Nice menu, prices a little on high side, food very good, we had steak and well worth the trip. I remember the old Cork n' Cleaver chain which was great. Brought back memories, since I worked at the Denver Cork in grad school many moons ago.
We had a wonderful meal, as usual. Brought some friends who had never been to Cork and they were very pleased with the meal and service.
Have been going to the Cork since it was the Cork and Cleaver. Have never had a bad meal there, and service is always excellent but relaxed.
Always excellent...however, cocktails smaller and less potent...?
Everything was awesome. Just what you would expect from a upscale steakhouse. Most of the restraint was bustling and noisy and fun, but we got put in a nice quit corner by the fire. Perfect for us.
We had a wonderful birthday dinner for my mother! Outstanding service and delicious food, as always! We even were granted our request of sitting near the fireplace. The ambiance was perfect for our family dinner!
Had not been for a meal in years. Will be sure to put The Cork at the top of list for fine dining, as well as a great place for happy hour in the bar. The bar menu is spectacular.
The Cork is expensive and sort of old-fashioned in its menu, but quiet (a rarity in restaurants these days) and the quality of food and service is pretty high. I appreciated their accommodating my limited (low FODMAP) diet, and my companion enjoyed his steak and enchilada dinner, although both the enchilada and the bread suffered from being somewhat dry and hard on the top.
Steaks were good. Apps could have been better. Overall good experience. Will definitely be back for the steaks!
Great Steaks, great service. The waiter was very knowledgeable about the wines & cocktails. We loved it! :)
Everything was fantastic, as usually. Jim the Head Chef and the entire staff were great.
As always, the Boulder Cork experience is wonderful. And our waiter, Lionel was the best!
We had to wait 20 minutes to be seated for our reservation. Food was good but overpriced.
We really like this restaurant, unfortunately the food was a little off that night. Both steaks were supposed to be medium, but one was overcooked. The crab Oscar was cold and the crab was watery (canned).
The service was a little slow for a Thursday night, but attentive.
We are visiting from NY and we are foodies!! The food was simply put YUM. The service was fabulous. I would recommend this restaurant and done by the toasty fireplace. Thanks
Nicole decorated, tables are separated enough that you don’t have to hear what the other parties are discussing. Food was good (we all had burgers, the grassfed burger was the best) and the wine list offers a lot of choice.
It was nice, but the food was ho hum. I wouldn't invite my friends there.
Dustin, was our server. He was outstanding,.
Everything was great..fantastic..wonderful, not to mention Very Good !
A suggestion: provide freshly brewed coffee as each individual order is placed, making one at a time, NOT serving coffee that has been sitting in a carafe for who knows how long. One of our cups was barely warm, the other tasted stale! - Think this is an area that should be addressed (I don't want coffee that has been sitting in & served from a carafe! - usually it's stale) ...
Came to celebrate a birthday with a party of six. The ambiance was warm and inviting and they sat us near the fireplace at a corner table. Our waitress described the menu selections perfectly and added just the right amount of good humor to our celebration. Great wine list, and moderately priced. My medium rare baseball cut sirloin was cooked perfectly (and our waitress checked with me to make sure). Desserts were also amazing, especially the giant peanut-crusted ice cream sandwich my daughter ordered. We couldn't have had a better time. Thank you.
Lovely! Great food, nice ambiance and great service. Would go again for a special dinner as its a lovely place.
We went for Restaurant Week and truly enjoyed the evening! Great value and quality. Thanks so much! We will be back. My wife would like more chicken entrees to choose from.
Great ambiance, service, and food - began to get noisy on a Friday night about 6:30 but nice & quiet until then.
We had to make dinner reservations later than usual because of a large crowd of folks at company sponsored dinners. But our dinner was a wonderful experience and we were seated at a quieter table in the restaurant. We had not realized that this was restaurant week. Our meals on the special menu were fantastic. Our server, Lionel, was terrific (as always). He managed to take care of a large number of diners with impeccable skill and great humor. The salmon dinner and prime rib dinner were done to perfection. We enjoy this lovely restaurant that is lively without the ear-splitting harsh noise of so many restaurants in the area.
We had a 25 minute wait... with a reservation. That is annoying!
The food was fantastic!! Our service was a little bit lacking.
The service was wonderful and the food excellent. Our table was comfortable and the staff attentive without being intrusive.
Food was pretty good, I started with the Cesar Salad, it was small and pretty basic I will try something else next time. My main dish was the Prime Rib, it was tender and the smoked mashed potatoes were really good. I was hoping it would come with a vegetable as well. I finished my meal with the Dark Chocolate mouse which for someone like me that doesn't eat sugar, it was extremely sweet and rich, I was only able to have a couple of bites.
Boulder Cork is a special place in Colorado known for its outstanding food and service. Chef Jim Smailer adds so much! His creativity and passion for a great tasting meal keeps us coming back and we live an hour away.
We went for Denver restaurant week. The meal was great and the value outstanding. We love the Cork - it's a reliable restaurant with good food and a welcoming atmosphere.
Great food, great service.
Great place for a business lunch. Always delightful. Most of us had the salmon special and were not disappointed it came with polenta on the side. The mushroom soup was very good too. Lots of cream and mushrooms. Perfect place to take key customers for a business lunch.
We love the Cork. The food is always delicious.
Celebrated my Aunt’s 90th Birthday the Boulder Cork was very accomodating & when we requested a quiet room, they came through with a private room. Food was excellent. They even brought my aunt a Birthday cake & took our group picture & gave her the framed pic—they went beyond our expectations!
Always eat at The Cork whenever we visit our son. We all love it.
Excellent service complimented the well prepared meals.
Went here for Valentine's day weekend, stayed at a great hotel as well, decided to enjoy our weekend and try a new place, Boulder cork was an amazing place, had the prime rib, the best prime rib I've had in years!! You guys knocked it out of the park! And the mud pie for desert me and my girlfriend loved it!! Definitely will be back!!
The Cork is a splendid place to dine for special occasions because it is on the pricier side. The food and service are lovely, and the fireplace room is much quieter than the main room, which tends to get too loud. The wait staff is very patient in answering questions, and they offer mouth-watering suggestions. Their wine cellar and list is the best I've seen in Boulder.
Just a great place to have a romantic dinner. 1st time here and it was our engagement weekend. The backdrop set the tone for the evening
