I love this cafe, tucked in the Time-Warner Center overlooking Columbus Circle. The food is imaginative and tasty, the staff is efficient and personable, and the mini-brownie for dessert is just the cutest thing ever. I've never had a bad meal here, and I visit every time I'm in Manhattan.
Great food and service!
Took very long for breakfast to arrive. We were a party of 10 and perhaps it was too many for that location
The Cobb salad was overly salty.
The service was just ok, the eggs were underdone
Afternoon lunch with friends. Food and service were very good . Recommend a visit.
Perfect lunch spot for a reunion get-together among friends. There was something on the menu for each person's taste, and every dish was well prepared and delicious. Service was attentive and friendly. Though nobody really wanted dessert, we ordered *1* slice of the AMAZING chocolate cake to share--and nearly licked the plate clean!
Pricey for every day, but the view can't be beat!
We came in from out of town and made sure our reservations we’re set. The café did not disappoint. Our waiter was fantastic and the food was well worth it.
I have lunched there many times over the years. This last experience was most disappointing. The salad was inedible...greens way past prime.
The service was awful. Our food (3 salads) took forever to be served, well after customers who arrived after us. It was clear the server never put in the order.
He never apologized, never asked us about coffee and we had to flag down another server to get our check.
Thomas Keller would not have been a very happy owner. I expected more for $25 salads!
Ok place to have lunch with friends. Food itself is good.
But servers are not attentive.
Service was friendly and efficient. Food was delicious as always. I especially love the bread basket with bread shaped into ears of wheat! Main event is the view down looking along the bottom of Central Park. Glass of wine was a bit pricy at $17 but I'll be back.
Food is good, but unfortunately the coffee is terrible.
Fantastic experience. Chef Keller always makes the details matter.
Only our second visit, but outstanding!
Made a reservation and arrived five minutes early, but the last table was given to someone else (not sure if they had a reservation). We had to sit at the “bar.” The two staff at the tiny bar counter didn’t say hello or offer menus or anything for a solid two minutes. They were literally an inch away from us washing cups.
Great Food, nice attention!
I have dined at Bouchon at Time Warner Center twice. EXCELLENT ever single time.
We went late afternoon and were welcomed to have mostly teas and coffees, and there was no pushback that we were not ordering food. (I had called to make sure beforehand, but this is also how it played out!) Great service.
The waiter kept interrupting us to ask if we needed to order food, as if he was gonna kick us out if we would not order. It was late afternoon and the restaurant was not even full. What’s wrong with sticking to our coffee if we already had lunch?
Met professional colleague for an afternoon coffee, snack and dessert.
I needed to wait a few minutes for the person and the waitstaff was gracious and understanding.
I made a reservation on line for a 3:00pm mid week meeting 3 hours before showing up and all was fine. Quite easy. Will return.
Great soup and easy meet-up spot with lots and lots of fun shops around.
my guest arrived before me and was seated under my name. when i arrived the gentleman struggled to find my reservation and did not have noted anywhere that my guest was already there. in fact, i was selecting seating when i noticed my guest.
coffee was not hot, water was not cold.
had to flag down one employee to get the check.
1st visit not impressive at all.
Service was poor--waiter forgot some items and mixed up others. Couldn't gt his attention to ask for salt and pepper. The lettuce in our Cobb salads was tired. Cheese board, on the other hand, was first rate. Location and ambiance are great for lunch with friend(s).
I like Bouchon Bakery -- mostly good food but was disappointed with the cobb salad -- too much lettuce and too expensive for a bowl of lettuce.
Prices generally a little high.
But it's a great spot and wonderful now that reservations are accepted.
Good food and ambience and great value
The food and service far surpassed my expectations. Delicious lunch and excellent service!
Bouchon in Yountville way better but still very good.
Menu is narrower than what appears online or open table.
Good food but when will the management of this place decide what the hours are going to be? Sometimes it's lunch only. Sometimes dinner, too, but only certain days of the week. MAKE UP YOUR MINDS!
We look forward to brunch here every year at Christmas time. Great service and food is yummy!!
Our go to place when visiting NYC. The quiche is always perfect and the mini baguettes are the best bread basket way to start a meal.
Great rendezvous for meeting out of town guests to show them the great view and good food.
We ordered a meal with specific requests of no egg for one person and the meal was brought with an egg. The servers were not very with it. No other special requests were made by our group of four. Also not a terrific menu as one would expect big portions with not a lot of interesting or new ingredients. Tired of sautéed Brussels with bacon.
Very good lunch option. Great views of Columbus Circle and not noisy considering it is out in the open within the Time Warner Center. Service is very good. Did not rush us to order or to leave even though they were quite busy. Salad with seared salmon was cooked perfectly.
Service was very spotty... group was ignored/forgotten through much of the meal. Table was only visited to take an order (10 mins after seating) and to deliver the food. Had to wave down the manager to get the check. Expected more from such a well known restaurant.
Inattentive service from wait staff. Had to ask twice for condiments. Also long wait for food to arrive. Tables are close together, you hear your neighbors conversation better than the person across from you. Disappointing experience.
Wonderful dining option at Time-Warner and my favorite place for a pre-theater/performance dinner. Sometimes the service is not very attentive as the meal progresses, but otherwise this is a terrific restaurant. Very good value, great setting, and quiet enough for conversation!
Great place to stop for a bite to eat quality food that feels like home.
It's the Time Warner Center, so take it for granted that it's not cheap cheap. On the other hand, the food is quite good and it's really a fun place to sit. The baked goods are all truly fabulous, even the bread on the sandwiches is a great cut above normal. Lunch soup and sandwich deal could not have been better. Dinner is actually wonderful value, and I've eaten their roast chicken many times. Always really good. And at Christmas the lights will amaze.
