Large party for dineLA. Great food, excellent service. Best restaurant in Glendale.
My steak was wonderful and the service was exceptional, too! PJ was great!
We had a very enjoyable dinner with excellent service. The waiter was simply outstanding as was the sommelier who suggested an excellent wine for our meal. The food was prepared just as promised and was very tasty. Nice ambiance with moderate noise levels. Great choice of a restaurant for a get together or a special occasion.
We went for my son's birthday. Food is good, ambience good, noise level high on Friday night with piano live which is a nuisance for family gathering. It is pricey and you are looking at $120pp with one round drink. But great experience
Service was excellent and the food was amazing!
The food here is fabulous and the staff was very attentive, friendly and accommodating. They even had a birthday card waiting for my friend that was waiting on the table for us before we arrived, so thoughtful. I felt like it took a while for the waiter to take our order, but I think he was just being courteous and was giving us time to decide what we wanted. Service was also a little slow but I thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. We were there for an hour and a half and enjoyed almost everything (I felt the shrimp cocktail was lacking a little bit as well as the Caesar salad), but I would confidently say that nothing we had was bad. This was my first time eating at the restaurant, I usually pop in to the bar. My steak was medium well and not medium like I requested, but it was so tasty that I didn't bother complaining. My friend's steak was clearly medium so it was easy to spot the difference. The truffle mac n cheese was outstanding. I will definitely be coming back.
High end menu and service from everyone. Exceptional evening
New Year’s Eve. Seated for reservation 45 minutes late, power went out halfway through, wine pairings came late. All of this for over $400. Do NOT recommend.
My party and I enjoyed our dinner New Year's Eve night. Despite a hectic night, our server was friendly and prompt. Definitely coming back.
It's pretty COLD for the patio table which is not inside the dining room. It looks like an quick extra build for the special day. Feeling very isolate to the whole restaurant. Barely can hear the live band.
Went to Bourbon for New Years Eve dinner and it was amazing in every way! Beautiful ambience, food was perfectly cooked, service was wonderful as well. Bc it was New Years they had a live band, which was the only thing I’d have changed bc we sat very close and it was hard to converse with my party bc the tables are large and round. Overall I had a great time and an even greater meal! Definitely 5 stars in my book!
Excellent steak. Overpriced, but tasty
Good location for me to walk to! Cannot do it often, because it is too expensive, but I enjoyed it.
This was the second time our family has celebrated Christmas Eve dinner at Bourbon Steak. My son and I split the Wagyu Tomahawk. It brought tears to my eyes because it was that good! All our sides were superb and we shared multiple ones.
The holiday drinks were strong and delicious. We will be sure to include Bourbon Steak for our holiday celebration every year.
Wonderful Christmas Eve family dinner.
Very friendly and professional service.
The food was fantastic! The salmon and pork entrees we had were cooked perfectly as requested. The complimentary appetizer of three different seasoned french fries was a nice touch. To top it all off, the service was impeccable. It was a great experience and would highly recommend!
Great service by the sommelier Kristin. 👍🏼🍷
Bourbon steak in Glendale is excellent. In a way, it’s like an old-time supper club. There is a pianist or small jazz group in one corner. The scene is lively and energetic but not too loud. A knowledgeable sommelier and attentive wine service add class. Fish was Michael Mina’s original love, and the fish dishes here are consistently good. Our overall steakhouse choice.
Always enjoy dining here!!! Class all the way!!! Food is always fresh and cooked just right!
My husband’s strip steak was excellent—flavorful and cooked perfectly medium rare. My salmon was tasty, though seriously under-seasoned, and just slightly warmer than lukewarm. You could tell it had been cooked before the steak was done and held to be served at the same time as the steak. Sides were good but not stellar—I wouldn’t order them again.
The service (Giuseppe) was stellar!
One steak, one salmon, two veggie sides, one cocktail—almost $200. OUCH!
The service was very good. We enjoyed the variety and the sides were delicious.
Great food & service
Took my husband on a "date night", and as we had been there 2 years ago for a Christmas Eve dinner and loved it, it was a slam dunk. The booths are best. Comfortable with views of the bar and dining room, they run around the window.
Our food was "foody first rate" and the service - best in Los Angeles. We will be back.
First visit. My wife and I had an early Thanksgiving dinner. The place was fully booked and that contributed to the overall ambiance; perhaps the restaurant would have a better atmosphere at other times. We had a corner booth; my background view was a wall. The table in the booths were way too high, up to the mid-chest. They needed to be 3-4 in lower for comfortable eating (we are not too short, I'm 5-10, my wife is 5-6). We had cocktails, our dinner orders were taken, but the appetizer bread arrived vary late, seconds before the starters came. I know they had to turn tables, but my soup got cold before I could get to it. The rest of the timing of the service was better, but we felt rushed. The service was generally good except for the above hiccup, and the food was quite good as well.
Overall, when you spend decent amount of money, we like to be able to enjoy the place. Sadly that was not the case... Perhaps it was due to the Thanksgiving rush, maybe the restaurant would perform better during usual days. But the experience made us regret that we didn't chose Gwen instead...
The positives: the restaurant is beautiful. The bartenders, waiters, and hostesses are terrific. Good wine list.
The negatives: Food is overpriced - the steaks are on par in terms of quality with any good big city steak house, but are over-priced by about 30-40%.
I love going to this particular Bourbon steak. It reminds me of an old boys club of movers and shakers. It is very similar to the Capital Grille in Washington DC. Food is excellent. You must take a pic of any ribeye on the menu. My usual is the cowboy ribeye. But they have several other styles.
The service is really good and good for date and anniversary
We went to celebrate a birthday, and the staff accommodated the birthday boy's dairy allergy (almost) perfectly. It was a nice touch that they brought out a scoop of dairy-free sorbet on a beautiful plate (with "happy birthday" written in chocolate powder). The wagyu tomahawk wasn't as tender as expected, but it was still very nice.
We went here for my husband's birthday and it was fabulous! Our server was very attentive, provided us with great recommendations. The food was served in a timely manner, just the right amount of time in between courses. The ambience was slow and relaxed.
Great place for celebrations or a nice little date with your honey. Would absolutely recommend to all.
As a vegetarian i would like more choices. I like yo take friends to this restaurant but i am tired of only the vegetsble platter, which wasn't that good this time. I only ate a bit of it...maybe im bored with it. I need protein also.
This is our favorite restaurant when we come to see a play at the Antaeus. I highly recommend it!
Great food - on the house truffle fries & bread, duck spring roll, steak (pre cut), truffle mac & cheese, drinks, dessert.
Beautiful interior, comfy seats, enough table space.
Live entertainment - pianist
Free 3 hrs valet parking in front of Nordstrom. No ticket needed as they do it via text messages. But don’t forget to ask for validation thru text as well.
Very noisy. Especially if you’re seated in the middle of the room.
Excellent dinner with dear friends. Celebrated getting engaged, and the staff took very good care of us. The steak was delicious, sides were fantastic, and all around a wonderful experience. There were more kids here than I normally see at an upscale steakhouse, but I guess it’s because of the mall.
Tomahawk Steak was great for two, the brussels sprouts were perfect and the service was amazing and memorable.
A remarkable experience from start to finish! One of the best steaks I have ever had. The service was impeccable and it is now my go to Steakhouse in the Los Angeles area.
Repeat customer; another excellent dining experience. Partial to the sides and salads. First class wine list. Top service.
Very good service. Food was delicious. The location is awesome. Just a wonderful to wine and dine.
The entrees are terrific but don't overlook the side dishes. Great flavors, generous portions to share. Back dining room is quiet. First class service.
