Absolutely delicious. Service was outstanding. Great atmosphere. Definitely on the high end price wise. Will go back again. It was worth every penny.
I guess I went expecting too much. The wedge salad was just ok, the dressing a little too loose and the iceberg lettuce not very dense. The rack of lamb was very boring. No herb encrusted, no nothing, just 3 average lamb chops. My wife’s chicken was very salty. Very sad for the money. Actually very sad at any price. Makes me want to stay home and cook.
We were originally placed at a cramped table near the waiters station. The host noticed our displeasure and quickly moved us to a table more of our liking. The general manager quickly came over to make sure we were happy and introduced himself. Our waiter was fabulous and very attentive. The filets were cooked perfect and the side dishes great as well. I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a quality restaurant!
One of the best steak houses in South FL. Impeccable service and equally high quality meal! Always love coming back here. We had the Miami Spice menu and everything we ordered we’re perfect! Can’t say enough how I love this place!
Excelente service and very good food. It’s a certainty place to go.
Excellent, beautiful decoration and ambiance, pricey but worth it, very intimate, perfect for special occasions
Great food and excellent service!
Bourbon Steak was amazing as usual. Love the Miami Spice menu. Chef Gabe is great.
It was not my first time dinning here so I already knew what to expect. Top shelf!! The food is always on point and the cocktails are mixed well.
The only aspect that can throw this place off is the service and my guy Alberto was all over it! He definitely took it over the top. Had a great time!
Very over priced. the food was cold the churrasco steak was terrible and the filet minon was not good either.
We decided on Bourbon Steak to celebrate our 38th wedding anniversary. In spite of living less that 2 miles from the JW for the last 5 years we had never tried any of the restaurants.
This was an absolute success on all fronts.
The warm welcome, noting our anniversary, was very much appreciated .
Our server was very friendly and helpful.
We tried the Miami Spice dinner and my wife chose to upgrade the steak which was a great idea - it was truly amazing and well worth the up charge.
Every course was a delight and the desserts hit the spot.
They add an 18% service ti the check but I increased the gratuity to 30% as this was a memorable and terrific experience.
Yes, the chef and recipes were there but the servers made it all come though and seal the deal.
always excellent, food and service. and the ambience is amazing, kudos to the bar and wait staff! will be back as usual!
Amazing food, amazing service, beautiful place.
From the moment we walked in, the evening went beautifully. Being picky, not always the case these days !
My only critique was a not so friendly bartender who warmed up after we brought it to his attention.
The staff, managers, server incredibly warm and knowledgeable and amazing food!
They made a special anniversary even more special.
Can’t wait to come back...
It was very noisy The food was very good The service was good. I think you need to see how you can control the noise level.
I’ve been going to Bourbon for years and love the experience every time. Except for Friday night when we went for the Miami Spice but only to be told it was not served on Friday’s or Saturday. Service this time was not up to par. My steak for the first time ever was not cooked correctly then when served my corrected steak it was basically given to me like dog scraps. The cauliflower when asked for extra spice didn’t even taste spicy what so ever. Spoke to manager and chef. They took off 20 percent from my bill but then included 18 percent automatic service charge which was not earned. The entire hotel is changing for the worse. I just hope Bourbon does not. I hope our next dining experience is the usual “wow” factor that I’m used to.
Service was outstanding and the food delicious
The service is excellent. Our server was super nice. The fries were good but cold. All of the food was ok but lacked seasoning. The flavor was just ok. The snapper was the best thing I had.
Love this restaurant, but the steak from miami spice menu was horrible, low quality meat.
Anybody who has read my reviews knows Bourbon has always been our family favorite. It was a special occasion tonight as our daughters were leaving for college and our son is starting his sophomore year in the morning so this was our very special FAMILY night (weekend nights can be overrated so we chose Sunday). We chose our absolute favorite place, Bourbon, but wow..what a true disappointment. Because of the Spice menu, the restaurant (the kitchen) obviously could not handle the volume and truly neglected their regulars who were willing to pay the "regular" prices of the menu (rather than the value prices of the Spice menu). There must have been at least a 30 minute lag between our appetizers to our entree. By the way, only 1 out of 5 family members ordered the Spice menu and it was only because she thought the chicken entree was different from the menu chicken but she was incorrect...Anyway, the whole dinner started off on a wrong note...our drinks were not good. My gimlet that I've been ordering since the 'soft' opening of the restaurant was terrible as if the shaker was not properly cleaned and the lingering flavors ruined my gimlet drink. Then the lag in the entree was a damper...when our entrees arrived, my husband's skirt was SO DRY AND UNFLAVORFUL that he barely touched it.I ordered a chardonnay and asked for an oaky and buttery chardonnay and my server assured me the California one was the way to go over the French one. What a mistake! It was so acidic and absolutely horrendous. The sommelier came over and asked what was wrong. I explained and he said "no wonder why...the chardonnays are "unoaked" so of course, I would not like them if I had wanted an oakey chardonnay. This is such terrible service and such a disappointment. It was one thing after another which is very unlike Bourbon. In my honest opinion, Bourbon catered to the Spice patrons in the August months and neglected their regulars. Please rectify this!
I have enjoyed Bourbon Steak numerous times. I went for the Miami Spice menu and I suggest trying it. Trio fries are always great and the creme fraiche was outstanding. The gazpacho is good although the portion for the soup as well as the entree is very small. My strip was tiny and I asked for it Pittsburgh Rare and it was served medium rare and must have been under the lamps since it was not hot at all. Overall, very good steak size, temperature and taste could be improved.
Delicious, creatively prepared food. A wonderful food experience. The strawberry rhubarb dessert was wonderful with complex flavors. My only criticism was that my steak had a huge chunk of fat although what little meat that was present was tasty
Loved the food and the ambience and the service well worth the experience. Will highly recommend it and will hopefully return very soon. Thank you.
The ambiance is what I paid for. We did the Miami Spice Menu to see if we liked the restaurant before shelling out hundreds or thousands on a dinner. I am allergic to Balsamic Vinegar and the appetizer, though there was no mention on the menu along with all the other ingredients; that there was any, was used as decor and all over the app. I had to send it back and they prepared a new one for me. It came out very fast and was different than the other girls.
I ordered the steak prepared medium and with nothing on it. Thank goodness I thought to ask if they put butter on their steaks and the server said they did. I asked for no butter on mine. A good, fresh steak needs nothing! The plate was very pretty, very very small piece of steak. I took one bite and it was RAW; not medium or even medium rare. Downright raw. The cooked it longer for me.
The desserts were very pretty; though I was not impressed with the taste.
All in all, I would not return to Bourbon Steak. When we left the restaurant, I said to my friends that I had the weirdest taste in my mouth and that something was repeating on me. A really good restaurant with fresh ingredients - that does not happen.
The server wasn’t good!
My steak came out completely wrong, they never brought the bread until after the steaks were served even though we asked multiple times. They never asked if we wanted another order of french fries even though it was empty and the quality of the steak was extremely chewy. I’ve been multiple times and this was the first time or I would say that the experience was actually poor
What can one say. Excellent food and service says it all!
We arrived on time, the hostess took us to a table in the bar. We had a reservation that we did a week in advance for the restaurant. She told us there were no svailable tables , only gave us a table when I told her that I was going to review at Open Table. There were at least six empty tables !!!!
Food and service were excellent, but the hostess ruined part of our evening. Too bad!!!
Always a great dinner. Steaks were perfectly done as ordered. Caesar salads were excellent also. Service is tops. A lovely dining room for a very pleasant experience.
Great anniversary dinner. Service and the food were outstanding.
Always the greatest. Best service staff and chef in miami
Excellent spot in the area , food and drinks were really good . Atmosphere was very bright and welcoming , not dark and gloomy like some restaurants. I will definitely go back and try some more drinks and other things in the menu, it’s also centrally located so u can walk around enjoy the area after your meal. The service was also great and the bar area also looked welcoming
A great start to Miami Spice. My wife’s snapper was superb. My steak was well prepared. The beet salad outstanding and the deserts (peanut butter and peach financier) just great. Had a rising sun drink and will return. Hadn’t been here in years and this place needs to be back on my regular list. Can’t forget the duck fat fries. The best!
great food and service
Anibal and his staff are always warm and welcoming, and exceed expectations each and every time. Craig is always there to pick out that perfect wine. The food is spectacular, and the chefs imigination never fails to satisfy the tastebuds. Bourban remains my favorite restaurant in Miami for celebrations and the intimate date night.
Great food, great service!
