Stopped in for a quick snack between wine tasting & it was delicious!!!
Amazing meal. Amazing service. Amazing ambiance.
Steak frites & salad were fantastic. Server was distracted & constantly apologizing for making us wait for everything. Although the server made several good recommendations, he was a bit subpar for the restaurant. My water glass was empty for a solid 20 minutes.
Flawless food, steak, veal, appetizers, wine, and the service was even better....only wish the drunk white chic sitting at the bar had more class and would shut up
Been there before, always great service, wonderful food.
20 years I have Ben coming here and each visit is enjoyed. Consistent food and service. Lays top notch. I love the “classics” they brought back for the week. Please offer them always to locals, not on menu. Our secret!
We (boyfried and I) stopped here for lunch on a whim on a Monday. It was fantastic. The service was phenomenal and the food was amazing. There were folks dressed both relatively casually as well in more elegant attire. We sat outside on the patio and it was lovely. They have a great selection of wine that you can get by the glass. The overall experience was wonderful and we can't wait to go back.
Excellent as always. Happened be their 20th anniversary and celebrated with free champagne.Service and food great.
Our first time in Napa celebrating our wedding anniversary an decided on Bouchon for dinner. We based the restaurant selection on the wonderful reviews. It was a great dinner experience not only where we celebrating our anniversary but the restaurant was also celebrating their 20th year. We decided on the 20th anniversary pre-fix menu and every item in the four course offering was truly amazing.
A special thank you to Jose, our waiter, for making the experience a memorable one.
I never write reviews, but I was disappointed due to the fact that I had a positive recommendations from so many people. The food was good, but not outstanding as I was led to believe. Maybe my expectations were too high, but I don't feel it was really worth the price.
The service was awful. We (party of 2) didn't receive our food for a good 50 minutes after ordering. We had some apps to last us a bit, but there was still a large delay. Our waiter wasn't present for most of the meal. and my water was often empty. When we wanted boxes and the check we couldn't find our waiter for a good 15 minutes and was about to flag down any member of staff before he finally came back. Our meal was a late lunch, so maybe that impacted service, but for how few people were still in the restaurant, it was frustrating that we couldn't get much help. Anyways, judging by other reviews I'm sure this place is probably fine, but I got them on a rough day.
Many choices, excellent food and service. Only complaint was it took a long time to get our food
Excellent warm epi bread and soft salted butter to start. I would come just for that.
Order the truffle fries! They are amazing! I also highly recommend the foie gras.
I Liked the food, the ambience, the service. I will recommend my friends to go there.
We felt it was overrpriced although the food was good.
La comida estuvo deliciosa, el servicio y el restaurante sobresaliente.
I had high expectations and Bouchon did not disappoint. Highly recommended!
The food is always creative and well presented. The service lives up to the moment. Ashley at the front desk saved our reservation which I had saved to the wrong date.
We had an amazing experience all around for my husband’s 40th Birthday Dinner! The staff and the food were equally wonderful!
The food was just ok (nothing spectacular), and for the price there are better places to dine in Yountville. The wine list is really expensive, and even the lowest priced are well above the price point of comparable restaurants (by the glass started around $20, half bottles at the low end start around $50). They do offer corkage for $35, so considering this we would definitely bring a bottle next time. We also ate at Ad Hoc, and Bistro Jeanty, and thought that both had great food, and were a much better value.
I am a Les Clefs d’Or Concierge, at the Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Resort. I know service and want to acknowledge a member of Bouchon who saved my evening: the issue nothing to do with Bouchon. I had ordered
a particular item of their menu, asking about it and getting a complete explanation from our server. It was disappointing and I struggled with the meal.
After my wife completed her entree, their dining room manager came over to ask if we were finished with our meal. He looked at me and said he noticed that I was having difficulty with the offering. He immediately
offered I order another entree..., “at Bouchon no one should leave hungry or disappointed. He was so empathetic to my struggles and insisted I order. I did and ordered one of their signature choices....it was sensational. All that, and Alex brings over “goodies” from their marvelous French
bakery for us to leave with.
This is a young man who has amazing instincts. I will forever remember this and speak it to those young assiciates as an example of service and hospitality exceptionalism. Bouchon...you have a rare
His name: Alex Laos! My applause to
Frank C, Lead Concierge.
I’m from Brasil and I received good recommendation to dinner. I was visiting Napa and it was the exact time to know your cuisine. It was a nice experience and if possible I will return shure
Delicious as expected!
The mussels and frites were delicious. The broth was very tasty especially envied with their bread. The tomatoes in the tomato salad were perfectly ripen! Always a favorite!!
Very good food, as usual. The high standard of cooking is being maintained consistently. Love the onion soup and salad and the noise level and music was not too loud unlike the last time we were there.
We love Bouchon, however this experience was not as great as others we’ve had in the past. Our cheese plate was a bit meager. We were smushed into a small corner despite having made reservations over a week in advance. We waited a very long time for our entrees. The food was delicious as always which is why I still give Bouchon all 4 stars. Our server was very busy and did the best she could to check on us, but it was t the best service we have had there either simply because she had so many tables to help. Seemed maybe we just came on an off day.
Traditional French preparation! Delicious cocktails as well!
Birthday lunch was wonderful
Outstanding service and food. This is our go-to spot every time we are in Napa - and I do recommend reservations as it gets busy on the weekends. The Grand Plateau, Sauteed Foie and wine are amazing. Now only if they have a frequent diner club... ;)
Pluses: appetizers and entrees (veal, trout almondine) were excellent. Patio dining was nice. Seated promptly at reservation time.
Minuses: "4" tops were barely large enough for 2, impossible for 4. Service was a big letdown; server would vanish for extended periods of time, although he was friendly and professional. Wine selection by glass and bottle on the expensive side.
Overall, a pleasant French cuisine experience.
The place is small, lots of tables, lots of people, very noisy! This is not a place for a quiet, romantic dinner! Several waiters/ waitress around, but slow to remove empty plates, refill water glasses. We ordered bottle of wine, appetizers, salads, steaks and dessert. Food is good. Ok..., not outstanding...steak and fries! For the price , will probably try other places.
Great food but we were there between lunch and dinner service so there was a lot of hustle and bustle for dinner service. Service was slow probably due to service change.
Loved the foie gras sauted!! EXQUISITE... you have to try it
Visiting from out of town
Great food. Excellent service. Price a little high, but again food and service were tops
Excellent meal at Bouchon. The food and service were executed very well!
Heaven on earth.
Excellent service, very good food. A tad bit loud, but overall really wonderful experience.
We thoroughly enjoyed the Poulet Roti and the Truite Amandine which are mainstays on their menu. These two entrees with their accompaniments have always been consistently excellent.
With the professional, attentive service, we had a wonderful time.
