As always, the Boulder Cork food was excellent, prepared just as we requested and the service was prompt, professional and friendly.
Our selected dinners were terrific. Fish bowl and Sake Salmon!!
one of our favorite restaurants in Boulder. Never disappoints.
Seated at one of the back rooms, which as quite and comfortable.
Service from server Marge was exceptional. She was professional, friendly, and made our evening truly enjoyable.
Baked brie, salads, steaks, wine, and dessert were all wonderful.
Highest of recommendations
last time our fish (halibut and salmon) was very fresh but, unfortunately, this time it was not fresh at all. It was dull and dry. It was very disappointing
Excellent service and delicious food! Very nice wine list too.
Solid, top-tier steak and other food offerings.
Our server, David, really made things work well. He noticed a new server was running behind and took GREAT care of us. Food came out fast and was delicious.
This was a great date night, and we will definitely recommend and return!
My husband told me that his $49 halibut special was a bit dried out.
The bread was good, the Caesar salad was good, as was my Fish bowl entree. Service was fine, not stellar. Maybe they were understaffed.
It was difficult to hear each other talk at our table because of the noise level in the restaurant.
Overall, it was overpriced for the quality of the food and service.
I got the prime rib on the happy hour menu. The mashed potatoes were cold snd the prime rib lukewarm when it came out. There was no au jus with it and I was going to ask the server for some but by the time he came to check on how the food was- we were all almost done. I did order another drink at that time, but it didn’t come until well after our plates were cleared from the table. We would have ordered dessert & more drinks, but it was just too hard to get timely service, so we left and went to another place for drinks-
We enjoyed happy hour on a Wed evening. Excellent service by Marge. Loved the fish and chips, fish bowl, wedge salad and waffle fries with blue cheese. House wine is average (but only $5 at HH). Lovely bar setting at a high top. We will keep this on the list for happy hour and look forward to trying the prime rib dinner.
I have eaten at the Cork for over 40 years and this was my worst experience by far. The Teriyaki Steak, a favorite of mine, used to be big thick baseball size steak cooked charred rare to perfection. The one I had last evening was a thin, overcooked, over sauced steak for almost $40 that I could have bought at the grocery store for $10.00 and marinated/grilled myself. That's naked--potatoes, veggies, etc. are extra. The prices overall are excessive--$57.00 for a small cut of prime rib?? We asked for a quiet table (the bar was too loud) and were put next to a table of 8 people who were extremely loud and obnoxious to the point I could not hear my date nor he hear me. I did not complain at the time because everyone was extremely busy and my date did not want to make a fuss. But I do.
Perfect place for all types of tastes, something for everyone! Casual atmosphere with top notch food.
Service was great! Thank you Chris for being attentive and professional.
We had a lovely evening out and the locally sourced options as well as the longevity of Cork in Boulder will keep us coming back.
After the Cork reopened when Covid19 numbers went down, they started offering reservations for Happy Hour. It is really nice to not have to stand outside in a long line just to get a table to have a drink and and appetizer. What a terrific service this addition has been. Ive been going to the Cork for years and they are always trying to make it better. This decision is the best one for me!
On our way out, we saw the Prime Rib on a diner's plate - it is BEYOND HUGE - next time that's what we'll be ordering. This time, for our anniversary, my husband chose the halibut special and I was drooling for the filet mignon (so much larger than expected) which was perfectly grilled. The smoky mashed potatoes were a dream. Tried the special "Blood & Sand" cocktail which was "interesting". Lovely venue, outstanding service, we'll be back!
Very Friendly. Outstanding service. Excellent food. Overall a wonderful experience.
Both appetizers and both entrées came out at the exact same time. In addition the bread was delivered a full 15 minutes later. Food and service were both fine but the meal was completely ruined by serving the appetizer at the exact same time of the entrée.
This place was really great. The service was outstanding. We were a party of 5 and everyone enjoyed.
We had he sake salmon and scallops - both excellent! Try the mud pie - it is a house specialty.
Excellent service. Our server Gretchen was outstanding. Our meals (two different kinds of steak and scallops) were also very good. Would recommend it! It was the first restaurant I visited when I moved here in 1 985. Still one of Boulder's outstanding restaurants.
Excellent service and food as always!
Our waiter, Rudy, did an outstanding job of taking care of us. The food was outstanding and we love the ambiance of Boulder Cork. We were welcomed warmly by every staff member with whom we crossed paths during our dinner. Highly recommend.
Great! We will go back for sure! Love the happy hour
We celebrated two birthdays and loved the complimentary desserts and photo keepsake!
A busy night, but we were in a quieter room. Excellent, friendly service; quicker than we expected given the crowd. Scallops, crab cakes and Cork salad were all very good. Belgian chocolate mousse dessert was generous and delicious. A nice anniversary dinner.
Went to happy hour in the bar area and it’s was very noisy. Had a hard time talking with friends.
The food and service is great so if you want a romantic evening do not sit in the bar area.
I have dined at the Cork many times. Always enjoyed great service and a good meal.
The FISH BOWL is wonderful. Thank you very much. Delicious!!!
The food was superb, the service exceptional.
Great food, especially the prime rib. Fantastic deserts. Fantastic service.
Service was excellent. Food was excellent. We weren’t rushed
Teal was terrific and got our slower pace immediately. And she recalled my last visit to the Cork. We had a lovely dinner and experience.
Lovely time for early dinner-/ happy hour menu offers great options for all kinds of diets!
Very nice evening. Great service and tasty food. I would recommend this place.
A perfect meal! Promptly brought to a quiet table. Enjoyed superb service by waitress & support staff. Enjoyed the famous end cut of Prime Rib & Halibut specials. Everything you could ask for in a special meal!
Great food moderately priced. The best restaurant in Boulder!!
Very good experience. The steak was the star. Cooked snd seasoned perfectly. We will return for sure.
Cork's food was wonderful as usual. Service was a bit slow due to the place being packed, and I hear all restaurants having a hard time finding wait staff. I was a bit disconcerted by the noise level, as some in our party don't hear as well as younger folks. We were seated in the main dining room, but the noise appeared to come from the bar where Happy Hour was ending.
Regardless, I've been going to the Cork since 1969 and it's still our go-to place for birthday dinners. Food remains consistently good.
excellent as always
This was an amazing place to have an amazing meal! It was a perfect place to celebrate my dad's 81st birthday!
Food and service was wonderful.
Noise level high which made it difficult for our friend who uses hearing aids.
