Enjoyed the food. Seafood salad was missing the shrimp; only came with scallops. Good nachos and pasta and spinach salad.
Great food, slow service, very loud.
I must say this was my 4th time going there and evertime has been the same GREAT. The owner Peter is so personable he makes you feel like family. Our waitress Eleanor was wonderful she even took my granddaughter around the restaurant for a tour.
It was the best experience I've had. I would definitely recommend Bourbon Street to everyone 😀
We had a reservation. They gave us a high top table for six and told us we should have specified a regular table when we made the reservation even though that was not an option on Open Table.
The food was excellent! I wish and wish that some of the items on the mardi gras menu were included in the regular menu. The drinks were delicious! The music was good and the place was lively. I coconut cake was too dry. The appetizers and entrees were excellent! The service is a bit slow, which is something that I have experienced in the past too.
great food, great drinks, great atmosphere! enjoyed!!
Service was great
Our waitress Eleanor was wonderful. Fast and efficient and very personable
Food was very good
We will definitely return
I would have rated the food a 5 but the chicken tender appetizer was very dry. Also, I am not crazy about sitting at high tables with bar style chairs.
Good food, great service. Valet service available which saved a great amount of time. Overall great experience.
Great food and drinks! I’ve been there several times now and it has been perfect for each of those occasions.
Always good food - especially if you like Cajun spice.
Great restaurant and Eleanor his an incredible sever!!
My reservation was for 7pm and we came on time. It took about 30 minutes before we got seated because our table was not ready yet. It was a very cold evening and we were freezing while waiting. The food was not that good for the price. On the positive side, the service was good.
I'd been to Bourbon street a few times before and enjoyed it, but always thought it was a little pricey. Regardless, we took my cousin there for her birthday and did not have a good experience. My catfish Po'Boy sandwich was tasteless and mushy so I sent it back and order the BooCoo balls appetizer instead, which are usually amazing. This time they were frozen in the center. I sent those back and the manager apologized but I was a little surprised she didn't offer to comp a round of drinks or anything like that. At that point, everyone was finished with their meals and I did not want to order a third meal, so we left. Needless to say, we wont be going back.
The food is usually good but I ordered the price fixed red snapper and I don’t think it was red snapper. First time I’ve been disappointed with the food
Everything was great. I went there to celebrate my birthday and I loved it. Food is a little pricey. I ordered a burger and my friend ordered a steak. Both items came out basically a little rare. Would have preferred for the meat to be cooked a little longer. The mac and cheese is amazing! Would absolutely have that again.
Had a very nice lunch. Delicious seafood cobb salad with several large shrimps and scallops. Shrimp po'boy sandwich was very tasty. delicious pecan pie came with wonderful whipped cream. Excellent server - Daniella.
The food was not great. The lobster bisque soup was cold and my burger which I️ wanted med I rare was well done. I️ would not go back
We love this restaurant for brunch however people next to us were so loud it was horrible
I enjoyed the brunch food. I had French toast and bacon which was cooked very well. Drinks also were pretty good. I loved the ambience. I love the southern feel. Service was pretty slow. It was very hard getting a server (there wasn't even that many people). Definitely will come back. Enjoyed the food and the atmosphere.
Food was good. Service was very attentive and quick for a Saturday. The corn muffins were not as good as before and biscuits were salty. Generally their bread basket is amazing.
Everything was excellent. My friends and I each enjoyed what we ordered. I had the marinated skirt steak was was flavorful and tender. My friend loved her shrimp Po Boy and my other friend greatly enjoyed the Cowboy shrimp. The portion sizes were huge and we all had leftovers to take home. Even the "bread basket" had good treats in it. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Good food , drinks , a little loud but only by the bar .. not really a distraction.. like the environment
Food was delicious!!! Drinks were a little too strong( brunch ) switched to sangria, which was perfect.I would definitely return...
Their mac & cheese with pulled pork remains the best comfort food on Bell. Blvd.
Service was great. Food was tasty. Big portions. Biscuits in bread basket were delicious
Delicious food with real flavor. There are a lot of choices and I have never yet had a bad meal. The Cajun Sampler and any of the steaks are some of my favorites, but only try the Cajun options if you like spice as they have a real great kick! Servers are always attentive and pleasant. I am so glad this place has been a neighborhood staple for many years and I hope it continues for many years more.
The food was outstanding the waitress was pleasant and best waitress I've ever heard all in all we had a great time
Great service and amazing food at wonderful prices.
Great food, excellent, attentive service. The menu includes traditional NOLA fare and other options as well.
Rooftop dining was great.
Tasty and diverse menu. Terrific service. Nice environment. Lovely rooftop bar and dining.
I went with a group of friends for a birthday. We ordered from their Saturday brunch menu. There weren't a lot of people there at the time and the atmosphere was nice. The food was just OK; The omelette, taco, and french toast weren't anything special, but the crab cake benedict was good. Overall, this place was decent; food can be slightly improved.
When seated at a table, people care to talk. And not have to scream at their dinner companions to be heard. There does not need to be obnoxious, loud, non-discernable "music". Keep it in the bar. And not in the THREE dining rooms. Food is good and plentiful. And service is above average. Add flavor to your calamari which has none. LOVE your tuna wrap, but try a whole wheat, spinach or tomato wrap (not white flour, which I left on the side of the plate).
Food was excellent waitress Eleanor was on par with service overall we had a great time will surely recommend
We we're in and out in 45 minutes the service was terrible and our waitress was pretty rude. I ordered the fried chicken basket and by the time my food came the chicken was burnt and unappetizing. Would not be returning to this restaurant nor would I recommend.
Absolutely the WORST service ever. 2+ hours for lunch. Food took forever. Terrible excuses. No discounts for how awful it was except for a plate of dessert that no one ate and the check was wrong. This place just couldn't get it right that day.
I have frequented Bourbon Street many times for a variety of occasions (N Y Eve or Holiday time) and casual dinners or weekend brunch. Love the variety of the menu and the bar drinks are done right. The revamped rooftop makes this place more enticing. My only comment comes down to consistency of the food and the service. It is very hit or miss on both fronts. The things they get right generally are brunch, Cajun flavors and burgers. I've gotten food where while on the same plate, the temperature of the items are inconsistent (ie, fried mac and cheese, hot on the outside, cold on the inside). Service is case to case. If you have a large group, one server is fine but offer more "support staff" to help the server with clearing dishes or refreshing drinks.
Overall, a great place to dine and hang out. Excellent music and comfortable seating arrangements...great space for parties!
