Part of the Cunningham Restaurant Group (CRG) family, Boulder Creek Dining Company opened in 1997 in Brownsburg, Indiana. Over the last 20 years, we've made a name for ourselves with our homemade barbecue ribs, wood-fired pizzas, steaks and pastas. We invite our guests to relax in the ambiance of a rustic mountain lodge while enjoying excellent food and service. The recently renovated bar area, adds to our position as a neighborhood staple.

Great place for just about any kind of dinning. I love the lunch options and of course the dinner is fabulous. The staff is very friendly and always helpful.

I took my husband here for Father's Day brunch.
Besides the phone constantly ringing, it was crazy noisey, (we were the first few to arrive with reservations at 10:30am). The brunch is a small limited menu. (No gravy, muffins, biscuits, grits, turkey sausage, flavored cream, waffles, danishes, etc.) My husband's omlete was the smallest one I've seen, he also got a small portion of hashbrowns. Our waitress was absent but the one time we saw her I had to ask for butter ... and she ran away as I was also asking for syrup. (We had 3 pancakes delivered without these items, cold by the time we got butter/syrup.) Never saw the waitress again until she noticed our stacked up empty plates, then she finally gave us our bill.
We enjoy lunch & dinner here, and are Reward Members, but won't be back for brunch.

One negative was the round table was in a high wait-staff area. Everything going to and from the west dining room went by our table. The presentation of the fried shrimp could have been more artistic instead of dumping them on the plate. Maybe the tails in all the same way? We ate inside this time, but weather permitting always outside.

We wanted to dine at an outdoor dog friendly restaurant and Boulder Creek has met our needs in the past. The service on the patio by Kerry was outstanding. She brought a dog dish and filled it with cool water for our dog and was very attentive to us throughout our stay. I had never tried the seafood here before but tried the Walleye dinner and it was tremendous....probably my choice again next visit.
The tab comes in a bit salty for a casual "grab a bite" eating but for a nice casual meal, we find the place is great and we visit often.

Boulder Creek is always good. The food has never been bad. We have loved everything we have had there. Drinks are always good. We had an excellent server Saturday night outside on the patio. I wish I knew his name because he took very good care of our table and did a great job.

We go here frequently and normally enjoy it very much. A couple times lately however we’ve had to endure some VERY noisy (also quite drunk) bar patrons. Having bar seating in both the bar and dining room seems like a problem. People in the dining room typically want to have conversation with each other. The noise level of the inebriated folks (on the dining room side) forced us to move to a table at the opposite side in order to hear ourselves think. I won’t be tolerant next tine we have this issue. Easier to just move on to a different venue. I like to enjoy a few drinks with friends too, but I’d be in the bar area (and still wouldn’t be as loud as the ones we saw Friday night).

Our server Brooke W. was always there when our drink glasses were empty. Some of the food on the buffet that should have been hot ( at lease warm) was cold . Overall I'll go back if I get Brooke as my server.

Great service. I Like the pick 2 for $25 on the menu. I had the filet and shrimp with wild rice and broccoli. All good. Great ambience. The triple dip appetizer is a great value as well.

The 6 of us enjoyed a wonderful Saturday dinner. Our service was as excellent as our food. It can be a bit loud in the main dining area for older ears to hear everyone around the table.

The fresh baked bread is a terrific start especially with the house special dipping oil. House salad and Caesar salads were fresh and tasty. The sea scallops were prepared to perfection and paired nicely with fresh asparagus and a tangy sauce. The streak filet was prepared just right with plenty of fresh broccoli. Portions are large so no room for dessert. Always a pleasant dining experience.

The wait staff were wonderful, and can't say enough about the food. I had the filet, cooked rare to perfection, with Parmesan risotto and asparagus. Make reservations as they are so busy but so worth the wait!

Excellent as always. We each enjoyed different meals. The salmon with asparagus and cous cous was excellent. Hubby had a bbq chicken pizza, friends had tilapia and pubelo chicken. Always fresh and excellent value. Can’t wait for outdoor dining area to open again.

The whole experience was good but not great. I tried a little of everything. Shrimp cocktail, sirloin, beer battered shrimp and a few bites of my wife’s meatloaf.

Let me start by saying nothing was bad, but our expectations weren’t met. The shrimp cocktail was mediocre—save money and buy 50 shrimp at the grocery store—there wasn’t much of a difference. So for me, the cost didn’t meet the taste so no value there.

My sirloin was cooked perfectly medium rare. The beer batter shrimp was good but would’ve been better as an appetizer because of how few there were. My wife liked the meatloaf and I enjoyed the smoky/grilled taste from the few bites I had—there could be more flavor for sure. It tastes like pepper and onion were the only non-barbecue flavors added. It also tastes like they patty the meatloaf, grill it, then freeze it, and then bake it before serving.

I feel I’ve been more critical than the experience. The food tasted pretty good, the server was sweet, and the atmosphere wasn’t bad. I just didn’t feel there was enough value for the money. I wouldn’t recommend it to friends, but if invited by a friend, I wouldn’t object to going.

Food was very good, wife had mahi-mahi special which she enjoyed, I ordered the walleye dinner which is outstanding ! They always allow me to switch out the rissoto for a baked potato which I appreciate. Service might have been some of the most "uneven" we have ever received. Not sure if server was new or overwhelmed on a Saturday night. Took 15 minutes to get first drink after we ordered, 25 minutes for bread & oil after he asked. We were pretty much ignored after placing our dinner order. Great service is usually the "norm" at Boulder Creek but not tonight.

We had visited Boulder Creek once before while passing through town and had a very good meal and wanted to come back. We found ourselves passing through again and decided to do dinner again as we had a good experience once before. We did not have the same feeling for the place, it seemed almost like a totally different restaurant or possibly new owners or chef. We were served bread which was crusty and warm but the red sauce put on a plate for us wasn't very good, not sure how to describe what it was, oil of some kind with something tomato mixed in. We also ordered calamari which would have been better if they didn't put siraccha mayo on top but on the side. The pizza ordered was ok, nothing great but ok. Service was lackluster and I almost felt like we were forgotten diners. Don't usually write negative reviews but was disappointed in quality of food as well as service.

I don't know who our waitress was (forgot!), but she was fabulous. We had our grandbaby with us, and she set up the hammock for the baby seat when my son and daughter in law got there, she paid tons of attention to the baby and to us, and took care of a food matter (spinach and mushrooms--yucky). Very good experience!

Service was great - Melissa was fabulous and friendly. Even kept our waters full after we had paid. Jalopeno cheese waffle fries were delicious and a very generous portion for the price. My rosemary salmon was just ok. The salmon was blackened which doesn't seem to go with rosemary cream sauce, of which there was very little. There were 2 tiny sprigs of asparagus which i don't think even counts as a vegetable serving. My husband's chicken parmesan had red sauce on the chicken but alfredo sauce on the pasta which seems weird too.

A positive experience overall but maybe they are trying hard to be too creative with the food. This after all is Indiana and we like traditional cuisine.

Good food, reasonable price, good service. BUT, this particular restaurant has a few boothes that are small ( narrow, cramped, no room for feet, NOT for larger people). On Saturday 3/10, a friend made reservations for 2 for 6:00, we arrived shortly after 5:30 prepared to wait until 6:00 for a booth. My friend is 5’10, 235 pounds and I’m 5’11, 170 . The “hostesses” (plural, for some reason) put us at one of the narrow and UNCOMFORTABLE boothes. Why would they do that? . We ask to move. There was a birthday party going on in separate section of the restaurant .. 20 plus people (LOUD people) and a separate table packed full of their unsupervised, no boundaries, children!! They put us in there!!! We stayed because we feared where they put us next. Bottom line .. the “hostesses” need to think. I did say something to a management person but I wasnt convinced she understood the problem with the system. ‘Nuff said ..

I had the ribs and they were great. My wife had a margarita pizza and it was so soggy on the crust that she only ate two pieces and those were only along the edge. We did mention this to our server (who did a nice job) but our bill was not adjusted. My wife had ordered that pizza before and it wasn't soggy, but this time whoever was in the kitchen did not do a good job. The pizza looked good but the crust was mush.
The server did ask if my wife wanted to order something else but the meal for the rest of our party was done.
