Amazing service. Good ambience. Really enjoyed the beef tartare, French onion soup, mussels with saffron. The chicken was also decent. Having the reservation helps cut the wait for sure!

Bouchon did not disappoint! Our Server Michael was excellent..he made us feel very comfortable and had great suggestions and gave the service you’d expect at Bouchon. The Trout was thee best I’ve ever had! We’ll be back!

We wanted our last meal to be from Bouchon before the drive home. I started with a mimosa and my husband had a Bloody Mary he had the grilled cheese sandwich with their amazing fries. I had one of the best salads I have ever ate. It had a bacon dressing to die for with big cubes on bacon and croutons so yummy. Of course you must go over to their bakery for a few items to take home. Wonderful ending to a great weekend.

One of our go-to places in Napa Valley. It’s the original Bouchon restaurant and one of the three Thomas Keller places in Yountville, the others being Ad Hoc and his magnum opus, Michelin 3-starred French Laundry. Bouchon and Bouchon Bakery next door offer incredibly delicious meals and baked products. With respect to the bakery, lines are always out the door with people enjoying the baked goodies on the outdoor chairs and tables.

Ambiance, 4 star - the room was warm, welcoming, cozy with high ceilings, though a bit noisy, but we asked to turn down the house music which they did right away. Service 5, nice staff, all greeted us Happy Anniversary and had a card for us, very responsive to our needs; Food, 4 star, We had escargots , gigot d’agneau, French onion soup, salad lyonnaise, and confit de canard, plus spinach and brussel sprouts. They complimented us with dessert, profiteroles and creme brulee. I had to send back the Onion soup and duck because not the right temperature, but the onion soup was out of this world once it came back, the best we ever had anywhere. But, duck was a bit dry. The snails came with a puff pastry cap and were exceptional, and the lamb was excellent but nothing extraordinary. The salad was wonderful, spinach was very good although a tad salty, and Brussel sprouts, okay. Dessert was also good but nothing to write home about. Overall rating would be ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ out of 5, but very good value.

Although the menu is limited, we found suitable choices. My trout was alittle fishy, but the accompanying vegetables were good. The special lobster beignets appetizer was rather soggy.

Had an amazing birthday dinner with my husband where we recounted our trip to France last year and look forward to visiting there again. Robbie was a fantastic waiter and added to our wonderful dining experience.

We've been to this place many times, last night food wasn't up to their usual standard, my wife had a steak that was so tough that i had to help her cut it and it was very very tough, i don't mind paying $60 dlls for a steak but this wasn't worth the price, second my plate was so salty that i had to mix it with spinachs to make it edible, the service was great our waiter was awesome.

Always great food and service - a little bit off this visit with the pasta in the beef cheek special dish, and bartender was slow - but all in all its consistently, delicious and all around great dining experience...our son loved the escargot, mussels and beef cheeks
And all generous portions and good value- flat iron steak was amazing as are the mussels and truffle fries.

the salad gourmand with froie gras was excellent. Delicate dressing on the savory side rather than sweet or vinegar. Excellent bread. The casoulet with the lamb was very salty. Lemon tart is outstanding.

Expensive but part of French Laundry empire. We had a great waiter, always with a smile and attentive service.

Arrived for a special celebration with friends, and were very disappointed! Service was slow and inattentive. Took 10 minutes to get our bottle of wine ordered and it was not even busy. The server never brought the sides we ordered, while our Waiter poured water into my wine glass which still had wine in it and never said a thing.
The food was good, but not anything special. Definitley not as good as it used to be.

Once again Bouchon does not disappoint. Everything from appitizers(oysters and escargot) to a steak tartare special, to the incredible french salad, plus the great cocktails, make for a fabulous time. Everyone there treats you well. It is our most go to restaurant that is more than 45 minutes away.

What can you say about Bouchon that has not already been said. Steak Frites with black truffle added to the frites...mmmmm. My wife had the Bruce special, beef cheeks Bourgogne with the best gnocchi ever. Thomas Keller is amazing!!!

Went with my wife. Amazing, give them another Michelin star. Had steak Bouchon with Truffle fries. Excellent!! Wife had a chicken dish that was also terrific. Dessert was a Lemon tart that was very good too. Will be back next time we visit the area.

We usually have a great meal at Bouchon but the quality was lackluster this time. Steak was thick and chewy, not good as I remembered. Apps were tasty. Wine list was disappointing.

The grilled foie gras was perfectly and evenly cooked with just the right amount of sauce. It simply melts in your mouth. Definitely one of the best I had in years. The steak tartare was very well seasoned and very tasty. That seems like a simple thing to do but more often than I care to remember, steak tartare turns out to be under seasoned. Not so here.

My wife got the lobster gratin from the special menu. It was very rich and has many large chunks of fresh lobster meat. At first she thought there weren't any because the large chunks are hard to mix evenly through out the dish. So it was just that part she started out with that didn't have much lobster. The rest of the dish was filled with it.

I ordered a medium rare cut of the Steak Bouchon, which is the eye of the rib cut. I think they over cooked it just a bit. The inside is still medium rare but the outside cooked portion was a little too thick and a bit dry. It wasn't too bad still, but the waiter immediately offered to take that off our bill and replace it with something else. I got the beef cheeks on the special menu and that turned out to be just delicious and tender.

We got creme brulee and chocolate mousse for dessert. The sugar shell on the creme brulee was just the right thickness and perfectly crunchy. The mousse was smooth and rich in flavor. Our two baby daughters also enjoyed the mousse, thinking it was chocolate ice cream.

All in all it was a wonderful meal. A little hiccup with the steak but quickly remedied by the staff with no fuss at all. We had a wonderful evening celebrating our wedding anniversary.

Awfull steak bouchon, burned on the outside for a medium cooking. Truly disgusting bearnaise, which was way too liquid. Frozen reheated french fries!! Poor wine recomendations. A complete deception! I would recommend to avoid this place which only exist because of Keller’s name behind it...

Bouchon is a solid concept with a solid French bistro menu. Our food on this day was only acceptable. Our starters were bland, my chicken was beautiful but overcooked, my companion's quiche was undistinguished. A simple lunch with two glasses of wine, $135. Glasses of wine hover around $20. So value isn't there, but the place is jammed with tourists, the majority being Asian, so business is just fine despite the prices.

I'll probably return, because I live not far away, but I will always order cautiously, and I will try to come on off hours and on off days.

We had a superb meal at Buchon Bistro. The food and the service were fantastic. Everything was done with care and attention to detail. Flavorful and generous not to mention beautiful presentation. We will absolutely be back.

Bouchon is our "go to" place in the Napa Valley. Thomas Keller without the French Laundry hype. Great food, great service, decent prices, very good wine list. There is nothing on the menu that isn't excellent.

We love Bouchon. It is so consistently good. Last two times we dined there everything was spectacular. Service was a little uneven because I ordered three courses and my wife order two; waiter did not time the dishes properly. Not an inexpensive place by any means but you get great value for what you purchase.

Both of us were disappointed with our entrée. Not at all what we expected from this restaurant.
My husband said his lamb tasted like ham. The dessert was not up to the standards of this restaurant either. We will not be returning, but choose from the many other recommended places in the Sonoma/Napa region.
