Boulder Creek - Brownsburg Ratings and Reviews
So very kind and notable of you to honor Veterans on Veterans Day. We enjoyed it emensely and as always, the food was delicious, the service great and the ambiance fantastic! For many years, Veterans and active military were ignored or not well thought of. My husband served during the Korean War and when he was discharged, his uniform was used to mow the yard or discarded. Sorry now—but we were sick of war! So happy our attitude has changed! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the delicious meal!
Upon arrival at the busy restaurant there was no waiting for us due to prior reservation. Our table was waiting for us. It was Veteran's Day and there were many vets there to partake of the free entree offer. As a Vietnam Vet, I am grateful to the Cunningham Group for their observance of our country's vets. Boulder Creek was a busy place that evening with all the vets and groups of every age group. The bar was full; servers were hopping to take care of everyone. It was a bit noisier than we usually like; however, we will return there again.
Aside from the fact that our waitress forgot to put in our order, and she did try to make it up to us with a free dessert and LARGE side salads, the food was fine. We were having dinner with an elderly family member.
Wish restaurants could be a bit more creative in handling wheelchairs and table height.
However, overall the meal was nice, the noise level at that time of the (early) evening was acceptable. We'll be back.
Went for a birthday - never announced it but had mentioned to Open Table that was the reason. Food was very good - everyone got what they wanted and it was hot and served well. Waiter was just okay - polite but never checked back as to another drink - did ask about dessert but nothing else....Started cleaning table of everything before we had hardly finished - we frequent this restaurant a fair amount and obviously some of the waitstaff is better than others. Certainly would not let this be the reason to not go back. Just a little flat on the service.
Have ate here before but was not impressed this time. Service was bad. We were put in the corner and it was so dark you couldn't read the menu. Then at the end of our meal a mouse ran across the room. Told management and they did not do anything for us. Asked if we wanted free desserts to go. Um no I just saw a mouse in Your restaurant. Won't be recommending or going back.
Our group of 7 celebrating a co-worker's service anniversary received excellent service from the staff. The food selections were varied, and everyone voiced approval regarding the quality and taste of the menu items selected. One of the hostesses assisted with a group photo upon request, and we had a very enjoyable and fun evening.
We had a small family gathering here on a Sunday afternoon. I had the walleye with crab stuffing and thought it was good. My Mom had the fried tenderloin and really liked it. My Father had a hamburger and said it was fine. My wife had a salad and tortilla soup and the other two people with us just had soup which they both thought was very good. We have been to several of the Cunningham restaurants and I would not rate this as highly as some of the others. I always leave here feeling this is good, not great although it is closest to our home. We come here 2-3 times a year but not at the top of our rotation
I have been to Stone Creek and I was guessing it would be like that. Sadly is wasn't. It was very loud like voices echoing...our waitress couldn't even hardly hear us to get our order. The saddest part of our experience, for me anyway was, their mixer was broken so no mashed potatoes were being served! I usually only get mashed potatoes when going to a restaurant because I don't like anything else. There is a Kohl's/Walmart not even 10 min down the street. I feel as though they should have bought a mixer and made the mashed pots when customers wanted them or at least for the customers who were really upset or bummed out about it.
As usual, everything at this restaurant was well-prepared and delicious. A combination of an accessible menu (everything from cheap burgers and pizzas) to higher end steak and seafood dishes, and extremely well-flavored food, plus regular appetizer/dinner specials unlike the other items on the menu, and you end up with a place I'm always happy to go.
We were really disappointed. We have been there many times but this experience was awful. It was my husband's birthday and we could not enjoy our celebration. We were rushed into our entree without barely getting into our salads. Our steak was not cooked to order. The noise level was deafening. We will need to find another place for future celebrations.
I made our reservation for 7:30 PM, we arrived five minutes early, we were seated at 8 o'clock. The table we were seated at was next to the bar and was open at 7:30 when we arrived. Our service was excellent and the food was excellent. Our final bill was a bit pricey. $209 for five people. We did not order any alcohol, just food. I probably won't be back unless we are taking there for a business meal.
