The Boulder Cork Restaurant has provided quality food and excellent service since 1969. The restaurant is now one of Colorado’s most renowned dining experiences. The casual, yet attentive atmosphere is the perfect place to spend a special evening, be it to relax with friends or entertain business associates. Our banquet facilities can accommodate large groups with the quiet proficiency and superior quality that has become the hallmark of The Boulder Cork. The food is an impressive display of creativity and variety, masterminded by the chef, Jim Smailer. Chef Smailer has created an enticing offering of steaks, prime rib, chicken, pasta, and fresh fish selections; all on the cutting edge of culinary delight. The food is as fresh as the market allows. The true epicurean will agree that our efforts are apparent to both the eyes and the palate, from the appetizer through the handmade desserts.

The meal was overpriced for the quality of the food. We would not return there because it's not a good value.

We have had many Valentine's Day dinners out in the Boulder area over the years. Something always seems compromised because of the crowds, whether it be sardine packed tables, bad food, or slow service. The Cork, however, did not compromise anything last night. We are regulars there, and everything was as it would have been on a normal night. Great service, food, and ambiance, as always. Definitely a Boulder gem.

lucky enough to snag a reservation on V-Day and the place was the perfect atmosphere for the occasion. A little $ but worth it as it would be for special occasions

Valentine’s Day dinner was well spent at the Boulder Cork. The food was great. We ordered from the special Valentines menu , our server was fun, the head chef came to the table to check with us.....great night out.

Disappointing food, overpriced. Even the mashed potatoes were bad - and that's hard to do!

I've been eating at the Cork/Cork and Cleaver for many years. The food and service is always great. This Valentines day dinner was certainly no exception. The Norwegian halibut was outstanding!

One of our favorite "upscale" restaurants. Very good food, service and reasonably quiet so you can have relaxed conversation.

Truly disappointing for a "fine" restaurant. Beside the small portions they offer for the high price of the dish I ordered, apparently they could not make from scratch the side of vegetables the dish came with (to avoid one of the ingredients) because it is already prepared.

Our group of friends had a delightful time, again, at the Cork. As with our previous visits, the overall experience was excellent from food to drinks to service to an environment that is very comfortable for dining and conversation.

We came out for date night with another couple for my birthday and were not disappointed! We were seated in a smaller room back by a fireplace and wine cellar that was great ambiance for good conversation.

Our server highly recommended the prime rib which was amazing. Other steaks, sides and appetizers were great as well but the prime rib was top notch!

The Boulder Cork has been a great consistent place to dine for many years. Service is quite good and the food is always tasty. The physical environment is especially pleasing with rotating art and a southwest vibe. It has been one of our favorites since moving here 20 years ago.

Disappointing tonight. I enjoy the ambiance here, it feels a little like an old fashioned steak house, and I was looking forward to this night out. My husband enjoyed the scallops and a dressed baked potato. I was sorely disappointed with the night's special, a cornmeal encrusted halibut that was overcooked, and tasted dry and flavorless. And kinda pricey at $40. Accompanying veggies--carrots and broccoli-- were bland and unforgettable.

Haven't eaten here in a few years and thinking it improved, we tried it again for my wife's birthday this past weekend. Our server apparently had too many tables assigned to him and wasn't really around. We had to ask for him several times. He was very polite just way too busy. My wife ordered a well done steak and it came out pretty chard. Very expensive piece of hard steak... I have been coming here with my family for over 40 years for special occasions. It was disappointing that it wasn't special anymore. Hopefully this post is heard as trying to get this restaurant back to the caliber of what it once was and not taken as someone just trying snipe using the web.
