My wife and I and had a small celebration at Bouchon Beverly Hills in May 2016 after getting married, so when I heard they were closing we knew we had to dine here for the last time.
As it turned out, we had the distinction of being *the* VERY last table served (ever) at 9:45 PM, on Dec 23rd, 2017. The ambiance was quiet and surprisingly emotional given the occasion - lots of hugs between regular patrons and employees.
The appetizer was a soup a l'oignon for my wife, as well as a 'petit plateau' of fresh seafood for the two of us. Several mussels and clams, a half-dozen oysters of different varieties (with 3 sauces and lemon), two giant shrimp, and an unbelievably juicy and succulent lobster. The lobster claws in particular were exceptional in flavor and texture. Sublime.
I love classic French dishes, and went with the poulet rôti (roasted chicken) in chicken jus. It was beautifully presented (drenched in a generous amount of 'jus', next to a small heap of assorted vegetables) despite being such a typical/average dish (it's just chicken). This made the breast portion of the dish so moist and juicy I wondered how they do this. Excellent.
The main meal was accompanied by a generous serving of truffle frites. That's always been one of our favorites at Bouchon.
Finished with a special off-menu request: affogato. It's hard to mess this up since it's such a simple recipe (espresso drizzled on vanilla ice-cream) but as expected, they executed the dessert to perfection. They don't miss a beat.
Then as if the meal wasn't perfect enough, our server Jill comped our entire meal when we shared our story/connection to the establishment. We were floored - felt like Christmas arrived early! We tipped her extra.
We live in L.A., but will make a point to visit their Las Vegas/Yountville locations in the future, if their franchise doesn't touch down in L.A. again.

This was the absolute worst experience i have had at a Thomas Keller Restaurant. Food was subpar and they didn't even have everything on the menu -- limited liquor brands? Really?
Terrible! Will think twice about going to a Bouchon in any city.... or for that matter any other Keller restaurant. Sad.
Penultimate night before restaurant closing for good. Bouchon has been a favorite/special place since opening. Hoped to have one last memorable and special night for old times sake. So disappointing. Oh well. RIP Bouchon Beverly Hills.
Dinner was delicious as usual, but service feels like it’s already checked out. We sat at the bar for a long time before anyone even made eye contact with us. We asked for more bread and butter three times before they came, and finally asking the busser made it happen, as the waitress never put in the order. Service was very slow. Our entrees didn’t arrive until more than an hour and a half after we were seated— and the waitress wondered why we wanted more bread. 🙄 We’ll be sad to see the spot close, but if this had been my first visit, I don’t know that I’d be eager to go back. A disappointing way to close a restaurant.

This restaurant is a jewel in every way--food, service, ambiance, value. It always feels special without being overly formal or stuffy. I have eaten at Bouchon in Beverly Hills many times over the years and always enjoyed it. How very sad to know that it will be closing soon! What a loss to LA's restaurant scene. I shall miss it.
It is like losing an old friend, moving away and very unlikely that you'll see her again. I will miss the decor, the ambiance, the sense that this is really a special restaurant. Good bye, Bouchon. You will be greatly missed.
I went for the fried chicken night and was disappointed. I was told they could do a separate batch of fried chicken in canola oil since I'm allergic to peanut oil. But then I was told it was only the gluten free kind I could have. It was sort of crispy and soggy at the same time and not like normal fried chicken. The chicken itself had a lot of flavor but it wasn't what I had hoped for.
The greens it came with had a strange flavor and after one taste my friend and I didn't have any more. The mac and cheese was ok but not good, the biscuit and gravy was nice but also had the taste like pillsbiry dough.
I know they are closing up but this was really sad.
I was sad to learn that this place was closing. SO I made a reservation for my birthday for their final night of fried chicken. They make great chicken. The rest of the meal was awful. Shockingly bad for a restaurant of this caliber. The mac and cheese was dry and tasteless. The biscuit was decent- but the gravy was cold... like already formed a skin cold. The place was packed and since it was closing I kept my disappointment to myself. The biggest disappointment was there was no birthday anything. I used to love this place- but since they know they are closing, they are kinda "phoning it in." It doesn't bode well for the other restaurants in this chain.

Have been to Bouchon in Beverly Hills a few times and all (but one) were very good. The chicken dish is unlike any other I've had (excellent), as are the fish and pasta dishes (other than the Gnocchi - I would recommend not getting the gnocchi there if it's on the menu). Great wine list with many at reasonable prices. Enjoyed this last time there with my wife and two teenage kids and we all enjoyed it very much.
Charges way more than value. I understand the place is closing & now I see why.
THe food and decor was fantastic, service was amazing as well. Cocktails was above average moderate, but overall, the dining experience was definitely worth while. I'm sad to see Bouchon go.
Unfortunately the food was not even close to the one in Napa Valley. It was inferior quality which was a bit of a disappointment for us.
We went there on our anniversary with our kids and the restaurant was packed and there were only a couple of waiters, so we waited exceptionally long for our food to get to us.
Although they were nice to offer us an extra drink for the wait time.

Seating great, we didn't like the way they just put the bread on the table, no plates!
Food was delicious
We have eaten here several times and the food has always been wonderful, this time was no exception. We generally eat early, this time we came later and there was quite a difference in noise level, early is better if you want quiet conversation, late is good if you want lots of energetic noise. The menu had changed a little since the last time we were here and choices seemed more limited, but we did not have any trouble finding good options.

Very nice dining area and gorgeous helpful staff. Very attentive staff kept my guest and I fully fed the entire visit. I would recommend to other people.
Hurry in before they close at the end of 2017! Delicious, unpretentious, classic French bistro cuisine, excellently executed and fairly priced. Friendly, very knowledgeable servers and Sommelier. Comfortable, warm setting. I recommend sitting on the patio. Hate to see them go!

We have been dining at Bouchon since it opened. We’ve celebrated many birthdays and other special occasions. We wanted to go one last time before the restaurant closed. Service was good. The onion soup was delicious as always. Mussels were tasty. I have always loved the poulet rôtie but last night it was not up to par. No seasoning and the parsnips were not a good choice. I’m glad we went but it was a disappointing final meal.
Unfortunately, Bouchon will close soon. It will be greatly missed.
Lovely setting and good food, but perhaps the restaurant was serverely understaffed the night we were there because it took an overly long time to put our order in. At least 30 minutes or more after the waitress came for drink orders. Again, a lovely setting.
I love this restaurant but really disappointed cus it is closing and the menu was not what i expected. Sorry chef Keller couldnt negotiate a deal.

The prnding closing of Bouchon is a very sad situation and a major loss in Beverly Hills.
Food was amazing, service was half hearted. Maybe our sever was not happy working on Black Friday.
Loved our Thanksgiving feast at Bouchon. Wonderful service, food and ambience. Especially enjoyed chatting with Andrew, the sommelier, and hearing his suggestions and where Thomas Keller is growing. Sorry to hear they’re leaving their current venue.

The poulet roti was seriously not as good as in the past. Service was perfect and drinks were great.

For 9 years Bouchon has been my favorite restaurant in Beverly Hills. It compares well with the best Bistros and Brasseries in Paris. It has offered all the fine food items such as the great raw bar fares, escargot, and various pates and steak fritte that one expects to see in a first rate brasserie, and as special has offered imaginative and daring new dishes that one goes to the highly recommended bistros in France.
Unfortunately Bouchon will close its doors at the end of December, so my recent visit there was to say good bye to this wonderful establishment and it’s remaining great management and staff. Even though the menus had been paired down, from exotic items such as Caviar and truffles, the quality of what was offered was superb, and the service was as professional as ever. I am going to miss Bouchon!!
Worst service I’ve ever experienced at a restaurant in Beverly Hills. Food was mediocre at best. Such a disappointing experience overall.
