Was there for small graduation dinner our first time great place
Nice as usual. Good specials are a help on a menu that has been around for a long time but is good.
As always one of my favorite dining venues. Never get tired of Saki Salmon; it's just wonderful!! Our waitress was also excellent and very accomodating to two women talking a lot to catch up on our lives.
Thank you for that opportunity.
Great experience as always!
We had an excellent dinner, the food was amazing !
App - Lobster Ravioli, this could have been an entree, yummy!
Prime Rib, very tender and cooked to perfection with the Cork Potatoes.
Scallops with Spinach and Sweet Potatoes, Best Scallops I've had in a long time !
I would definitely go back!
Sure it's a little pricey BUT for a special occasion it's well worth it !
We love this place! We try to go at least once a month. The food is always delicious, made well, and quality. The ambiance is relaxing and perfect when you want to spend quality friends and family.
My friend and I shared several small plates: all of them very tasty and nicely presented. The service was excellent.
Asked for a standard table in the dining room but we were seated in the bar in a high traffic wait staff area and next to the loud espresso machine. Not our typical experience. We’ve been coming to the Cork for 25 years and never have had a bad experience until now.
Great experience except for a very loud neighboring table.
Very nice happy hour menu and great ambiance for a get together.
Chewy prime rib. Not good
Cesar salad was good
Service was good
We had high hopes for this evening at the Cork. It’s a storied restaurant.
Our main disappointment was the food preparation/execution. I would say we put a strong emphasis on fresh and light when selecting restaurants. We looked at the menu before we made a reservation and thought it could work.
The mixed greens salad was served with a sherry vinegarette dressing that was very long on vinegar with little to no oil. The flatiron steak was prepared to medium as requested but came dressed with more butter than the ramekin of tired looking chimmichuri that was listed on the menu. The roasted potatoes were completely over cooked and not edible. The carrots were undercooked. The other entree featured Anaheim Chile (well-prepared)!with pork that was over-cooked. The side of black beans was also overcooked.
Our experience made us think it wasn’t worth the higher price of our meals.
If you’re looking for a traditional steak place with a few Mexican favorites and have no worry about calories I think this is a good spot. But it doesn’t compete with well-executed dishes at other area farm to table type restaurants.
The service and Restuarant are great! Their food is good, but is lacking any kind and of amazing review. We had steak/filet which was really good, but the chicken enchiladas was just so so (not listed as “chicken enchiladas” specifically but is one of their New Mexico style dishes).
Love the Cork. Been going there since 1974. Celebrated my son's birthday and he really enjoyed it too. GREAT food, cozy, nice lighting and wonderful waiter. Easy to park as well!
As always the food was fantastic. The prime rib was absolutely amazing and the sea scallops were even better. Everything made for a wonderful experience.
My favorite happy hour in Boulder. Good prices, reasonable portions and the food is always superb. Wedge salad, dreamy Mac and cheese and a Chile laden burger!!! Couldn’t pass up the mud bites!!
A good place to celebrate an anniversary or other milestone. Food was excellent. We felt very safe with Covid protocols in place.
Always a good experience great food and service.
Nice to go to a restaurant that’s not a chain
Wait staff was very attentive and personable but not overbearing. Food was exquisite. Wonderful dining experience.
The food was not up to their normal quality. Prime rib and filet was disappointing.
Also reserved a booth in the bar but they let walking take the booth, so we did not get the seating we reserved.
The food was good, but not as good as I remember it being. the burger was overdone; the lobster ravioli was good, but didn't have much sauce and the fish bowl was good, but not worth the price. I haven't been here in awhile, and when I have gone in the past, it was a GREAT restaurant. This time, the meal was okay, but not up to the standard I had come to expect from a place like The Boulder Cork
If there is a restaurant you can count on for consistency in Boulder, it is the Cork. Others come an go but the Cork always comes through. Easy parking and lots of room for spaced indoor seating.
Scallops were divine. They have the best carrots! If they don’t come with your dinner, we highly recommend substituting for them. So happy the Cork survived the Pandemic!
We had a great dinner. Rudy was excellent and everyone very attentive.
We were celebrating my son’s birthday. We got appetizers then Filet Mignon and Halibut.
The restaurant was spaced out and comfortable.
Sat on patio, where we first met two years ago. As our first dining out after 13 months of pandemic, the evening and food and drinks and service and ambiance were perfect. We still love you, Cork!
Great menu selections, great wine menu, great ambience, great service. Wonderful night out! Highly recommend.
Love their cocktails and ambiance. Food and service were good too.
Great place, great staff, GREAT food! Will be going back
Very much enjoyed our birthday celebration!
Visited Cork for my girlfriend's birthday. We were happy with the service and food quality. The flavor of our steak was spot on and reminded us of what you would experience in a traditional, western-style steakhouse. If we had a suggestion it would be regarding our side dishes. We were under impressed with the seasoning and portion size. We don't believe in larger portions... the sides were priced as if they were large enough to share, and that was not the case.
The star of this meal was our server. He was solidly knowledgeable, attentive and polite. We were even surprised with a large portion of their "famous" Mudpie for the birthday girl... which was yummy, and a commemorative picture that was presented to us in a personalized paper frame from the staff! We plan on returning for some of their lighter fare soon. Overall a great experience.
Great server. Everyone from seaters, to clearers to servers. Food, variety, all was the usual, wonderful. House salad is my favorite although desserts were something not to miss. Split the mud pie though. No way you won’t eat the whole thing.
Great food and had an awesome time there. Costly but well worth it as the food tasted phenomenal.
Always wonderful! Our favorite place to enjoy the best food in Boulder!
We have a favorite waitress that stoped by the table to say hi, Kim ! Very welcoming!
Our waiter did a wonderful job and of course we can’t wait to go back.
The service was amazing; best we have had in years. Everything we ordered, including craft cocktails, appetizers, specials and entrees, was very good and cooked to perfection. I would prefer if they would encourage people looking for a quieter and more dressed up night to seat together in one area, allowing those looking for a more casual feeling another place in the restaurant. It certainly seems to have the space to do that.
Everything was great. Service and food, awesome!!
The service was very rushed. We were not offered bread and butter when seated, and were not told of specials of the day like other tables around us. We had to ask for a dessert menu, since it was a birthday celebration. Thought I mentioned that to the server, but he was in such a rush he probably did not hear me. I have been going to the Cork since it opened, it does not seem like it is up to the same standards (even pre-Covid.)
The food was excellent, the service was fantastic!!!
Overall very good. Had the filet and was delicious but not the most tender filet I’ve eaten. Son’s teriyaki steak was devoured. Visiting from out of town so resetting my expectations that everything in Boulder is expensive.
In approximately 30 years of going to the Boulder Cork, our family has had ZERO bad meals, and only 1 experience of less than great service. It is by far and away the most consistent restaurant we have ever gone to or currently go to.
Thanks to the entire team at the Boulder Cork.
