Fresh, local ingredients, prepared with care. Excellent wines that reflect the quality and character of our region and work in concert with the cuisine. Warm, inviting ambiance, service at a relaxed, leisurely pace.
Santa Barbara ‘Wine Country Cuisine’ means we source our ingredients using an ‘as-fresh-and-as-local-as-possible’ approach, with fish from the Santa Barbara Channel and produce from the surrounding countryside. We then take into account how these flavors can be presented in concert with our local wines. I believe you’ll taste the difference and see how well they work together.
We believe Santa Barbara is producing some of the finest Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Syrah. Other locally produced varietals will surprise you with their quality, variety and approachability. Please ask your server for recommendations on how any of our 40+ wines by the glass match up with your selections. Bon Appètit!

Came to Bouchon for my birthday, excellent service! Food was amazing, my wife had the chicken, I had the duck (incredible), pork belly as the appetizer was amazing. Highly recommend the lemon-berry upside down cake.

Loved this restaurant and it was an 8 minute walk from where we were staying. Service was excellent..food was superb..best venison I had in a ling time. Great wine list..would highly recommend.

The food is superb, the servers know about the wines they are serving and are helpful in making choices.
The liver mousse started was over the top delicious, as were the meat main courses.
This is truly gourmet heaven

My wife and I ate at the restaurant for the very first time and thoroughly enjoyed it. The sea bass and the scallop dish are outstanding. The blackberry upside down cake is amazing. I would recommend this restaurant for anyone who enjoys great food at reasonable prices. This place is well worth the money.

This is not Keller’s Bouchon.

Had to ask for a table change to celebrate Anniversary...
It was obvious the waiter was overwhelmed with us.
He did the best he could.
The chicken is really not “stuffed “ just herbs n prosciutto under skin. Just ok.
I think you have to be a local to get a good table.
Wine server did well.
Very busy n noisy.
Went back to Belmond for dessert. Just sayin.

I’ve been to Bouchon before and loved it but not this time. We stood by the hostess/host stand for 15 minutes before anyone would acknowledge us (we had a reservation booked weeks in advance). It was a special Anniversary as noted in said reservation, yet we were seated in a less than desirable table by the hustle and bustle and noise of the kitchen. My sea bass was over cooked and inedible and the accompanying potatoes were under cooked and inedible. I left annoyed, hungry and disappointed in our experience. I will say that the wine we chose was exceptional....but what happened to this once fabulous restaurant?

The space is stunning, the food is incredible, our waiter was perfect. We had a wait a while for our table, even though we had a reservation, but the hostess came next door--where we were having a glass of wine--when our table was ready. The four of us agreed that it was one of the greatest meals we have enjoyed anywhere. Cannot wait to go back.

When we arrived our table was covered with rose petals and we had a nice note congratulating us on our 24th wedding anniversary! We ordered the Tutti Frutti Farms Heirloom Salad to share. For entrees I got the pan-seared sea bass and my husband got the pan-roasted pork loin. We enjoyed glasses of the Bouchon Pinot Noir and our waiter said that Foxen Winery makes their wines for Bouchon. To celebrate our anniversary we finished with the Strawberry Baked Alaska-a dessert I never had before. What a flame! The food was superb and the service was excellent. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Santa Barbara!

I was extremely disappointed in our dinner. We had eaten here about 6 years ago and I had great memories of how wonderful it was. The tomato bisque soup was barely warm and I make better onion gratin soup (a "signature dish") than theirs. My venison was way too peppery and the salmon way too buttery. However, the chicken was the best my daughter-in-law had ever had. The cream brûlée was okay and the molten chocolate lava cake fabulous. Our wines by the glass were also good. This is a VERY expensive restaurant and I would expect much better food. I won't be going back.

Good and varied menu. Excellent wine list although I brought my own bottle. The starter of a trio of scallop presentations was delicious and the scallops sweet and very fresh. Entrees included a loin of venison and duck breast with duck confit. We requested that both entrees be cooked rare and were prepared perfectly. The chocolate lava cake was a sweet and gooey ending! It is sad that an establishment such as this has little choice than to put up with customers who come in shorts and flip-flops. Given how good is this restaurant I think enforcing a smart casual dress code (on their website) would add to the experience of other diners who are happy to dress up. Good restaurant if a little pricey. We will be back.

We enjoyed our meal there and thought that the menu was very good with a number of good choices. Also they have a very complete wine list for those interested in wines. The prices were moderate and the noise level was moderate.

Bouchon never disappoints. Been eating there for years. Price point is a bit higher,, but worth it in my opinion. If you enjoy French cuisine... do it.

This is just plainly a really very good restaurant.
I am always surprised it’s not busier.
All 3 of my guests just raved about their meals.
The waiter was very knowledgeable and obviously really cared that we enjoyed our meal.

We went to celebrate our 18th Wedding Anniversary. Our reserved table had rose petals and a card on the table. Louie our server was very attentive and gave us great customer service. My husband had the Venison and I had the Duck Confit, oh so delicious.

We've been going for years, and if anything the food is even better today than it was when we first went. Our favorite restaurant in California, not just Santa Barbara. Inventive, wonderful cuisine, charming atmosphere, attentive and friendly staff. Not inexpensive, but a bargain for what you get.
