommodating & friendly. Food are big servings its worth the money spent. Will go back again.
Great, caring service and prepared food.
Music needs to GO BACK TO TRADITIONAL MARDI GRAS -during the day at least. :)
We had a team dinner at Bourbon Street on a busy Friday night. Parking can be a little tough, but there are enough spaces in the surrounding parking structure. Service was great all around, it was a team approach. Our dinner portions were generous, some plates are meant to be shared! We would come here again!
Waiter was awesome! Food great!!
Had another great night outstanding music great friends but tried a new dish the bruschetta chicken sandwich without the bread it was delicious
It's a casual dress restaurant. Food and service were excellent.
The restaurant had more of just a bar feel. Themed but only by name and drink names.
I ordered a drink, had to ask for It three times and still never got it. At least I wasn’t charged for it.
I placed and order. No less then 35 minutes they told me it’s on it’s way out. The wrong dish, not what I ordered. Had to go in and reorder. Needless to say then rush cook for the dish I ordered was not a good thing as the rice was not cooked fully and crunchy.
Awful food and poor service
Amazing theme. good food and bottomless mimosas
The food was outstanding. The rack of ribs was amazing. Nice live Jazz music and you got the feel you were in New Orleans.
Highly recommend Bourbon Street
Arrived in Fullerton on Friday, Feb 15th. Looking for good food and we found it!
We had the special Cajun shrimp potato skins and N’awlins burger (big enough for two).
Wonderful service, great food and we were treated to a wonderful jazz group.
I would highly recommend this fun, casual place.
Great service by our waiter Tristan, and the food was excellent. I had the Pork Chop.and My wife have the Fried Chicken. Great Beer Selection as well.
I loved the food and the service. During our visit they had a very loud band that wasn't very good. Not the restaurant's fault, but I suggest that they should be more picky about which bands play.
We really went to hear the live music, we did have dinner. Generous portions, service was good, food ok.
Great Time on Friday Night - Service/People we amazing - great food - great music - close to home we walked - lovely evening - highly recommend! Have fun!
Had a great time good meal good friends good music this place reminds me of Cheers ...Kristy & Nick are the best
We had a party of seven and all ordered something different. Everyone in the party enjoyed their dish. The Sole was seasoned perfectly.
Food & music were really good tonight had this sourdough bacon cheeseburger with fries..It was huge definitely share...liked it a lot but I actually prefer the ghost chili burger cranks it up a notch 😁
The fish sandwich slider was delicious and my husband really enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich. Fries were crispy and yummy. And while I loved the garlic aioli that came with the chips, I was a little disappointed that they were called cajun chips but really didn't have much cajun flavor. Still crispy and good with the dipping sauces. Service was excellent and we caught some live music on Saturday night as well (early dinner). Really wish they had a small size salad that I could have as an option with a slider.
Always a great time at Bourbon Street feel like family
Accommodating, fast and excellent service, friendly staff! What a wonderful group of people! Fair warning: Hard to have conversations if you want to talk to your friends/family. TV’s were distracting and the music volume is WAY too loud, even though the live music and the music playlist were nostalgic and perfect for the mood. My ears and my throat were not happy. But the food was worth every penny! My stomach and wallet were satisfied!
I had the Cajun Penne, spicy!!! but good. My better half had the fried chicken with spicy creamed corn, delicious!!!
The bartenders are awesome and make great drinks. A fun time is had by all.
Great service ! Very accommodating , our waiter keep on checking what our needs are ! Very nice guys very good service ! A great place to hang out great jazz music live band , food is interesting you feel like your in New Orleans ! Thanks for a great time !!
This is THEE Best place in Downtown Fullerton and then the Bowery is right next store which is awesome also !!!!
Both these places ROCK IT !!!
Live music at its finest !
Great restaurant /pub. Staff was awesome and fast; they took good care of us.
drinks were a little slow.. maritini was the 1st the bartender made way too strong! but, waiter offered to redo with no charge 2nd one was much better. could be better with a swirl of fruit or sugar lined glass.. Our waiter was very accomadating! The tots are so delicious:) & the tri-tip tacos were the bomb!!
Nothing about this place reminded me of New Orleans. The MTV music video style blasting constantly was not New Orleans. The hospitality was not New Orleans. The food was okay, but after having the jambalaya and Cajun pasta it made sense why the waiter recommended the bacon burger!
