A lovely place. They have a very attentive and informative staff. The food is fresh and delicious. It is our go to place for special occasions. It’s decor and setting is elegant, but yet, very friendly and welcoming.

My friend and I wanted to celebrate our mutual birthdays with good food and tasty drinks. The Bloody Mary’s were savory good! I love the peppered pork belly and the mushroom toast was mostly on point. The mushrooms were a bit salty for some reason which overly contrasted with the brioche toast., but otherwise the meal was delightful. My friend preferred the omelette and loved it. We appreciated the cheese and fruit platter; perfect compliment to an otherwise tasty meal.

A good place to meet friends. No rushing, relaxing atmosphere. But we didn’t know how popular it was, they ran out of 2 specials by noon on a Sunday. Very accommodating when we didn’t care for the brunch menu they made us a salad with seared salmon...delicious!

Tried the spicy Shrimp and Grits for the first time...now it's one of my many favorites! But there isn't anything on this menu that I haven't loved. Service is wonderful, waitstaff are friendly, and there's nothing around to compare, in my husband and my opinions.

Very nice place ,looks great nice ambiance and food was awesome!!! Our waiter was great as well. Only problem is my wife and I went for our anniversary and I actually picked what the occasion was when I reserved the time on open table. I guess they didn't pay attention to that and set us right next to a large group of around 10 people. I was trying not to complain but as the group was laughing and talking it got to the point when I couldn't even hear my waiter or talk to my wife . Finally I asked our waiter if the table that was open in the next room were reserved, and they weren't , so he moved us and it was a whole lot better.

Place is great , but small . I would hope they would seat the large party in the smaller side of the Restuarant instead of having to seat couples trying to have a nice romantic dinner next to the large party.

Food was tasty and beautifully prepared. My wife, Linda, thought her spaghetti squash vegetarian dish was one of the best meals she's ever had. I loved my Mahi Mahi. Perfect setting for our anniversary dinner.

Chef Brett is amazing! If you've never had Sweetbreads The Boulevard IS THE PLACE to have them! I was so hesitant, but my Brother in Law gave me a bite of his one night and I was SOLD!
Im not even a steak, lamb or filet person, but boy do I love ALL the appetizers and the Sweetbreads. My husband loves all their steaks and fish as well. You just can't go wrong!!
PLEASE save room for their dessert menu. It's amazing!
The waiters and staff are SO professional & friendly as well.

Boulevard Bistro is the best restaurant you could ever want for fine dinning. The food is amazing. The menu is small, but everything on it is top notch. We dined with some friends. Each of us had something different, and each of us was extremely happy with our meal. From soup or salad to dessert, all the food is expertly prepared. Also our server was GREAT. He was very helpful in helping us select some wine to accompany our meals. Thanks to him, our meals, as well as the service was wonderful. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that loves GREAT food with a comfortable, cozy atmosphere.

This is a converted house in Old Town Elk Grove. We had wonderful steak on a Wednesday for a birthday dinner. It was about 75% full and while it wasn’t hushed tones quiet, we could still converse in normal speaking voices. Wine list is varied, although not extensive. You will find the right wine. It probably changes with the menu. I know the menu changes with the seasons. This IS a small restaurant so you aren’t getting a large menu. But what they do, they do VERY well. Definitely quality over quantity.

Definitely worth the drive....full disclosure though... my drive was less than a mile.

Our regular "go to" in Elk Grove Ca. for any special occasion - and once again, they not only didn't disappoint, they hit it out of the ballpark - I had the lamb shank (unbelievable delicious!) and hubby had the filet - we were celebrating his 85th birthday. Each bite was a "mmmmmmm" moment -- tiny living room inside a small home, the atmosphere is upscale (white table cloths, etc.) and intimate. Service is nearly impeccable - old school and so wonderful to experience. It's dining with a capital "D" instead of eating on the fly - such a treat! Thank you Boulevard Bistro for bringing such a wonderful venue to Elk Grove, Ca.

We love Blvd Bistro - it's our go-to local dining spot. We have been for dinner and brunch time and time again since they first opened their doors, and continue to love and be satisfied each time. We have gone for a couples night out, family dinner with kids, group dining and event dining. I've been satisfied every time. It has a local feel and is consistently great service and food. Priced well. If you aren't happy with something because, hey it happens, just tell the server and they take care of you, no problem. It is a great place all around. I always dress light because it is a small place and with the kitchen and full house of people it runs warm.

Steak and lamb Shang were excellent. Squash was wonderful. Promised mashed potatoes were almost nonexistent, maybe a tablespoon. Nice table spacing, but low hard ceilings made it a little noisy.

Delightful as always. Took my 79 year old mom to Sunday brunch for her birthday. The service was great, the food was yummy, especially the deviled eggs small plate. And it was easy to have a nice conversation with my mom.

The food is always very good here and the service is excellent. However, the ambiance could be better, the decor is a little too simple and the carpet needs replacing. The reception area is awkward when you first come in. It's cramped and gets crowded quickly.....

We went to Boulevard Bistro for our Anniversary, and although it was very good and I gave this restaurant 4 stars. I do have suggestions to make it 5 star. We booked reservations through Open Table, and Open Table asks in it's application if we are celebrating a special occasion. I put in that we were celebrating our Anniversary. Service was great, but we mentioned we were celebrating our Anniversary, and my husband and I thought it would have been nice if they acknowledged it first. This showing they are that "special" restaurant. When you dine at a family owned restaurant and it's fine dining, there is usually that special touch. Again, only a recommendation... it would separate them from other fine dining establishments. Overall, had a great time because it was with my guy and the service was 5 star!

The food has been consistently great every time we go there. The staff is great, they work really well together, and they even remember the little tweaks we like. The chef/owner is super nice and the kitchen is clearly very talented. We have had new flavors and combinations, and superb wines. It's a perfect place for us. We wish it wasn't six hours from home!
