I am always super happy every time I dine at Bourbon. Highly recommend for awesome outings with friends and family. Top tier service and awesome food.
Ellen our server was excellent. She was attentive had great suggestions everything was prompt and right on time. Food was outstanding. Steak was cooked to perfection
My son’s 30th birthday celebration.
Food is great! My ribeye was delicious - wish it had a bit less fat, but overall good flavor. Mashed paotoes are amazing. Wine was awesome!
A little bit uneven but an overall enjoyable evening. The real treat was our server, Ellen, who was just great. Excellent suggestions and super awesome person.
The mains were great. My steak was perfect and delicious. My wife opted for beef tartare as a main and loved it. The misses were the apps. Opted for a special lamb ravioli that was just okay, as was the Pork Belly Pancit Noodle dish. That looked awesome but just fell short.
Nice wine selection and great sommelier.
We will definitely be back and recommend it to anyone.
My girlfriend and I celebrated our two year anniversary here on a Saturday night. The staff provided complimentary champagne, desert and a thoughtful note. The food was amazing, we had the filet Mignon & the brick chicken as the main dishes, both were cooked to perfection. Low lighting and live piano made the ambiance perfect for a romantic dinner. This place is a bit pricey, but they take care of their guests.
the service was excellent and the food was too. super friendly staff and the food was amazing!
Without hesitation, we would recommend Bourbon Steak and already have to several people.
A wonderful time celebrating a birthday. The staff was warm and inviting as always. Super great bar program! Amazing food. I had the lobster pot pie and the shrimp cocktail. Literally the best ever!
Always a great evening at the Bourbon. Enjoyed great service and food and friends!
Bourbon Steak is hands-down the best steakhouse in that part of town. I had the bone-in Cowboy Ribeye, medium rare. The marbling and consistency of the steak is hard to forget! Felt like A5 Wagyu at a fraction of the cost. The seasoning is not overpowering that you can't taste the steak. Still thinking about it days after my most recent dinner at Bourbon!
A great dining experience!
A wonderful evening from the time we arrived and greeted by the General Manager until we finished desert the entire staff was on point.
Awesome! Food, drinks, service and desert were on point! Well done!
Bourbon Steak was absolutely fabulous for our 25th Anniversary. The staff was wonderful, food was exceptional! We both thought our steak was one of the best we’ve ever had! We have found a new fav!
Everyone was super friendly, attractive, and knew what they were doing. Decor was very nice. Our booth was spacious, all couples were seated in large booths. Our team leader/server was super. Food was great! The ONLY thing that could have been better was the strip side of the porterhouse.
We were running late for our reservation, but the hostess was very understanding and accommodating. The service was outstanding! The guest of honor was made to feel extra special. The appetizers were delicious and creative. The meals were excellent. The dessert was amazing! This is our third Bourbon Steak we have had the opportunity to visit and it’s another winner. Michael Mina is 3 for 3! We look forward to our next Bourbon Steak meal anyplace, anytime!
I chose to dine at Bourbon Steak for my boyfriend's special birthday dinner based on the reviews here, and it did not disappoint. In fact, it far exceeded my expectations. While the meal was very pricy, the food was outstanding and the service was impecable. My boyfriend nearly cried his steak was so good! Our server was so sweet and made special accomidations because I am vegetarian without me asking at all, including offering an off-menu vegetarian option that I ended up getting (and was equally fantastic as our other food items). We received a fry flight, and surprisingly, the pickle fries were a clear winner at our table, even though my boyfriend generally hates pickle flavored items. In addition to our amazing food, the cocktail menu had some very unique offerings and I was very impressed with the quality, freshness, and balance of flavors in the ones we ordered. This was easily one of the best dining experiences either of us has had, and I would highly recommend Bourbon Steak for a special occasion.
Bourbon Steak is a true fine dining restaurant in every sense of the word. I've dined at other Michael Mina restaurants, and they all live up to the highest standards. It's almost shocking to find a restaurant of this quality in the middle of Glendale, and I love it.
The food at this restaurant is outstanding. I'm not a meat eater, but I understand from others in our party that if you're a steak eater, this is the place to order steak. The quality of the meat and the preparation was first rate. For those of us who are more in the seafood lane, the grilled octopus got rave reviews, the branzino was excellent, and the lobster pot pie was out of this world. Great place to celebrate a special occasion.
Great wait staff, drinks were inventive, steak was expensive, sides good.
Amazing evening with Master Giuseppe! Let him guide you. Fantastic recommendations. Great table touch from the entire team. Highly recommended.
Service was very attentive. Servers were knowledgeable about the menu. We did not want for anything. Alex our server was personable and made our experience outstanding. Though it was a holiday, we were not rushed in or out. The food was excellent and nicely proportioned.
Always a Great Experience ! Quality Food and excellent service
Everything was amazing. Alex took great care of us!
We tried this based on the Name - we're big fans of the Drover Steakhouse in Omaha which features a whisky soaked steak, and hoped that there might be a bourbon steak on the menu. Not happening, although they did have several versions of the ribeye that's our favorite. We tried the cowboy bone-in ribeye and it was pretty good. The surprise treats were the appetizer French fries with various flavorings (Barb loved the garlic fries, I was partial to the deli version), the mushroom sides (fascinating saute sauce), and the Parkerhouse rolls, all of which I recommend. Service was excellent throughout, although we did have to move tables, because the first was so tippy we would have dumped out drinks. We're still looking for the ultimate steakhouse in LA, so only four stars here, but we'll probably be back.
Staff was amazing. Food was wonderful. It was our first time in and we had a great time.
We have come to love the staff and service received at this pearl of a restaurant in the Americana. The service is always beyond great and the food is perfect. We enjoy the piano playing in the background- but not too loud to make us shout at each other.
Service was great. Food was amazing. We had a tomahawk steak and lobster. My husband was so satisfied with his birthday dinner.
Bar is limited, valet parking was to full to use and if you use the American valet service good luck you may have to wait 30 minutes and find guest behind you getting their car long before you.
Steak Tatar was excellent, chicken was good and so were the scallops. Because of parking issues, probably won’t be going back.
Yum. Great service and exceptional food.
From the moment we walked in, we knew this was the right choice for our son's low-key 16th birthday celebration. The service was attentive and always helpful; the food was delicious – we tried a number of menu items, standouts were the Delmonico Rib Eye and the Brussels Sprouts, with kudos to the Salmon as well. The birthday card they presented to my son, from the staff, was a nice added touch. It's an "occasion" restaurant, for sure, but when the occasion arises, we'll be back.
The complementary fries are really good; especially, the dill fries.
The octopus was just ok. I wouldn't order it again...kind of tasteless, very little octopus and too much potatoes!
The filet mignon was one the best I've tasted.
The lamb shank was NOT good! Too much fat, very little taste, the meat was tough (I was told it was braised for 24 hours...more like 45 minutes!), and the tabbouleh was under-cooked.
The dessert: the chocolate cream pie gets an F. It was not fresh and not much substance to it. The banana on top of puff pastry (with ice cream) was really good.
Everyone was very nice, friendly, and professional. Great service.
Such a wonderful birthday dinner at Bourbon Steak over the weekend. The staff treated us so well, the steaks were exceptional, and the truffle Mac n cheese (with shells, rather than macaroni) is a must.
Literally one of the best meals I've ever had! The Earl grey broccoli is a must try!
They went above and beyond for my anniversary. Greatly appreciated.
Ribeye steaks weren’t the best we’ve had. Way more fattier than I like it. The black pepper was overpowering the taste of the meat. Lobster pie was delicious. Ahi was delightfully fresh and tasty. Sides were tasty (mac and cheese, asparagus). Best old fashioned cocktail I’ve ever had. Exceptional tea service. Great service by waiters. Pleasant ambiance.
I definitely enjoyed the brunch. This was my second time at this restaurant. Great staff and great vibe.
The Japanese whiskey ceremony was not as elaborate as before. The piano music was rather chaotic, not as smooth as in the past. The creme brûlée we were served for dessert was barely 1/4 of an inch deep, it was like scraping the mixing bowl. All of this was not consistent with the price of the meal.
Incredible service and exquisite meals. Their attention to detail and our needs was impeccable. Complimentary wine toast for our anniversary as well as dessert. My husband, who is very picky with his steaks, was won over by the Australian tomahawk ribeye and immediately abandoned our go-to steakhouse for BS. He's already planning when we can go back.
Great place , excellent service, food was delicious all around & the bar was fully stocked. Could not believe they had Licor 43 at the bar very hard to find in L.A. bar scene. Will be back again for sure.
