We had a great time. The food was excellent and the service was great as well. I always recommend the Cork.
I love the Cork and have loved since it opened in 1969. You just can't beat their prime rib. My only disappointment was my Grey Goose martini. It tasted watered down. Otherwise, perfection. The huge slab of mud pie was devoured by the three of us. The Cork works. . . with other restaurants would learn from everything they do.
One of my favorite restaurants in Boulder. Consistently great food in a lovely setting.
Absolutely delicious, wonderful table/setting, and service! I cannot wait to dine here again soon!
Anniversary date. Our waitress was wonderful...sorry that we didn’t get her name
So overpriced for what you get. I had a sirloin steak. It was only so-so. I’ve had much better at chain restaurants for a third the price. And I’m tired of paying $8 for a beer. On top of this. You have to pay extra for a potato, salad, and vegetables. So plan on $60 total for a mediocre steak.
For $60/lb, the Alaskan King Crab looked a bit minimal. I'm just going on what my eyes were telling me.
Although the taste was excellent.
Had a business dinner with a colleague. Nice place; good food. We both had the Rocky Mountain Trout and it was first rate. We shared a crab cake appetizer; I am originally from Maryland and a bit of a snob when it comes to crab cakes. These were quite good; they didn't pretend to be "Maryland Crab Cakes" as so many restaurants try to do. They were in a nice, light sweet sauce with some veggies as garnish (corn, etc.). Well done. We had a nightcap in the bar after dinner; nice experience. I will definitely return when I am in the Boulder area.
The noise was very bad for the first 60-90 minutes (our reservation was for 7 pm). This is a very nice restaurant and I was surprised at how casual people were dressed. This is Boulder but I still that this was ridiculously casual. The food was excellent and the free dessert for our celebration was wonderful! We definitely will be back but you need to put is some sound deadening.
Good food, but we sat next to an extremely loud table in the main dining room.
Always great service, food, drink and atmosphere. Jim, the head chef is fantastic.
My wife and I had a wonderful meal at the Boulder Cork. Her steak and my prime rib were cooked exactly like we wanted. Our salads were plentiful and tasty. The wine selection was amazing! We will definitely go back!
We eat at The Cork all the time! Lunches are fabulous and the Happy Hour too! This lunch was very nice as it was my Mom's 82nd bday and they brought her a dessert! Thank you!
We are long time attendants of the Boulder Cork! Our past experiences were always excellent and their wait staff were always exceptional! This visit was on a gift card, purchased for my husband 's 75th birthday. We were there as always, with expectations that were definitely met! We love the Boulder Cork!
Our children are coming to visit, and we intend to take them here!
Very nice facility. Service was excellent. Our food exceeded expectations. A nice evening.
Service was great. Food very good and the room we were seated in was nice and quiet. Will definitely return.
Based on the recommendation of a friend and reviews, we chose Boulder Cork for my birthday dinner. While the service was excellent and the setting lovely, the food was an enormous disappointment especially for the price. The artichoke was undercooked, my roast beef was tough, my husband’s ribs were mediocre and my son’s teriyaki steak was tough as well. That there was a charge for sides given the price of the meal itself was a bit much, and most unusual for a restaurant of this quality. Finally, we were surprised that there was no free dessert offered though we had written that this was for my birthday. We really could have had a better meal elsewhere for less money.
It is always a pleasure to dine at the Cork. The cuisine is always excellent and the location perfect in North Boulder.
We love the Cork! The food is always amazing. Our server, Lionel, was fantastic.
There was a family with small children next to us which was unfortunate, but overall it was great.
Only complain was that the noise level was high to due to a noisy table next to ours. Hard to have a quiet conversation with my wife.
I’ve been going to the Cork for 20 years and have never experienced bad service until now. It was abysmal. Our waiter virtually disappeared for about an hour and then when we did see him, he avoided us. Our food took a very, very long time to come out even after we inquired about the delay. When it did arrive. It wasn’t as good as it usually is. Not sure what’s going on at the Cork (new manager?) but I hope they get it together. This place is too good to have service this poor.
The Cork is always a great choice and has been for years! Great seafood or steak - never a bad dish. Their wine selection is also on point. The only thing I would recommend is that they stop putting whipped cream on every single one of their desserts - it really is not necessary and should only be reserved for things like pumpkin pie. :-)
Great food and excellent customer service. Would definitely recommend to friends.
I was there twice in the last month. Both times I ordered the Boulder cut and ended up with 1/3 of it being non consumable fat. My guests had good cuts. :(
Had a great time! Justin was awesome.
Our Birthday lunch with our elder parents was Great! The menu has so many great choices, something for everyone!
Nice quiet booth. Great service start to finish.
Appreciate keeping 'Birthday' classy & low key as well.
Recommend Blue Crab cakes, Trout & Enchiladas!
Thanks Again Cork!
Overall it was a very good dining experience. Wait staff were attentive. Food was good, especially the prime rib and the smoked mashed potatoes. I had the trout which I wouldn't order again, but I hadn't had any in years so I gave it a go. Next time I think we will go for lunch or happy hour.
Overall okay but definitely not worth the price. Prime rib and pepper steak enjoyed by diners. Medium requested steak cooked medium rare. $45 halibut dish cooked dry. Waiter didn't know what vegetables comprised the roasted vegetable dish. Wild Alaskan salmon offered as a special dish only to be told a few minutes later there were none remaining.
And farm raised trout sold In Colorado, where there is an abundance of wild caught trout available.
Would not return.
Our server was over-seated and needed to buy time when we were ready to order. This situation persisted during the course of our meal. The food was good, but not as good as anticipated.
The food was excellent! Loved the Sangrias! You must try one! Everyone at our table enjoyed their selection of food!! Great place. We will go again when in Boulder.
Ordered crab legs, told it would be $60 for 1 pound or $90 for 1.5 pounds. Went with 1 pound. I was served ONE leg with 3 spears of asparagus. When I questioned the waiter about the portion size he said that they weigh the crab in the kitchen so it must be correct. One leg for $60 dollars seams high to me. We also ordered two steamed artichokes and they were not fresh. The place was very loud, hard to carry on a conversation. The waiter was fine drinks were good. Overall felt like I paid way too much for what was served.
Such wonderful food and service! We celebrated a birthday and they sertainly went out of their way to help us celebrate. The building is beautiful, the service was discrete, and we enjoyed ourselves. We will return here often.
Parents in town and wanted a good steak
Delicious food, impressive wine list, excellent, friendly service, pleasant ambiance. Easy to converse, no loud intrusive music.
Went for my son's birthday as he wanted to get a good steak. The steaks are amazing here!
We love the Cork! Amazing service ... wonderful food... FANTASTIC complimentary birthday cake for table with group photo signed by staff!
Fantastic ambiance, service and food! This is one of my favorite restaurants across the country!
Amazing food! I had the teriyaki steak, my husband has Oscar busso. Everything tasted amazing, very prompt service. We come here every time we visit Boulder and look forward to it each time. Highly recommend!
Wonderful pre concert dinner - delightful staff and exceptional cuisine!
