Keeping with the nation’s capital’s emphasis on power daytime dining, BOURBON STEAK is one of the first Michael Mina restaurants to serve lunch.

Rockwell Group of New York composed a design scheme which reflects the elegant informality of Mina’s modern American cuisine, while also paying tribute to the classical stature of the hotel. Natural materials and crafted accents surround the space, from seeded and rubbed glass, to stitched leather and wood.

the Crab Cake was amazing, the Quinoa Berger was fabulous and those who had the Cobb Salad with steak were thrilled. And the service was appropriately attentive and not overbearing.

I had an amazing time! The food and service was excellent. The pricing wasn’t even bad for how great the experience was. I highly recommend this place especially if you have never been to an authentic steakhouse before!

The food was amazing as was the service. The music was a touch loud. Then again it wasn’t my taste, so perhaps if it were I wouldn’t have cared.
This dinner was the second experience for us at Bourbon and it won’t be the last.

The service was so, so, in the beginning, but picked up rapidly after that! .....Food was excellent, plenty to choose from. The appetizers and entrees were delicious! The atmosphere, and Valet service were great!!...I went home full!

With a wide open dining room, we were seated at the worst table in the house right next to the kitchen and the server traffic. I asked to be moved and caught a little attitude. Then my fish filet smelled and tasted "fishy" and worst of all had numerous bones in it; and then, my girlfriends steak was so tough that we sent both entrees back. I'd expect food like that for $9.99 an entrée, not $45+ per entrée. They gave a us a free dessert to make up for it...wow. We likely will only go back for a burger at the bar.

I like the restaurant but think it is overpriced for a hotel restaurant. I go to other places this expensive, and the bar is nice, but the restaurant itself is rather plain and not what you expect for a "fancy" dining option that costs so much.

Superb food, by far the best Steak in D.C. (wagyu is a must) We travel to D.C. often, & enjoy dinning here every time we are in town. You will want to have a reservation, they have a tendency to be very busy on the weekends and evenings. Excellent wine list with several serving size options. Wait staff is great, however, on occasion, when they are busy, service has been a little slow with regards to drink service and requesting you tab. It's a must stop dining experience while you are in D.C. you will not be disappointed.

Everything from making the reservation to our last bite was phenomenal. It was a wonderful birthday experience for my husband and they really make the time you spend at the restaurant exceptional. The menu is expensive but each item is worth it and you will leave satisfied and thinking about your next visit. I will have to save up to go again, definitely pricey! But I would do it all over again.

Overall great experience. Very attentive staff, little coordination problems sometimes, but very friendly and enthusiastic.
Amazing steaks and food overall, including the spectacular desserts.
Great wine selection.
Very busy space, maybe not for a quiet dinner, but although upbeat, still nice with kids as well.

Table wasn’t ready for 20 minutes after the reserved time. Service team acknowledged it but did little to compensate. Food was very average and generally disappointing for what we’ve been used to at Bourbon Steak. Restaurant was overrun with guests. Not a 4S experience. Not sure we’ll be back any time soon. Hostess was horrible.

This was our second visit and it just as great the second time as it was the first. To start we had great appetizers that were off the charts. The roasted beet soup was unbelievable. The short ribs got great accolades. The steaks were perfectly prepared. The bone-in 35 day dry aged NY strip was one of the best steaks I have ever had. Another member of our group said to not miss the seafood as the scallops were very, very good. Save room for dessert as the Baked Alaskan was very, very good. Make sure that you take advantage of the signature drinks from a talented bartender. The service was very attentive....our water glasses were always topped off. I would highly recommend Bourbon Steak for any occasion.

This was our second time coming in. Absolutely love this place. Service is impeccable. Food is incredible. Every time it’s a memorable experience. I wish I remembered our servers name, but he was incredibly tall if that helps? The head som was also incredible. Will definitely come back!! If they accommodated large groups we would be back this weekend! See you soon!
