Our server was old school great! Food to perfection. Everything lovely. It’s pricey but worth it.
The service was outstanding. Every staff member I interacted with went above and beyond. Especially Courtney.
The truffle Mac n cheese is intense but delicious. I had the wagyu which was stellar.
Very classy, fancy vibe. Loved the live music!
Beyond impressed with service and everything else. Bravo!!
Had a very nice dinner for my wife's Birthday. Food was excellent. Was a little disappointed that we were provided the same number of French fires as tables with 2 people, but they were still very good. Steaks were great, and sides were also excellent. It was a little loud from the crowd noise, which made it hard to talk to people on other side of table. Jazz music was also excellent.
Food and service was outstanding! It’s very expensive but worth it for special occasions. This was my third time dining here. Lighting was a bit too dark for my tastes.
Outstanding as usual
Food was delicious and very well prepared. Excellent whiskey choices. Very nice evening out.
Everything was great, except we weren’t aware of special menu for the day. We’ve been there a few times and were ready to order items from regular menu.
Excellent food but still had the limited Valentines Day set menu on Feb 15 which was a turn off.
Service was amazing. Food was incredible! Justin made sure Valentine’s Day was one to remember. Best steakhouse in LA.
Food and service were great. Nice ambiance. We had the fixed course 2020 Valentines menu and nothing disappointed.
Their steaks are amazing. Better than Mastros and Cut. Service is very very slow and not up to par. The place is very noisy. Very hard to have a conversation. Food is great!
Decent service, little pricey for what you get. Ruth Chris and Fleming’s steak would be a 10, Bourbon would rate a 6. The shrimp cocktail was nice size, the sauces are to complicated. Need better bread. The complementary fries were nice, the sauces not so good. Bake Potato was big and great, the bacon add sucked. Good drinks, good desert. Nice Waitress.
I have taken family, friends, and guests to Bourbon Steak House on Brand Boulevard in Glendale CA numerous times in the past. This time was probably the final time. It was the last night of Dine LA, the service was excellent as usual, but the food--specifically wagyu beef, vegetables, and dessert were mediocre at best. I have to guess that the original chef has been replaced, and perhaps even the restaurant has been bought and sold to another corporate entity since I began dining there. The famed wagyu beef was riven with gristle and was surprisingly tasteless. Sad to say, but we're moving on to another steak house.
Excellent service and delicious food
Outstanding as always. Dine LA menu was more than I deserve. Thank You.
Appetizers and sides were mediocre- we had the shrimp cocktail that came with very weak cocktail sauce and a weird mustard sauce. The duck spring rolls were pretty good, but nothing special. The A5 wagyu steak was very good, but not as good as I've had elsewhere. The bone-in NY was meh. The desserts were great! Banana tarte tatin was amazing and the lil fresh made donuts were insanely good. The place is beautiful, and our server was so so good. She knew everything. The sommelier left something to be desired, though the wine we ended up getting was delicious, she didn't seem so knowledgable when I mentioned the types of wine I like. Anyway, the place is good, not great. For the money I spent ($300/person) I'd go to one of the Beverly Hills steak houses next time.
Amazing food and service, we will definitely be back!
Classy and romantic ambiance for dinner. Happened to eat here during DineLA. Had an amazing set 3 course meal. Everything was delicious but my Filet Mignon was, by far, the best. Our waitress was very courteous and attentive. All around a great evening.
On our date, we selected the Dinela menu and everything was delicious. The portions were very filling. It felt like we were eating a meal worth more than $59. First course was salad and pasta. For the main course we added on roasted bone marrow as an accompaniment to our 10 oz wagyu steaks. Then to top it all off dessert. We ended up walking around The Americana to digest everything.
The service was impeccable and the waiters/staff were very polite & gave us great recommendations. As well as the food, it was really good 👌🏼
The food was excellent and exceeded my lofty expectations. My party and I were treated very well and our waiter Giuseppe was very courteous and helpful. I look forward to eating at this establishment again!
The vegan dishes were not as described. The sous chef then made a second meal, which was much better and took the time to come to the table to describe the dish. While the filet cuts were good, the ribeye steak was horrible. The wine expert had an attitude when we asked a question that did not pertain to wine.
I attended the dineLA and the entire experience was amazing. Starting with the crafted cocktails. The complimentary fries were amazing. The steaks came out perfectly cooked. We left happy and overly stuffed.
This was our first experience at Bourbon Steak. I chose this restaurant based mostly on previous reviewers. We were not disappointed; the service, food and ambience were all outstanding.
Our server, PJ made us feel at home and provided a very knowledgeable discourse on menu items. The service was attentive, but not overbearing and not rushed. The selected items off the menu and the tasting portion, were all cooked perfectly.
We will most definitely return.
Friendly service, elegant and warm. Best filet mignon I ever had in my life.
Already recommended it! Had a great time the drinks were almost as fantastic as the food
The Hamachi Rolls were to die for.....those stood out for me!!! All the food was well prepared and the serving staff was awesome....thank you we will definitely be back!
Our experience started with PJ who is an excellent server who took the time to strike up a conversation with us. He remembered what I enjoyed from my last visit. Such great service as he is extremely personable.
we started with drinks and ordered the Japanese celebration which came with an excellent presentation with strawberry infused glass filled with Nikka Coffey. It’s such a rare find of whiskey and certainly smooth and enjoyable.
I ordered the bone marrow which was full of flavor and paired perfectly with the grilled butter toast. We also had the brussels sprouts which were caramelized, had a good crunch and also spicy and sweet, absolutely delightful. The purée potato was made with the perfect consistency of smooth texture and flavored nicely.
My entree was the ribeye with half a lobster accompaniment. I ordered it rare and it came out just right. The lobster was a generous serving cooked perfectly and both melted in my mouth.
Overall, the service, food, and company were all spot on and although on the pricier end, worth the experience.
Aside from one of the tables next to us getting kicked out and needing to be escorted out, the food was pretty good. The wine pairing wasn’t worth it, at $65 for 3 glasses of wine (1 of the 3 being dessert wine), but at least I know for the future. Overall, a little on the pricey side considering what it is, but the service was good so I’ll give a third try at some point.
I had a magnificent time for New Years Eve! We ordered the 20 ounce rib eye steak with vegetables. The steak was great and the ambience was very beautiful. We were treated like royalty and managment was extraordinary and made sure we were satisfied with their service. I want to thank Justin, he was one of the managers that made us feel welcome and provided outstanding service. We will be returning soon!!
Great service! Beautiful setting! Wine service was
Superb! A most enjoyable evening! 🤗
Outstanding in every way! We had the lobster pot pie which was so delicious, as were the New York strip steak and duck fat fries. Such a great experience.
This place provides a five star luxury experience from the moment they greet you to the services provided by their staff. Their specialty drinks are delightful and the food is superb. I highly recommend this place for a date or special occasion.
Took my family to Bourbon Steak for a celebratory dinner. We had an exceptional meal. After a rocky start a few years ago this establishment has redeemed themselves multiple times over. Quality of food and service is consistently high, steaks are great, sides delicious, and service very attentive. Happy to be a multiple returning customer with positive things to say.
Great as usual
