Bourbon Pub – Santa Clara
Bourbon Pub – Santa Clara is on the ground floor of Levi's Stadium near Gate F on Tasman Drive, adjacent to the Museum, Tours Center and Retail store.
Average food and drink, nice vibe when it’s busy and there’s a game on.
We were seated by front door. When door opened it was very cold and uncomfortable.
Didn’t record our OpenTable visit even though we mentioned it at arrival and departure. Didn’t prepare our cocktails properly and took a long time when delivered. When entree arrived asked for a side of fries and was told in five minutes . Wait staff didn’t place the order, the remembered and brought after we completed meal. Tried to make it right by buying us an after dinner drink.
The problem is that the wait staff seems totally focused on large groups and leaves couples dining unattended.
The place was relatively quiet. However as usual the service & attention was impeccable. We had one of my favorite servers Vilai. The chef also brought up a new pasta dish for us to taste. It was for a future planned menu item. It was delicious. Overall👍👍👍
$ 40.00 for a mediocre Caesar salad with steak added, poorer table service at lunch
I ordered the steak sandwich which cost ~$20. The "steak" was a thinly sliced piece of steak which was filled with fat / gristle. Had I not been at a business lunch, I would have returned the food. Service was great but food was unacceptable.
Each month, we visit Bourbon Pub to play trivia. I called ahead the day of our reservation and specified that we were playing trivia and asked for a table near the trivia reader. Upon arrival, we were seated as far from the trivia reader as possible (near the door). I asked to be re-seated because our previous experiences proved you can't hear. A manager assured me that we'd be able to hear - NOPE!!! Other patrons were trying to talk over the trivia and continued to get louder and louder so finally someone went to stand by in the "trivia section" and would come back to repeat the question to the table. The food, as always is good although a little pricey, but the server was fair at best. We seem to have the same guy every month and cringe each time. He's forgetful and doesn't write down the orders so something always seems to be missing.
Lobster pot pie was delicious!
Food continues to go downhill. Latest example is chicken tacos with unappealing chicken meat inside (bland, tasteless). Prior example is poke appetizer with very little poke inside....
Everything was fine until we paid the bill. We noticed that we were charged an extra 3 dollars on our entre orders. Seems our server failed to tell us that if we substituted a salad or other options for the standard fries there was an extra charge. This is not mentioned on the menu either. Again we had already paid when we brought this up. She apologized and brought over the manager who apologized. Thought he might offer a free drink, maybe a free dessert but no he walked away. I could name 100 restaurants that would have offered us something but not this place. Won’t be returning and just heads up if you go there and want to sub for fries it will cost extra.
The poke was terrible. I would advise that it gets taken off the menu. Other food was ok. Drinks were good and the server was nice.
Great location in Levi stadium and one of only a few decent places in the area. Food is just ok but nice atmosphere and service.
Food was decent. Drinks were on point. Service was slow.
Food and service was excellent!
Made reservations to watch the Oregon as we were in town for 49ers-Rams. Our initial waiter was great. As I mentioned you picked this place to watch the game due to all the screens. We ordered a couple appetizers and a beer to start, but next thing we know we finish our appetizers and they started cleaning our table, taking our place settings and menus. We had planned on ordering dinner and more drinks as well. Our new waiter would not return to take any additional orders, finally after nearly 30minutes of being ignored we managed to order another drink and some entree’s. Probably the worst service/place to catch a game ever. We would’ve spent more money had we not felt like they were trying to get rid of us.
Quite pricey, but the whisky options are very nice -- too expensive for a single shot but the tasting was pleasant and informative. Our waiter was initially attentive but then disappeared near the end of our meal. Another server/bus person caught on that we were looking for ours and came to our aid. Hopefully she kept that cash tip in her pocket and didn't share with her disappearing colleague.
Not my first visit, and not my last but I'll have to save my pennies up again in order to afford another visit.
Always an amazing time at Bourbon Pub in Levis! Great food Friendly service and lots of laughs
Always love The Pub, the management staff is exceptional and the tator tots & nachos are worth the price of admission :-)
Hamburger very good - Poke appetizer was very poor - minuscule portion, hard to see or taste the fish.
This place was awesome! Took my daughter to OTR II with the Bourbon Pub the concert a great mother daughter night. Definitely a great gem.
We have been here before and we were truly disappointed this time. We went here before a foitball game to have few drinks and quick bite. The bill was almost $800 for a party of 10. But keep in mind there were three kids and two seniors that didn’t eat or drink much. The service was horrible and the food not that great. Will go back again but hopefully everything will be better next time.
Had a reservation at 4pm. Didn't let us in to sit until 4:10, service was mediocre at best, food was good, but $95 for ribs and a burger was way out of control.
pricey food with very tiny portions. food not as described on the menu.
Great service. Food is okay.
Way overpriced for average food. a good location and ambiance only go so far.
We were there for a special occasion and we were taken care of well. Food was tasty and creative. The menu is pricey for a pub and it adds up as the waiter asks, such would you like to add avocado without stating it is extra and how much. Overall good experience.
Celebrating our sons 22nd birthday. Incredible night and great service and great food! We will definitely be back!
Fantastic food selection. Energetic vibe. Great managers and wait staff.
We had the burgers which were char-grilled perfectly.
Their kale salad was dry and unfinished as the salad dressing looked more like lemon chiffon. The fish and chips were over cooked which resulted in them being dry. The rib eye was not served hot, so you know it had to sit too long before being served. Slow service as we had to ask for drink refills and forgotten ordered items.
Great staff, thank you
Great $17 burger! Cooked to perfection and valet parking!
Sports Bar vibe underneath the collosal 49ers' stadium. Decent bites and drinks at a very high price. Conch fritters were tough...I do not recommend. Happy hour specials are limited to a few drinks only and overpriced wine by the glass.
Overpriced pub fare. No parking. Friendly professional staff
Unbelievable, food was lackluster and way overpriced for what you get. Pub grub at best at fine dining prices. $25 for a pastrami sandwich - absolutely ridiculous, do not recommend and will not return...
Bourbon pub is great. Been there a few times and the food is always fantastic!
Its not your every day hang out spot ... menu is limited but food is great. Cocktails a bit on the pricey side ... definitely a business lunch or dinner spot with a couple of bars. Service is great.
Menu is limited but the food is very good. Service was fast and it's a great atmosphere.
Fun place to watch sporting events while dining. Despite the NFL draft interest, the restaurant was willing to put on the hockey game as well which was much appreciated.
Very loud with lots of screens for the sports enthusiast.
Lame domestic beer selection that you would get at nearly any dive bar.
