We invite you to visit Bouchon Bakery, an authentic, country-style boulangerie located next door Bouchon Bistro. The Bakery serves traditional French breads and pastries and is open from 7am - 7pm daily.

We were served on the terrasse, definitely more quiet and roomy. Our server Brandon was absolutely charming and competent.
All our menu choices were a discovery in taste and presentation. We will keep a found memory of our evening at Bouchon.
We walked the kitchen’s garden across the street after dinner, testimony to the freshness and quality of the ingredients.
Was just ok. Best thing I ate was the appetizer - heirloom tomato salad - wonderful flavor. Entree was so so. Service was good but felt the bartender (I sat at the bar) had an attitude. Not very friendly and a bit rude. I had removed the paper menu from around my napkin to put it on my lap and before I could pick it up to look at it, she made a face and told me “that’s your menu”.
As a die hard Keller fan through cookbooks only, I have been dying to go to a Keller restaurant. I have had the French Laundry cookbook since it's release as well as the Bouchon cookbook. To put it simply, I've had a secret affair with his recipes for years. Even when we did a road trip from Washington to California years ago, I would keep and eye how many hours drive we were from Yountville so I would know if we sorta came close... but having young kids excluded us from dinning. Cut to now. Our family, minus the 17yo, made a day of going to Bouchon. We rented a Tesla and took the 2.5 hour drive. Having just dined at a 2 star in Valence France I had something to actually compare. Our food: The lamb my daughter ordered was so tough you could hardly cut it, she had to go to the restroom because she could not chew the first bite. My trout was good, the skin soggy and the almonds a too brown green beans were ok, my husband's croque madame was fine but dry, french fries were over. I have to say I shed a few tears coming home. I felt betrayed and really sad. Thomas and I had a bad breakup. Sorry Thomas Keller, it's you..not me. The service was impeccable though.
Our waiter was exceptional. I wish I could remember his name but he was great...a pro. He made the dining experience even more enjoyable than it already would have been. Food was divine!
Outdoor seating was superb choice. It is must to go restaurant.
Over the years I've been enjoying Bouchon I have become much more critical of their food. This time, Bastille Day, the mussels were a bit tough and the broth could have used additional seasoning/wine. Also, the profiteroles were crunchy, I prefer a more "cream puff" consistency. All in all, however, a good meal and their shell fish is the best, not to icy, just the right temperature.
I was traveling with my mom and sister from San Francisco. There was a whole fiasco with the car rental company and we were about 25 minutes late. I had called ahead and the host was understanding and very accommodating. We asked to move inside because it was a little chilly and they were able to move us. Everything we ordered was delicious. We started with the pastries and they were outstanding. My mom has the trout which was light, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. I had the roast chicken and waffles. The chicken was juicy, the waffles crispy and light, and the gravy was yummy. My sister had the French onion soup since she shared with my mom and I. It was very good and perfect portion since my mom and I had plenty of food on our plates. Bouchon was a fabulous start to our day in Napa and will a place I hope to get back to.
Very disappointing. We were really looking forward to this experience and it did not live up to its expectations
Excellent food and service as always! Bartender is exceptional! Can’t wait to come back on our next trip to Napa!
Best service, amazing food, and excellent wine list. Thank you so much team Bouchon!
We travelled all the way from Western Australia after successfully being admitted to the waiting list for The French Laundry
Sadly no luck with a reservation for The French Laundry ..... so we went the next option ..... Bouchon
The warmest of greetings on arrival for our lunch
The meal is something we will be talking about for years to come
I urge everyone to try this incredible French phenomenon
My steak was really bad, and I’ve been here countless times. Even for my 30th birthday. It was super disspointing
A romantic evening in Napa.
Restaurant was lovely and my chicken was good and hot, but the wine list was overpriced and my husband’s lamb was not warm. There are lots of spots to go to in the Valley and this was nice but I enjoyed others more.
On a holiday.
We made reservations the same day we dined. We were seated promptly. Service staff was very attentive. Very good menu with many, many options. Food was super and presentations were lovely. We would definitely go back.
Excellent. The waiter went above and beyond and made this meal a very special occasion.
After a long weekend the chef may have taken time off. The service was terrific. The courses lacked the finish, the flavors that make Bichon famous.
Our slightly cramped two-top stuck us between the servers stand and a couple who seemed slightly, loudly drunk. She went on for some minutes about “floral” as a wine descriptor — with her date, the waiter... perhaps to herself.
The wine list was promising, I settled on a glass of Chenin Cab Franc Rosé. An excellent choice and we were off.
My wife and I wrestled with the breadstick (nice, crusty, chewy, slightly salty) and prayed that Lady Floral would settle down. She struck up a slightly slurred conversation with the table on her left, about the seven wineries they’d visited that afternoon.
My heirloom tomato salad arrived. It was vibrant, crisp and teased with mint and lemon. My wife’s Bibb salad seemed to lack color. It was...well...lettuce.
Lady Floral’s escargot arrived and bathed our table in aromatic garlic. Looked amazing. Then oysters. The waiters had already decided Lady Floral would be giving the bigger tip, so they politely left us alone and turned their attention to her slurred questions about the wine, the menu and the specials.
I decided on a simple tagliatelle pasta overwhelmed with truffle shavings. It was a decadent flourish and I thoroughly enjoyed the spectacle of presenting, then shaving a truffle the size of a grapefruit. But alas the pasta was barely warm and a little congealed, so the truffle barely masked the lackluster pasta.
My wife’s Trout was beautiful, delicate and warmer than my own dish. If she had complaints, she tastefully (and soberly) kept them to herself.
Lady Floral’s date ordered the Pork Chop. It was enormous and blocked our view of the next table’s diners, but we could hear their muffled remarks on its size
Not to be outdone, we ordered a pine-nut-crusted lemon tart to split for dessert. It was far too acidic and overwhelmed the delicate crust, and left me wanting for whipped cream or ice cream or anything to cut the acidity. I settled for water.
It was fine. My expectations were admittedly high.
I've had many steaks in my lifetime but the steak Bouchon at Bouchon is awesome! We had the heirloom tomato salad, the foi gras, creme brulee, and mint chocolate chip sundae and it was all fantastic. Couldn't have had a better meal! We will be going again!
As usual, excellent service and delicious food. We missed our bone marrow appetizer to which our waiter promptly replied only offered during autumn. As an added bonus, the head waiter even allowed us to order from the Bouchon Bakery as the lines over the weekend was too long. We always bring our visiting guests here for lunch or dinner whenever we take them to Napa Valley.
Excellent service and outstanding food
Outstanding experience and fairly priced for the quality. It was a last minute trip and couldn’t get a table for dinner, we decided to go for brunch.
We will come back and plan ahead to try the dinner menu.
Somewhat disappointing. Seated outside, but portable heaters did not provide much heat. Servers did not pay much attention to the outside diners after entrees were served. Dining companion wanted a second glass of wine to complete her dinner, but the server never came to check on our table, even after it was clear that I had completed my entree. By the time we were able to get the attention of our server, over 30 minutes had passed, and my dining companion's food was cold by the time the second glass arrived. The service was so slow we decided to bypass dessert, as we did not know how long that would take to arrive, and we were now very cold. Unattentive service ruined what should otherwise have been a memorable experience. Not what I expected from a Thomas Keller restaurant.
Thomas Keller restaurant so it's a must visit. Also feels like you're in Paris in the middle of Napa!
Bouchon was a disappointment. We asked weeks in advance for a dinner reservation and was told that the only available reservation was at 4:15pm. Our waiter told us that he did not describe anything on the menu because our reservation was during the "lunch" timeframe and they do not do that for lunch although he was suppose to be serving dinner. We were told that there were no available seats at a later time. Yet, throughout our 2 hour stay, there were vacant tables. The wine list was significantly overpriced. Cliff Lede Sauvignon Blanc that retails for $28 was on the list for $65. The menu was essentially a 3-course menu one of which is dessert. I had trout that was "ok", but I would not rave about it or wait in line to eat it again. The bread that I thought would be one of the highlights of the meal, was barely warm and tasted as if it had been re-heated rather than being freshly baked. I would not consider Bouchon for a special dinner or evening. It is probably ok if you are so hungry that you can't wait to get to another restaurant.
So good! Can’t wait to go back and try more on the menu. Food was excellent and worth it. Great service.
Food and service was fantastic. A little loud but that didn’t overshadow the food experience. Highly recommend
We waited at least fifteen minutes for our plates to be cleared after our entrees. We were going to order dessert but lost our desire. We ordered soft shell crab. It was like tempura, but I was never sure if my bite had crab in it out just fried batter and crab shell. The trout was passable, but not that good. Our paté was fine. Maybe I just don't like French cooking. Better luck to you.
Loved our date night at Bouchon! Bouchon takes care of all the details, even giving us a "happy anniversary" card!
Great outdoor table, beautiful ambiance, my food was delicious, my wife’s was pretty good. We love Yountville, and especially Thomas Keller’s restaurants, We come to Yountville for them and the very quaint hometown feeling. And we always will, but tonight was not as unforgettable as in the past. We will definitely be back though, thank you.
Absolutely awesome place
A little bit overrated and has some flies issue but still a pretty nice and cozy place to eat and lived up to my expectations
We had the truffle chicken for two and it was so tender and juicy. Our server was so accommodating. I made a mistake of ordering a carafe of red blend instead of 1/2. When I realized the mistake. He was able to make adjustments to my order. We couldn’t decide on the dessert. He was able to come up with a compromise. We had the fruit and had chocolate sauce on the side. It was the service and food that I expected.
Bouchon Bistro is another of Thomas Keller's restaurants and did not disappoint. It is walking distance to The French Laundry kitchen garden. I was able to do some 1/2 orders of dishes to sample even more culinary delights. It was all fabulous!
Always great at Bouchon. The food and the service is my favorite in the valley!
The food at Bouchon was excellent, but we were there on a Sunday night at 5:30 and the noise level was unbearable. What made it worse was the very loud music; we couldn't hear the music due to the din, but could hear only the constant thump-thump-thump of the bass notes. So, we will not be going to Bouchon again.
