Boulevard Steakhouse Ratings and Reviews
We met some friends at Boulevard to celebrate some recent happenings. Two of us had never been and had heard stellar things so our expectations were high. The meal and the service exceeded expectations! My filet was cooked perfectly and my cocktails were super delish. My favorite item, though, was probably the crab cakes. They were great for sharing and had a delectably crunchy outside. We'll definitely be back the next time we feel like treating ourselves!
WE HAVE BEEN HERE BEFORE BUT IT HAS BEEN A WHILE. OUR LAST VISIT WAS JUST SO SO. BUT TO OUR SURPRISE IT WAS EXCELLENT! A YOUNG MAN NAMED JUSTIN WAS OUR WAITER AND HE TOOK CARE OF OUR EVERY THING. WE DID NOT HAVE TO ASK FOR ANYTHING. HE IS A ROCK STAR1111 OUR FOOD WAS AWESOME. WE WILL BE BACK BECAUSE OF HIM!!!
Had reservations for 7:45 on New Year's Eve. Arrived in time table not ready. In dinning room. Asked to go to lounge and wait for table to open up. With in 15 minutes we were told our table was in the lounge right behind us. Funny, had been vacant while we were there. Declined that table and waited ten more minutes. Then we were told that the chefs table was for us. Not impressed. Like being in solitary confinement. We saw no one and no one saw us.
Perfect dinner from beginning cocktails to end. We had delicious fresh oysters with a champagne mignonette then a fresh Boulevard house salad, divine truffled mushroom soup and the best 8 oz. filet. The steak was flavorful, perfectly cooked with superb texture. The Au Gratin potatoes were a yummy side, and their bread is hot, fresh and light...so delectable with their unique butter. The house Cabernet was smooth and we enjoyed our house made brandy ices! We look forward to returning soon!
I have been going to Boulevard Steak House almost from its beginning. I know this is its 20th year in business. In the beginning it was our top choice for special event and special friends dining and it always would have had a 5 star rating. The last two years I have seen a decline in food offerings and quality of offerings. This visit I ordered a wedge salad and it came out as a piece of ice burg lettuce with minimal blue cheese dressing ( no crumbles, a slice of white onion and a slice of tomato not even placed to look tasty. I expected more from a top restaurant. I get a 10 times better wedge at BJ's for half the price. I did complain and the salad was no charged for but the evening was certainly tainted from the beginning. I expected lamb on the menu it wasn't there. It was my wife's 70th birthday and the waiter said thy had a special desert for her and later return and says that extra has been discontinued--just select something from the menu. I ordered an expresso and it was delivered in a large coffee cup with the waiter saying they didn't have small expresso cups.
All of this convinces me that the bad reviews I say on open table are becoming true. I certainly hope that management is paying attention t he reviews and brings this place back up to its original standards before the lack of business causes them t close. Edmond really needs a quality restaurant in town where the residents can take special quests and have special events an g top quality food, wine and service.
Probably wont go back unless I see better reviews or hear from friends that things have improved.
Your place was recommended by a coworker. Food was good but service was very poor. No sense of urgency by wait staff to accommodate for the prices listed. Would have been better off at cattlemens restaurant where service and food are surpurb. Will not be back.
This was the third time we have dined at Boulevard. Each time we have been grossly underwhelmed. This time, we ordered a filet to split between us. They split it for us and served it on individual plates. We ordered it medium well plus...it was medium at most. We sent it back, which took a while because, despite the fact that we were seated by the kitchen, we couldn't seem to wave down a server. When our plates returned, one was properly cooked, the other was cooked ever so slightly more, but still not correctly. We also ordered a baked potato which was overdone. The skin was not edible it was so badly overdone. For us, this was the third and final strike.
We’ve been to BSH on numerous occasions for the Sunday Dinner Club. This one was a bit disappointing. Despite setting a 5 PM reservation for which we requested via OT a table in a back dining area...we were originally seated next to the bar. The restaurant was virtually empty when we arrived, but it took extended discussion to move to the center of another dining area. Dinner lasted for 3 hours! The food was great but the rest was not the normal BSH standard. Tonight was too busy, too loud and too slow.
Great service started with the reservation. I was emailed information and the menu.Excellent dining experience. Best rib eye steak I ever had. Impeccable service. This is a great place for mature people that do not mind paying top dollar for a great meal. I treated my daughter to a birthday dinner here. She loved it. The Chef prepared a special birthday dessert for our table and delivered it himself. I look forward to our next visit.
We hadn't returned to Boulevard Steakhouse in many years; we now greatly regret not having frequented it sooner and more often. Very tasteful and classic decor; exquisite service. The crab cake appetizer was generous in amount and had wonderful unique flavors. Steaks were very tender and done perfectly. The wine list is large and varied in choices and price range. They didn't have the moderate-price range cabernet we ordered, so we were given a somewhat more expensive bottle for the originally ordered bottle's price. The meal ended with a complementary dessert for the birthday we were celebrating.
This was our first time to the restaurant and were very well surprised, it was like eating at home, everything relaxed and just great, the food was excellent, we ordered the coconut shrimp, and it
was the best we had ever eaten, along with that, the filet steaks were cooked to perfection, as
was the service, always checking in to see if anything was needed. The whole experience was
