This is a gorgeous flower-filled fully-baked romantic restaurant with outstanding food and service. On the inside you enter a gorgeous world of flowers, tapestry and elegance without feeling like it is contrived, or designed for the wealthy born before 1950. The menu changes regularly, with truly exotic desserts...well done.
Love -so hard to say goodbye
Outstanding dining experience. Devastated knowing this location will be closing end of June.
Bouley is a stunning restaurant with a very romantic feel. The six course tasting menu with the wine pairings was virtually perfect. Get here before they close this space and move elsewhere. It is absolutely one of the top five dining experiences I've ever had, anywhere.
Bouley, for the last 30+ years has been my all time favorite restaurant in the world. Unfortunately, David is closing his restaurant at the end of June, so get there while you can. Lunch is the best way to experience Bouley without taking out a bank loan.
Exceptional restaurant in every respect in a class of its own. Definitely one of the top 3 restaurants in New York.
Food and service were tremendous. Was overwhelmed by the tasting menu with wine pairings and bailed out just before the last savory dish. House staff are gracious , friendly, and helpful. Food was enjoyable. Good people watching.
Bouley has always been a special treat for us whenever we needed to 'pamper' ourselves. We came this time because we heard that the restaurant was closing. Looking forward when it reopens in its new location
Our hearts are broken...this, our favorite, perfect, NYC restaurant is scheduled
to close at the end of this month, so this review is kind of meaningless.
Perfect as always
Our 46th wedding anniversary.
The last time we were there they had an alacart menu. They now only have a price fixed menu and I believe that the portions were smaller.
On a positive note, it is a very beautiful restaurant , but having been there and done that it is not likely that I will return because it is extremely expensive.
As good as it gets. The food is some of the best in New York and indeed international class. It is a pleasure to still have restaurants of this class in NY. Both head Sommelier and Assistant Sommelier were on their game!
Loved the restaurant. Too bad it is closing. The deserts were heavenly. The service outstanding
This is my celebration go to for years. The menu is not great for vegetarians, but they will make something for you if you ask. I think this is by far one of the most amazing places in Manhattan and way beyond!
service, food, ambience all excellent had the 5 course lunch tasting menu for $59 which is a bargain for the type of restaurant it is. All dishes were beautifully presented. The wait staff were professional but friendly also. They came by constantly to refill water glasses and to take away used utensils and dishes. Serving dishes, silverware(silver-plated) wine glasses were top quality. Décor is outstanding. Bread was delicious. A bread cart comes by with about 8-10 loaves where you chose what you want and the bread person slices it for you. Can't say anything negative about the experience. Well worth the 3 hour trip from Worcester Ma. Would definitely go again if time allows before they close at the end of the month. Dress is business casual. Some reviewers complained that a jacket is required for men(they supply one if you come unprepared) but I think it's nice to have a dress code. Jeans are allowed if they are dark with no markings or holes and not frayed. My only regret is that Mr. Bouley was not there so I could have met him and thanked him personally for such a rewarding dining experience that we had.
Very good restaurant! Worth it!
The food and service were both excellent as usual. It is a bit pricey but worth it for a special occasion.
This was the best food I have eaten in my entire life. I have dined at several two and three Michelin star restaurants in the US and abroad. None compared to Bouley. The organic quail egg and veal with gnocchi were highlights.
Still my favorite restaurant in NY. Everything is so spectacularly done.
Our 2nd visit here and it did not disappoint nor betray our happy memories of our first visit.
Bouley is a great place to go for dinner or lunch. We went to lunch and didnthe tasting menu, which is a great deal for the meal you receive. The service is extremely attentive and each dish is immaculate. I would recommend to anyone living in or visiting New York to go.
Wonderful decoration and atmosphere! Cannot express how I love the apple wall. It's so sad that this location is closing soon, definitely love this place, hope the new one is as good as this one!
While ambience and presentation were fabulous, the food was lacking in flavor. Had to return main dish. The desserts were incredible. Looked around for our waiter on several occassions. However, the staff overall were very pleasant.
Probably New York's finest restaurant. Service is impeccable. You are treated like a guest not a customer. And the food-couldn't be better. An incredible place to celebrate a special occasion
The entire dinning experience was very good. The staff the service wonderful. The food presentation very nice and enjoyable. Loved being downstairs in the wine cellar very intimate and cozy.
Exquisite in ever sense. If you can get there before it closes at the end of next month you will thank me! Outstanding food and service and surroundings.
Excellent food and service. Gluten free accomodating but you must still be proactive as I was served something with gluten as I learned after the fact. Very pricey but worth it for very special occasions.
From the moment you walk in to the time you leave, everything is excellent!
This is a top restaurant, and deserves its great reviews.
Last chance to go before closing June 30th - excellent!
The service was impeccable and the food was incredible! Looking forward to visiting the new location and so happy we made it in time to enjoy the architecture of this venue.
It was among the most wonderful meals we've ever had. Anywhere. It ranks right up there. Exceptional food, service and ambiance. If the rumors are true that it's closing its doors, then I feel especially fortunate to have experienced such a memorable meal. Thank you, Bouley.
One of my favorite restaurants...love everything about,it try a go every year when in New York...unfortunately they are closing. Very sad.
My husband and I went for a lunch date at Bouley. We had the tasting menu, the food
It's my birthday bday tradition for years
Never disappoints . One of my all time fav restaurant
It is really nice place to have a good time with friend
Outstanding!! HIgh level of the finest dining. Tasting menu is perfection.
