Everything is always absolutely perfect. We have never come to sf without going there for breakfast and for dinner. Fabulous.

The restaurant was located inside the Ferry Building which is already a tourist hotspot so the noise level was high. The table my group sat at was family style so we were sitting among a couple other groups. It was a little difficult to have a conversation.

Excellent food. Attention to sourcing produce shows. However, hostess and some of the staff are disconnected from reality and rather bizarre. It took 1/2 hour for us to be served despite our reservation. We did eventually connect with a competent waiter who was great.

Visited for girl friend catch up lunch. Had the pollo salad and farmhouse lunch-veggie w/ cheese tartin. Both were very delicious and the right lunch size.

Four of us went on a Saturday night. The food is excellent. Staff is excellent. To me, the tables are such that it would not be for a date but that was just my thought. Maybe good for larger groups.

It has been a while since I've been to Boulette's Larder. Boulibar did not exist the last time I dined at BL. It is a great addition. The food remains stellar and I like the addition of the pizza oven. My girlfriends and I split the olives, crudite, octopus, circassian chicken salad and the funghi pizza. Cocktails were excellent also. This was a nice way to have a leisurely lunch.

Boulettes and Boulibar never ceases to amaze! Consistently extraordinary experience. Service is gracious and the food stupendous. If you’re looking for a quintessentially San Francisco restaurant near the bay, look no further.

Their pizzas are some of the best in the Bay.

The food wasn't up to my expectations unfortunately. Also breakfast ends at 10am! Even on a Saturday, which is very unfortunate. Our server was nice but couldn't project her voice well and brought our dishes separately although we asked for them all together twice...Nice ambiance but I'm underwhelmed by the food.

Terrific breakfast- salmon was amazing and so fresh, eggs fluffy, tasty and fantastic. Bread crisp, brioche soft and thick. Truly a great culinary experience - even for breakfast!

Outstanding experience! The cuisine was lovely! The Mezze platter of pita, tzatziki, and cumin marinated beets were amazing! We’d never tried Beef Tartare until last night and was delightfully good! Finally, their pimento paprika fisherman’s broth was so delicious! We were thrilled to spend our wedding anniversary at such an exceptional dining establishment

I don't eat out at nice restaurants regularly, but I took my mother here for her birthday. She absolutely adored it. I thought it was exquisite as well. We opened up with some Sightglass French Press coffee, Burrata with toast, and a Mediterranean Set Yogurt (chia/berry/creme fraiche/coffee cake). It was all absolutely delicious and our servers were regularly checking in on our experience. For our entrees, we enjoyed the Sunday Salad and the Vegetarian Farmhouse Lunch. Both, again, were divine.

Of course, this was a special occasion, so I felt fine spending a decent sum of cash to allow for a full experience and make sure my mother had a great day. With tip, everything came out to about $140 between two people.

I was cautious about a wonderful restaurant being located in the Ferry building, but the ambiance is calm and comfortable as well. I couldn't recommend this restaurant more highly.

Wow, second time I have been and it was EXCELLENT! Plus they sell Lemoncocco my favorite non alcoholic refresher when I can't get away with a glass of wine at lunch and remain focused for my afternoon! Salads were exceptional, mezzo with fresh pita and tzaziki were wonderful, and service was just perfect. Congrats to the team making this happen!

The food was excellent! The poached octopus and scallops were phenomenal! The soft scramble with halibut was delicious! My only wish was for a bay view and faster service. Our waitress was understandably overwhelmed by too many tables to manage.

The service was painfully slow and the waitstaff needed to be prompted for everything.

A very limited menu and they were out of a prominent menu item (smoked wild salmon).
They are next to a farmers market that probably had smoked wild salmon. It seems management could have solved the shortage in a flash.

Not a totally unpleasant experience, but one I’d rather not repeat.

Although I've been in private events at Boulette's Larder, my only previous visit to BouliBar was a lunch. I liked the menu, but none of the dishes were really stand-out. We had a bunch of appetizers and I was disappointed in the duck rilettes, which I had remembered fondly. They were bland this time. Other appetizers (sprats, boquerones, burrata) were similar -- good but not great. For entrees my partner and I split a mediterranean salad and the pasta ragu, to similar effect. Desserts were fine. In all, a good but not great meal, and I expected great from Boulette's Larder.

We had exceptional meals (Pacific Halibut, Fried Eggs (over squash hummus) & warm savory cornbread) and made sounds of extreme gastro enjoyment throughout! We sat on the back patio looking at the Bay bridge and completely enjoyed the meal.

When I arrived at Boulette Larder, I was redirected to the main dining room and told that another hostess would seat me. That hostess was not there and I had to wait. Though I had a reservation and there were plenty of open tables for 2, my guest and I were placed at a communal table. When I asked for a private table, the hostess said it was for guests who made reservations, which I had. And, there were 3 empty 2-tops. She had to speak to a manager so not at all empowered to give me an empty table. When we were finally seated (at the private table), we waited for a very long time for a waiter even after asking the water boy to send our waiter over twice. We ordered salads and shared an appetizer and asked for it at the same time. Instead, they brought the appetizer only. I asked about the salad and they said it was coming but the two tables next to us, both of which were seated well after us, received their salads first and we waited another 10 minutes for ours. A waiter never came back to check on us or refill my iced tea. I had to get up from my seat and find the waiter to ask for our check. While the food was delicious, the service was TERRIBLE and I would not have another business lunch there again.

I love an excuse to go to the Ferry Building and this restaurant fits the bill. Try to get a table next to the water; it's a wonderful view. The food wasn't as good last evening as I had previously; I often go there for lunch. My friend loves the breakfasts there on Saturday and hope to try that next! Have fun.

Boulettes Larder has beautiful aesthetics and is a wonderful place to visit for comfort and for an elevated food experience. I have only visited for breakfast - where it is easy to step out of the frenzy and slow down. One can enjoy leisurely time with good company and exceptional food.

Really disappointed. Usually go to BL for dinner. Went at 1:00pm on a Saturday hoping to get brunch to find breakfast is only available until 10:00am. That's my bad I should have checked before hand. Ordered a $24 salad and it was just some bib lettuce with about 1oz or less of chicken. Tasty, the seasoning/dressing was excellent. I'm a salad girl and will pay for a great salad but this wasn't a $24 salad.
