Bourbon Steak by Michael Mina - Miami Ratings and Reviews
The food was great and the service was good. I ordered the rib cap which was cooked to perfection and the whipped potatoes which were delicious. The downside was that the place was very noisy, with loud music playing that could be heard everywhere. My waiter couldn't even hear my order without getting very close. They also had a Burgundy flight, which was overpriced at $35 for 3 very small tastes. I would have gotten more wine had I just ordered a glass of wine.
This is one of the best restaurants we have been to. We love steakhouses but this is not just your boring steakhouse, every meal had a perfection to it, had its own creativity. Everything was tasty, presentation was amazing, price was right, service was excellent, just honestly nothing bad to say. We will definitely be back and I strongly suggest this restaurant to others.
Service was non existent.
Had to refill our own water , didn't receive complimentary (and house specialty) French fries. Bread was only served after we noticed it on another table.
Never asked if we we needed anything during meal.
And service charge was included, I can understand why . First time I've seen that for party of two.
Just a real disappointment.
A wonderful venue for a family Thanksgiving dinner. Service and food were top notch. Prices were high, even by steakhouse standards. The $75 cowboy ribeye may have been the best steak I've ever eaten. Wine list was extensive but offered no budget options. Beautiful decor with a loud ambience. I think the Thanksgiving turkey menu should have offered options for the appetizer and dessert.
My only complaint: if you are paying $200 a person for dinner, the parking should be free rather than discounted.
We sit at the Bar and Jen is great. Drinks are excellent. The Fries are deadly and amazing. We shared the Tuna sashimi which was very good but the Rib Cap was amazing. So tender for a rib eye. Cooked perfectly. We love the restaurant. Not inexpensive, but the quality and the experience can't be beat.
Lost it's edge. Over hyped and way over priced for the quality of the food. Used to love it but after the last 3 attempts I won't be back. If it was fabulous like it used to be I wouldn't care that it was 1,000.00 meal for 4....but now I feel really ripped off. Remember the story "The Emperor's New Clothes"....?
It was obvious that people who were taking advantage of the Miami Spice menu were themselves taken advantage of. The small 5oz steak was so tuff I couldn't chew it. They replaced it with another tough piece. I questioned whether it was really "prime" and was "scorned" upon. Terrible attitude and not worth the price, even on Miami Spice
went for Miami Spice to try the restaurant. Bar is beautiful and excellent drinks by Jennifer. Makes Morton's in Aventura feel like a "Fridays" in comparison, no offense to Fridays. Food was excellent and the fries they give you are dangerously perfect! Our new favorite place for sure.
