Everything was great until after dinner when we asked were the rest of our food (doggy bag) was, the waiter grabbed our bill that was in a cup a rushed away. He can back later to say that they dumped everything in one box, although we suspected that it was in the garbage. He said they would remake our leftovers and didn’t come back for another 15 minutes. Of course my wife’s lamb was missing and he remade a lot of fries with a steak. Why wife was annoyed when he made no offer to replace the missing lamb. Sad.
Everything was wonderful
The last time we were here the onion soup was excellent
The reason I downgraded the food from excellent to very good was
the onion soup was not tasty
There were 3 of us and none of us cared for it
That was our only disappointment
Everything else was excellent
Yes we will go back but forget the onion soup
Always great food , great wine, great staff and service
A great experience every time! We never feel rushed. Always something new on the specials board and the Martinis and Manhattans flow to our delight. We normally try to avoid dining out on a Saturday in the valley but I must say... we never felt rushed and the team is always the best! Thanks again!
Outstanding service , amazing food
Food was not at the standard that we were used to. Very disappointed.
We weren't impressed. The braised ribs were dry, and the lamb was served with a squash puree that did not compliment the way the lamb was done. Service was great.
Matthew made excellent wine pairing recommendations and was fun to learn from his expertise
Really made a great meal an outstanding experience
The food is phenomenal and so is the service. Our server went out of her way to make our 25th wedding anniversary a very special one. We had a wonderful time.
Food was OK but not great. Bistro Jeanty in the same street was much better.
First Time Ever !! My food came out cold and my daughters entree was late coming out ;-( it was her birthday so very disappointing
I sent my food back ;(
The tables for two are to close with coats handbags etc it’s swished plus you can’t tap because people talking in your ear just take out 1 table
My food (trout and cauliflower) was rather bland and there was very little cauliflower on the plate. The salad dressing was mostly oil. We were well served by informed and helpful wait staff. Excellent espresso.
Food was amaaazing! Everything was very reasonably priced and the staff was all very welcoming. Only issue was with how close we were sitting with our neighbors. Could not step out from my seat to use the restroom without tripping on my neighbor's foot. You also can't ignore the conversations going on next to you because that's just how close we were sitting together. I've never noticed it at other restaurants (including some super small ones in NYC) as much as I did at Bouchon.
Enjoyable and will likely be back.
Our server, Randy was excellent.
Food solid tho not remarkable in my
Opinion, tho the French Onion soup
Was top notch as were the Profiteroles.
Would like to go back and try some other
The food was simply outstanding - some of the best I've had. The presentation was beautiful - the plate with it's incredible food looked like a painting. Plus all four of us were able to talk without shouting at one another. A very special restaurant.
Always outstanding. Excellent wine selections, wonderful food, outstanding service, lovely setting and decoration.
Quite noisy inside, so we selected an outside table. Ambiance, service and food were exquisite.
I love coming here, it never disappoints.
The cauliflower soup which was a special of the day was really tasty and the ribeye and short rib were cooked to perfection and full of flavor.
Bland flavor, and too salty. not impressive at all. Would not go back.
Server never asked us if we wanted anything to drink.
Food was very good, but not exceptional which we would have expected from a Michelin rated restaurant. Noise level was intolerable. Manager should had had the wherewithal to ask a couple of tables to tone it down. All in all...disappointing.
Great eschargo. Great trout.
I had expectations last night (12/30/18), based on my 2 visits to Per Se in NYC and also based on visits to other Michelin rated restaurants (incl. several visits to Jean Georges) in NYC and in France. Bouchon Napa service was in no way on par with any of the Michelin rated restaurants that I have been to. It was inattentive and inadequate. Seriously....disappointing.
The food was very good but not Michelin-quality. 2 out of 4 dishes were not cooked properly and the waiter never bothered to stop at our table and ask us how our meals were.
Headed to Bouchon Las Vegas next week. Hopefully it will be better...
Amazing ambience. Amazing food. Felt a little rushed to order but service was still great. Among the best meals anywhere.
Beautiful, tasty, worth it’s money! Highly recommend
The food was excellent and the service was efficient, professional and friendly. The noise level was very high it was hard to hold a good conversation.
Fantastic service, food quality, and ambiance!
Excelente restaurante! No hay plato que no esté delicioso!!
Excellent food. Service great.
Very French feel and very good meal. Prices were reasonable but portions very small. We ordered leg of lamb, scallops (my husband immediately ordered a full order of fries once he saw how small his scallops meal was, but still very good even though small portion) and salmon. For apps we had salads and deviled eggs. Dessert was a meringue with an almond crust top, and a coconut ice cream and almond cake. All delicious!!
Excellent menu, food and service with reasonable prices “for the area”. We will return soon.
Excellent service. Outstanding wine list best scallops ever
Fantastic French cuisine served at a fair price with great service.
We love Bouchon.
Our Sunday 3 pm reservation was perfect.
Favorite corner table in the bar ,great food and great service.
Chris was our waiter and is always so so personable.
He is a local so we loved his stories of Yountville
The dinner and service was exceptional as always. A bit louder than usual. The chef also treated us to a few extra niceties. Then the private tour if the kitchen and meeting the chefs was an honor. Thus us my wife’s and mine favorite places to eat.
Fantastic!!! Great food, great service, great place. Took our time to truly enjoy and staff was soooooo accommodating! Will definitely do again, and again, and again.
Just ok. Food was good but not amazing. And for $400 and only 3 people I simply expect more.
