I utilize this Restaurant frequently for business entertaining and have recommended It to many associates for the same reason. The food is superb, the service excellent and the ambience conducive to business or a more social occasion.
Food was excellent. Sunday supper as a prix fix is a great idea and very economical. Waiter service was extremely good.
We have gone here several times for brunch and enjoyed it. We thought we would try the dinner menu. From the app to the main dish, it was very disappointing, and the server was more interested on what was happening at the other table, didn't pay much attention to our needs. We won't be coming back for dinner.
Service was spotty. It seemed the server was overwhelmed. Appetizers came out in stages as well as the amuse bouche. Halibut was overcooked. No manager on floor. It was disappointing as we have gone there many time sin the past.
It was my first time at BoulevardFive72 and I loved it! The service, the atmosphere, seating, food and drinks were all fabulous. Worth the price. Would highly recommend for any dining occasion.
Excellent as usual.
meet friends from north jersey as this is midway for us. Always a good menu and good food. Service was excellent, the wine list decent. Enjoyed the ambiance and evening. Easy parking or valet if you prefer, but parking is no problem in kenilworth.
Food was delicious. It was a nice place to have a conversation. The wait staff was exceptional. Was able to relax and enjoy the atmosphere without feeling you were being rushed. It is bit pricey.
While the food was very good, it’s a bit pricey. My husband and my friend ordered one of the specials of the day which came with mashed potatoes, they both requested if they could have the sweet potato purée instead of the mashed potatoes. The sweet potato purée was on the menu as a side for another dish. We were charged an additional $3 for each of the two requests. We all thought that this was ridiculous, since this a side offered on another dish, it wasn’t being made for these two dishes. Okay that wasn’t the most egregious ridiculous additional charge. They served the bread with olive oil, my friend asked for butter, they also charged additional $2.
Also. The chairs were rickety and the cushions needed additional loft. My husband’s chair was so rickety, they had to change his chair. While I don’t usually write reviews of restaurants I was really annoyed that an upscale restaurant of this caliber had all of these up charges and less than comfortable dining chairs.
The food was great, my partner and I really enjoyed ourselves. I went with the old faithful steak and eggs. She had the huevos rancheros. Very tasty!
We strived for brunch Sunday at 10:46 and was immediately. Lovely table complete with cloth tablecloth and napkins. Our server Andrew arrived promptly and explained the brunch menu.He also get me a wonder cup of fresh coffee
Sunday there is s price fix special which included coffee unlimited mimosas or bloody Marys.Mimosa were delicious and we enjoyed every drink.
The good omg we choose the 4 starter choices my favorite were the buttermilk pancakes with warm maple syrup. The other 3 items were good but the pancakes were delicious.
We both did the chicken Cobb salad. Bountiful fresh and a treat to the pallet
Andrew knew when to replace our drinks as well as our hot beverages
I am from Florida found the Blvd on open table and we are both elated with my find.My sister liked it do much she is planning to host an event at the restaurant.
You make a gloomy Sunday bright and cheery.
Cons - Pricey. Inside is very nice but the view from where we were sitting, looking outside through the window, was just a highway.
Pros - Service was exceptional. Food was exceptional. Drinks were great. Will definitely go back again.
I had the lamb (chop and loin). Hands down best meal at the table. Guests had Strip Steak (very good) and Duck (very good). Apps were also delicious. Did not get dessert.
Excellent spot for a quiet, upscale, business lunch. Menu selections were great, cocktails and wine were superb, and service was super. Would definitely recommend.
Service was super attentive. Great menu. The food was super flavorful and amazing. Overall a great experience
Mother’s Day dinner with my wife
This was our first time and we will be back.....with some lessons learned.
We were promptly seated and water, cocktail menu, food menu, and bread were quickly served. Our waitress introduced herself and took our drink order after giving us the specials of the day. Drinks were quickly served and our appetizer and dinner orders taken. Apparently there were some large parties going on and it was 30 minutes before the appetizers were served. It was almost 45 minutes after that before our dinners were served. I have never finished a glass of wine before my dinner.
Having said all of that, I must say that the food was superb. I had the cavatelli with pulled short ribs and my boyfriend had the pork tenderloin. Both meats were cooked perfectly and the sauces were flavorful. Both dishes were served piping hot.
Getting our car out of valet parking was not an easy task.
We will definitely go back with 2 lessons learned.....go during the week and park on the street.
A colleague had recommended this place especially for Sunday brunch so we decided to check it out. We made a reservation just in case, and were seated immediately upon arrival. Service was prompt and courteous. - Since it was our first time here we decided to go with the Family Style Prefix for $35 p.P. for the table, which includes 4 starters to share (I highly recommend the Beignets which were delicious. Especially with the lemon dip.) and one main entrée per Person. Plus unlimited coffee, tea, Mimosas and Bloody Marys. If you choose this option, come hungry (and have a designated driver).
Will come again. Food was very taste and the service was great. Only complaint: the chairs could be a little more comfortable.
A favorite of ours. Always terrific. Exceptional service.
As always Blvd Five72 was great. We will miss it when we leave NJ at the end of the year.
Everything was perfect, our waiter was great. We celebrated an 86yr birthday, hoping for 87!
I thought the food was excellent. But the time between the appetizer and the entrée was almost 50 minutes and no one ever came over to tell us what was going on our offer us more water or bread we spent almost $900 in the restaurant and I just think the service could’ve been a bit better.
Very good food and service. Past two times we have dined there has been an off putting cleaning smell and the interior could use some updating.
Food was delicious. Price very reasonable. Service was fantastic. Wait for table (Sunday for brunch) took a bit of time despite reservations. But everything about experience was well worth the wait
The cocktails were excellent - try the Intermezzo... The service was attentive and followed our requests for the pacing of the meal. The dinners were delicious and portion size large. Definitely a lovely evening.
We are regulars at Boulevard 572. The experience has never failed us! The food and service are always excellent! We will return for another great evening of great food and fun very shortly!
Excellent food and attentive service. We really enjoyed that we could order a la cart from the lobster tasting menu.
This wasn't my first time here....but I have never had a server as inattentive like Sunday afternoon.
It is really sad..because the food is amazing.
Gem of a restaurant in Kenilworth!
Came here for Easter brunch with my boyfriend. Great deal for brunch, unlimited mimosas, bloodys, and buffet. Service was great, will definitely be back
Quiet atmosphere made chatting a breeze as did the unobtrusive service. Best Cobb salad I think I ever had! Will be back as always.
Service was very good. Food good but nothing out of the ordinary which is just what we wanted. I would definitely go back.
Excellent food and service . We were not rushed and had an enjoyable evening
We came here from Jersey City and it was worth the drive. The four of us chose the fish and I asked for paleo changes, which were accommodated. The fish and vegetables were beautifully prepared and delicious. The ambiance was excellent, including the noise level. Fine service too. This is truly a top flight restaurant.
My wife and I went the night before a Nor' Easter was to hit New Jersey, and we were one of two tables occupied in the restuarant. There was a private dining room where a private dinner was going on.
The service was very attentive and the food was wonderful and the portions large.
We will definitely go back.
This is my second visit and I was just as happy the 2nd time around. The food was freah and portions perfect. The drinks were yummy and our waiter was attentive. When we were leaving even the waiter who was working a different table wished us well and thanked us for coming. Took my mom and teenager. They both had a blast
Had a great time for their brunch.
We had dinner Saturday night at Boulevard Five72. We had an early reservation at 5:30 because we wanted our 1000 points: When-we arrived, there were 2 tables but started filling up at 6:15.
What bothered me, we were very rushed, she brought the drinks.salad, bread within 10 minutes: They cleared the table so fast they took away my butter for my left over bread. I looked around the room and everyone was leisurely eating. I told the waitress to slow down which she did. The manager apologized and brought more bread.
I’ve been here before at 530 and was never so rushed. The food was good but it put a damper on the meal with all that rushing on a Saturday night. Next time I go to this restaurant I will to order later and tell the waitress not to rush.
I Felt very rushed to pay and leave! To the point that I was told it was the last call when i barely had a drink the whole time. I couldn’t even have a normal conversation without being stopped every 10 mins
Used to be better
As always I have never been disappointed. one of my favorite restaurant. last time I had their tasting menu; it was excellent! you can have it w/ wine pairing or not. And they also have the ala carte if you desire so. regardless, the food was delish from start to finish. I have been recommending this restaurant to my friends and colleagues! keep up the good job.
Fabulous food! Dinner in the wine room was lovely and the service was excellent.
